These are brass plated. I saw one of them cleaned up and it looked beautiful but there is some surface abrasions. There is some residue buildup on these. These will have to be cleaned. The actual electric parts on this appear to be fine but of course I cant really tell. One of the white mountain screw nuts is missing. This charming ceiling light features a light pinkish peach color vintage glass deco shade with a new solid polished brass fixture. The light fixture has a maximum height of approximately 14 inches and is 11 inches at it's widest point. The shade is vintage and is showing its age with some imperfections in the frosted pinkish peach colored glass including small scuffs on the underside of the shade and small chips in chain holes all of which is pretty common for old glass. The new solid brass fixture base is from a pre-assembled fitter kit featuring a brass beaded chain. Porcelain socket and wire(all U.L. listed but the fixture is not U.L. approved) There is a small tarnish mark in the brass neck and other minor imperfections in the brass finish. The arms of the sconces slide inand out of the backplate and are moveable so they can be placed to suit your needs. They are finished on both sides of the arms. So they are beautiful from the side as well, if the arms are pulled in toward the center. The sconces measure 13 1/2" wide and 7 1/2" tall and stand out from the wall 6 3/4" as shown in first photo. I know that it was remodeled but I do not know when. We are updating the entire house now and I would really like these fixtures to go to someone whom appreciates them. They are very stunning and very eye catching. Each fixture holds 3 lights and as far as we can tell, they work well but that was on a quick test run and were never used on a daily basis but for the right person they would have No issues fixing any problem with them. Vintage Antique Brass 2 Arm Pan Chandelier Light Fixture Weber Switch
We have up for auction today a neat Old Light Fixture. The cap is 6 1/4in across and the fixture itself measures 10in across. Both the cap and pan part have ruffle ridges around the edge. The switches are marked WEBER. They turn pretty easy. The sockets hold a shade with a 2 1/4 in. opening. Offered we have(2) 1 pair of Chrome lights in the shape of a ball. Sphere or orb. I cant say for sure there age but I would think there Mid-century, 60's or maybe 70's. They have a style for many decor types, Mid-Modern, Retro or Industrial. There cords are a thick heavy white color and could use a cleaning, One has a plug on its end and the other looks like it was cut off. I'm not sure what type of application there for, I would think hanging but not sure how they would hang without chains or if they would have set into holders of some sort. There both very shiny and each has some little bubbling or pitting and a few scratches which is very common with older chrome items, If buffed or polished it may come right off. One is quite nice and the other has a little more signs of the areas mentioned above. Inside the finish starts ... moreoff with a black color and then transitions to white, one as shown in picture has rusty spots inside near its socket, which you may want to sand a little and paint. The sockets are porcelain. The one with plug is approx. 68" long to prongs on plug and the other that has no plug still has 70" of cord lenght. An old copper& glass ceiling light fixture. 2 The fixture is made of solid hammered copper. The copper weighs 2 pounds. The paper label still attached says it was made by"Ornamental Copper Co. Inc. of"Houghton Michigan" A noted company for making fine quality copper pieces using copper from the deep mines in their area. The glass shade cover has a chip on the side bottom edge that is barely noticible when the glass is attached to the fixture. The fixture is 10 3/4" diameter. And is 3 3/4" tall. The finial adds another 1/2" in height. The fixture cam from a very old house in Kansas City. The owners told us that they had put in new fixtures and these were original to the house. 1 of 2 matching size fixtures. And 1 of 3 matching style fixtures(the other fixture is smaller)

These types of old American made light fixtures are becoming more and more difficult to find. Back when these were made they were made to last. This is a great pair of old light fixtures that can be used inside or out side. Each is made of a metal material. Probably cast aluminum and are black in color. Each measures 23” overall and have 8 beveled glass sides“octagon shape” with the original glass in each of the eight side. The lights were tested and both work. The wiring is cloth but still in great shape. All of the glass panels are in nice condition with one exception. One lantern has two glass panels with a small chip in the glass both chips are inside the lamp and are hardly visible. There is no damage to them otherwise only some wear from use. Each will hold an incandescent light bulb. With standard size base. I do not know their age ... moreor the manufacturer. International bidders MUST contact me prior to bidding for a shipping estimate! Up for sale are 2 Old Vintage Japan Gas Converted Electric Brass Wall Sconces/ Light Fixtures. The 2 brasses sconces used to be gas and have been fully converted to electric. On the rim of the one of the fitters it shows the patent date of"Pat'd.Dec896, Sept2996" The twist knob says"P& S" on the fixture it's also engraved"Weber Patents" They are in excellent working condition. The wire is newer. Upon looking at them. I'm not sure how you would mount them as there's no hardware and I don't see how you would fit it to the wall(even with the bar that's on it) I will leave it up to the new owner to determine. I figured you could drill holes into the canopy and mount it to the wall. The brass is VERY delicate ... moreand it shows it's age very much. There are some dents in it etc.which are hard to see in photos. The pictures show the cosmetic condition a little better than they actually are.The glass shades for the large fitter seem to be heavy for this lightweight of a fixture. You could replace them with something lighter or maybe more of that period. Also, one of the screws appears to be newer. The large fitter is 4 1/8" the small fitter is 2 1/4" The diameter of the canopy is 4" All of the glass shades are free of chips or cracks but do show some wear. Each of these brass candalabras has 38 teardrop and 38 button crystals. They measure 15 1/2" high(without bulbs) and 12" in diameter. They operate by an inline off and on switch. The wire is flexible and in good condition. The candle sleeves are also in good condition. This is a very ornate vintage matched pair of candalabras in wonderful condition.
