The ruffled rim is not cut as deep as the rest. One shade does have a small crack in it. These shades are not old and are common and were put on here to finish the look. Your buying the fixture and the shades are coming with it for FREE and are not guaranteed perfect or the cracked shade to arrive safely It measures approximately 24" in diameter with the shades on. The length is about 38" to the end of the shades It has been rewired and is in great working condition. Wonderful and LARGE art deco ceiling rose. Dates from the 1920s or 1930s. From France. It features a geometric decoration with stylised flowers and fruits. Wonderful detailing. Quality item. Quite heavy. I think this is gilt bronze. Difficult to find. 18 cm or 7' diameter. About 57 cm or 2' 3/4 high.

With curves and swirls and leaf-like shapes. The screw on the base holding the electrical in place is shaped like an acorn. Measurements: Approx. 24" from where it would attach to the ceiling to the base. Approx. 11" wide at its widest point. The areas meant to hold the glass measure 3.5" across at the bottom.
