This is a BEAUTIFUL lot of 2 really heavy ornate door knobs and 2 ornate backplates. I'm not sure what they're made out of, but they have a coppery bronzy color to them. They're in good vintage condition with some surface wear and tarnish and are very grimy and dirty but will look stunning polished out or you can enjoy them with their wonderful aged patina.there are no cracks or breaks.please view pictures for any further description/condition. Set of 3 Vintage Large Heavy Oval Drawer Pulls. Completely Tarnished, One Screwhole w/Flange. Oval Drop Drawer Handles. Round Molded Flange at Top Middle with Screwhole. Bottom of Oval at Hand Grip is Heavy Round Half-Circles(see pics, hard to describe) top of handles is Curled. I believe they are brass, very dark, very t ar nished. But they could be iron. Very old and Pretty. For a H eavy D esk o r Bureau. All ar e alike. Matching in design, each tarnished differently. Each hang freely from the screwhol e flange. On the screwhole Flange. The part that the handle goes through is riveted to the flange with 2 tiny rivets, but the seam has also been soldered. On 2 of the handles, this soldering is cracked. This does not seem to we aken the joint at all. There is no wiggle, the flange is strong, and does not appear that i t will break any further. ... moreSimply a cosmetic cracking. Hardly noticeable. I only noticed this as I was describing the handle. Did not get a picture. If you want pictures of the cracks, I will send them. Measure 3.5" across. 2.25" high not including flange, flange is 3/4" higher, these handles are heavy and sturdy- 3/4" thick at grip area but will lay flat to the drawer. Very Good condition. Tarnishing all over, workable. No Dents or Heavy Scratches, no serious pitting or corrosion, vintage wear- lots of small scratches.

Antique Cast Iron Boy Dog name plate sign
Up for auction is a very. Very old cast iron sign. I features a boy and a dog sitting on the end of a pier? It is beautifully handcrafted and is all black. There is a nice area to add the family name to. It has the name"Castle" barely painted in but it would be very easy to go over. It has a nice 3 hold base for mounting to a tree, deck or whever youd like it. The metal name plate is very firmly attached to the item with rivets. It measures about 12" to about 8 1/2" from boys head to bottom of sign. There is one defect. It looks like the boy at one time may have been holding something. This is cracked off but it doesn't really look bad. To me it looks like he is praying! I will gladly answer any questions you might have before bidding. Buyer to pay 4.95 priority shipping. This set of antique brass door hardware consists of two door plates. An interior door escutcheon, and two knobs The round door escutcheon is cast and the door plates are heavy stampings. There are some scratches on the plates from removing several coats of paint mechanically and from wear over the years. The knobs could use some additional cleaning up or could be used as is. Screws are included. The door plates measures 2" x 7 1/2" The knobs measure 2 1/4" across and are quite heavy. The round escutcheon is 2 1/8" diameter and has been cleaned to bare metal. It didn't go with this door. But came from the same old house being torn down in Pittsburgh, The hardware has not been recoated.

This set of antique brass entry door hardware consists of a large exterior door plate. An interior door escutcheon, an interior key escutcheon, two entry-sized knobs, the lock, the original screws with the exception of 1 small one for the key hole plate, and a long spindle from another door. The round door escutcheon is cast and the exterior door plate and the key escutcheon are heavy stampings. There is pitting on the outdoor components as can be seen in the pictures. There are some scratches on the plates from removing several coats of paint mechanically and from wear over the years. The door knob mechanism is operational but it does not quite retract all the way. It's been cleaned up some on the inside but not oiled. The door plate measures 2 1/4" x 9 1/4" The lock plate is 1 1/8" x 7" The backset to the centerline ... moreof the knob is 2 7/8" The knobs measure 2 1/2" across and are quite heavy. One of the shafts has been pounded with a sharp object at some time as can be seen in the 4th picture. The hardware has not been recoated.
