This is a hard-to-find Victorian Eastlake design by P.F. Corbin. This is the"Canton" design. c1905. Very ornate. This is a pressed steel plate with bronze plating. The bronze plating is now warmly distressed. Condition is very good. No cracks or breakage. No chips. No paint. No rust to the face. But there is miniscule oxidation on reverse. No bending or warping. Design is crisp and clean. Door knob collars are nice and round(no bends/chips) key holes are clean without rips or tears. Measure 5 1/2" tall. They are 1 7/8" wide. The doorknob well is 3/4" in diameter on front. It is 2 1/4" from the center of the door knob well to the center of the round part of the key hole. The key hole is 11/16" tall. We accept Paypal. Penn Antique Restoration. Pair of 2.5"x10" Antique Cleaned Copper-plated Steel Push Plates. Elegant. Antique push plates salvaged from Northeastern Mississippi. They are made of solid wrought steel and have beveled edges. Originally. The plates were copper plated, but some of the copper wore off over the years leaving them with a nice, distressed finish. At the point of salvage. The plates were found dirty and rusty(see last photo) Since then, we've cleaned them to the best of our ability, trying to preserve as much of the plating as possible. Vintage oval steel door knobs and door plates.
Up for auction is a collection of door knobs and back plates. First there are 7 matching oval metal door knobs. They are 1 1/2 inches wide by 2 1/2 tall. Secondly there 2 more metal knobs with a little different design. Then there are 6 back plates. They measure 2 1/2 by 7. The ones remaining are alike with a key hole but not a hole for a doorknob. They measure 2 1/2 by 8 1/2. Three of the knobs have a square shaft to make pairs out of them. Thanks for looking.

I have not restored any of these. Original condition. There is a little rust and paint spots. The structure and bodies of each plate are in very good condition. No visible bends.
