This set of cast iron door knob back plates measure about 5 inches long. They are about 1 and three quarters inches wide. They have a nice East Lake pattern. Both I've been cleaned and sprayed with rust proofing which gives them a black finish. I WILL COMBINE SHIPPING WHERE PRACTICAL.

2 Large vintage 11" cast iron Door plates,escutcheons,Greek Key,Nice!!
Up for auction is this pair of large 11" cast iron door plates/escutcheons. The plates are in excellent original condition with no chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs and only need some wire brushing to clean up. They are heavy and have a Greek Key design around the edges. The bushing for the door knob is made of brass. These measures 3 14" wide x 10 3/4" long and are 1/8" thick. The holes for the knob and lock measure 3" on center. The hole for the lock is 1 3/16" in diameter and could easily be made bigger if needed. A very nice pair of old door plates that would looks great on any entry door. Check out the pictures. Thanks!

Up for auction is this pair of heavy 8" cast iron door plates/escutcheons. The plates are in excellent original condition with no chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs and only need some wire brushing to clean up. They have a Greek Key design around the edges. The bushing for the door knob is made of brass. Notice that these plates do not have the key holes for the old mortise type lock, so if you were to use these on an exterior door with a dead bolt, they would work perfect.
