For sale from a recent old house teardown and salvage is this very ornate. Cast iron, door or cabinet hinge Only one was found so it is being listed alone. The hinge has a"fluer de lis" pattern or design on it. There is a small thumb screw next to the hinge. If you move it vertical the second metal piece as shown in one photo, drops out. Not sure what the function is on that action. The hinge does flex or open but stiffly. It is in very good condition with no breaks, cracks or damage. Measures 4" tall by 3" wide by 1" deep. Probably date to 1880's based on house age.
