Antique, original entry door set made by"Norwich" of Norwich, CT during the late 1880's This set consists of 2 bronze knobs, 1 bronze escutcheon, 1 bronze rosette, 1 bronze keyhole cover, 1 bronze thumb turn, 1 iron mortise lock with bronze face plate, 2 working keys and 1 spindle with 2 set screws. All bronze parts are solid, heavy cast bronze- not stamped or plated iron. We found this set with the 4 parts with it. so we added a period rosette, keyhole cover, and thumb turn from our collection to complete this set. This is an Antique(1890's) door hardware set which includes one 9 1/2" X 2 3/4" entry plate. One 6 1/2" X 2 1/4" inside plate both in the Eastlake Ornate Victorian Cast Solid Bronze Egg& Dart pattern and two solid bronze door knobs measuring 2 1/2" diameter. One cast bronze Mortisse door lock. Items in very good working condition with expected age wear(large plate has a couple dings, some surface scratches noted, smaller plate needs a knob ring) please see photos. Gorgeous antique patina. COMPLETE SET OLD CAST METAL VICTORIAN DOOR KNOBS WITH MATCHING BACK PLATES LOCK
Complete set old cast metal Victorian door knobs with matching back plates and lock. They appear to be brass or bronze plated with a brass ring around the center of the knobs. Knobs are 2 inches in diameter. Back plates are 1 1/2 by 5 1/4 inches. Lock is 3 by 3 1/2 inches and 1/2 inch thick. Front plate of lock is 1 by 5 3/4 inches. The lock has the lock bar missing. Listed is a very heavy brass antique door lock that has the knobs. Front& back plates, and is a dead bolt. It is marked"SKILLMAN" It is 8" long and weighs almost 8 pounds. It is in very good condition, however there is no key. Buyer pays $21.00 shipping in the USA. That is how much it will cost to ship to California& other Western States. Antique Victorian door knobs & plates Lock Corbin Brass Bronze Eastlake
These are 2 door plates- 2 door knobs and a lock. As you can see the one plate has a nice patina& the other. as well as the lock.is just Amazing to look at. The lock turns but will need some work or fiddling with because not as solid as it should be. I am selling this as is- like I do with some other things and then if I get the chance to work on something or bring it in I do and relist different $) Also as you can see the little groove on the side/lower area of lock must have been made long ago from the patina over it. These door knobs are from the 1890's as well but I do not know the maker. They're patina just happened to match very well and the door lock set that goes with them is loaded with many coats of paint and at this point I am listing and selling with these plates. The knobs are solid bronze and 2 1/8" D The plates are 7 1/4" H x 1 3/4" W Lock is 6 1/8" x 1 1/8" Both key swings are in great shape.
