Vintage metal door knobs and copper backplates escutcheon key hole patina
Up for bid is this vintage metal door knob and matching lock covers. These were found together. But no lock or mechanism. I did not attempt to clean or polish them. It took years to get this patina and I want the new owner to decide how they would like them to look. There are scratches on the plate covers and they are indented a bit where someone tightened the screws. The doorknobs have paint on them. It looks like there is an extra set of holes for a narrower door. Currently, there is a about 2.5 inches of metal bar showing between the knobs. Plates are apx 7 1/8 inch tall x 2 3/8 inch wide. Maybe these are metric because they are 18cm x 6cm Door knob is apx 2.5 inches across
