Antique Eastlake Entry Door Set Knobs Plates Lock Key
This listing is for a beautiful. Antique, original entry door set made by"Norwich" of Norwich, CT during the late 1880's This set consists of 2 bronze knobs, 1 bronze escutcheon, 1 bronze rosette, 1 bronze keyhole cover, 1 bronze thumb turn, 1 iron mortise lock with bronze face plate, 2 working keys and 1 spindle with 2 set screws. All bronze parts are solid, heavy cast bronze- not stamped or plated iron. We found this set with the 4 parts with it. so we added a period rosette, keyhole cover, and thumb turn from our collection to complete this set. Norwich" was a smaller company during its time, and now its very difficult to find parts for one of these sets. All bronze parts are embellished with lovely aesthetic(East lake) style details. At the point of salvage, some parts were painted, and all were heavily tarnished canceling ... morethe beauty of the sets design. Since then, we have cleaned and polished all bronze parts to a brilliant shine. The set is in excellent condition with no breaks,cracks,or heavy scratches. Vintage mortise lock with 2 original escutcheon plates and original working skeleton key stamped#C5415. There are no knobs. No spindle, no keeper and no screws. The packaging and no markings. The lock face measures approximately 7 3/8" long x 1 1/8" wide and 3/16" thick and the part that goes inside is approximately 5 3/8" long x 3 1/2" wide and is 5/8" thick, the spindle hole is approximately 5/16" square.

This is a vintage Corbin Brass knobs. Face plates, Mortise lock and one key. The set is quite heavy, weighing in at more than 6 pounds. The door knobs have an ornate"DB" which is surrounded by a ring of cool beading. It appears to be in working order but needs to be refinished, in my opinion. Such a great looking set! Antique Sargent Entry Door Hardware Lock Plates Pulls Escutcheon
This set of antique brass entry door hardware consists of a large exterior door plate. An interior door escutcheon, an interior key escutcheon, two entry-sized knobs, the lock, the original screws with the exception of 1 small one for the key hole plate, and a long spindle from another door. The round door escutcheon is cast and the exterior door plate and the key escutcheon are heavy stampings. There is pitting on the outdoor components as can be seen in the pictures. There are some scratches on the plates from removing several coats of paint mechanically and from wear over the years. The door knob mechanism is operational but it does not quite retract all the way. It's been cleaned up some on the inside but not oiled. The door plate measures 2 1/4" x 9 1/4" The lock plate is 1 1/8" x 7" The backset to the centerline ... moreof the knob is 2 7/8" The knobs measure 2 1/2" across and are quite heavy. One of the shafts has been pounded with a sharp object at some time as can be seen in the 4th picture. The hardware has not been recoated.

Doorknob set is really a bunch of mixed parts. Each with some beautiful ornate detail, the white knob is a weighteir metal(magnet sticks) and measures about 2 1/2 inches across, the other knob I believe may be brass(magnet does not stick) also measures 2 1/2 inches across, magnet does not stick to the large back plate either, this has holes for two keys and measures 2 3/4 x 10 inches, hidden in between(I almost midded it) is a brass/ magnet does not stick) round rosette dress plate for knob, measures 2 1/2 inches across ~ last is teh lock plate, not tested, exposed edge is 6 3/4 inches in length and 1 inch across ~ these are not reproductions and show age, wear, paint and traces of rust ~ great for restoration or creative art and upcycling projects!
