Vintage/ Antique APC 4 Piece Ornate Brass Door Set Inside stamp– APC 1013 Description: This is a beautiful 4 piece ornate brass door set. It is used but could use a good cleaning. Knob plate– 9 inches long x 1 ¾ inches wide(at widest) x 1 inch thick(at thickest) 3& 9/16 inches between holes long x 1 ½ inches between holes wide Acorn like design at the top and bottom. Framed rectangle in center with bunches of grapes above and below knob hole. 4 holes for screws on sides. 1 slightly larger hole on top just above the bottom acorn. Top and Bottom side pieces– 2& 3/16 inches long x 1 ¾ inches wide(at top) 1& 3/8(at bottom) x 1 inch thick-Vise versa for bottom piece. 1 ½ inches between holes wide Appearance of a pillar top. Vintage Ornate Solid Brass Door Finger Touch Plate Large 20 Inchs
2 vintage solid brass touch finger plates. I used some copper cleaner on a small spot on back and it almost looks like copper, but we will say brass. These are 20 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide. Very heavy and ornate. They are in great condition. Patina intact. This is one of the vintage Farm items and Primitives recently picked up at an old Merriville Indiana estate that was being auctioned off at the site of what was Family Farm, the home was built in 1872 and many old items were stored here for years till the last family member passed at 99 years old. There are many images so please scroll down to view them. This auction is for a total of ten. Which would be 5 sets, all matching solid brass door hardware plates that would fit behind the door knob. Each has the same design and approx dimensions are 7 5/8" tall x 2 1/2" wide. They all have the original patina on them and I have not cleaned them. The original screws are with them for all but one set. They have the key hole and attached ring area where knob would fit in. There are no knobs are keys just these ten nice brass plates. Lot of 3~Vintage ~ Brass Ornate Victorian Door Back Plates~ Door Handle Hardware
Up for bids tonight is a nice Lot of 3 Victorian Door Back Plates. From what I was told. These Door Plates came out of an old Church Building but I cannot say for sure. There are 3 Plates in this Lot. The 2 End ones measure Approx. 1 3/4" inches Wide by Approx. 6 3/4" inches in Length. Back Side reads: RHCo WINDSOR. Please take notice that one of these Plates has a raised rim around the Door Knob insert and the other is flat. The Middle Plate measures Approx. 1 3/4" Wide(at its widest point) by Approx. 6 3/4" inches in Length. As you can clearly see in photos. These all show rust and wear to the finish. This listing is for TWO ANTIQUE/ VINTAGE BRASS FACE PLATE POCKET DOOR LOCKS w/ DEAD BOLT. The lock are in very good +++ used condition. Sorry. But no keys available. One lock has RHG stamped in a circle& the other one is unmarked. Both steel locks are approx 3 5/8" high& 3 1/8" deep by 9/16" thick and the brass face plates are 5 1/4" high by 7/8" wide. This group of 14 matching Victorian backplates date from around 1900. All match but 12 are made of stamped brass and 2are stamped steel. In as found used condition. All originally have a copper plated finish with 11 having strong copper while one of the brass and both steel plates having darkened(see pics) with a darkened and aged finish. set 2 ornate vintage copper wash door push finger plate Saxonia 520 cast brass
A set of 2 push plates with a copper wash type finish. The plates are apr. 2 3/4 inches wide and apr. 10 1/2 inches tall. When scratched on the back side they appear to be made of cast brass. On the back they are marked Saxonia 520. I am not familiar on the proper way to clean this type of finish. so I kept my hands off. There is paint on the edges and the face of the plate. Scratches. The plate measures 11 3/4" long x 2 3/4" wide at the widest part. The holes are about 3 3/16" on center. The top/lock hole is 1 7/16" in diameter and is 4 3/4" on center from the top.
