Set Antique Pocket Door Hardware Locks Plates Pulls
This set of antique pocket door hardware consists of four brass-plated door plates and two locks with brass-plated plates. The locks are operational. Pushing the button in the face causes the pulls to protrude. The lock moves but there is no key. There are some scratches on the door plates from removing several coats of paint mechanically and corrosion in many spots where the plating has been worn through. The lock plates appear to have been scratched through to the steel extensively in past years. See the 3rd picture. The plate on the receiving lock has been bent around the opening where the curved lock shaft engages the plate. The receiving lock is marked Corbin. These door plates measure 2 3/8" x 7 3/4" The lock plates are both 1" x 7 5/8" The backset to the centerline of the key is 2 3/4" The hardware has not ... morebeen recoated.

There are 3 pair of antique Victorian door knobs. Two pair are of steel and one pair is most likely bronze but might be brass. All 6 have the same pattern. The knobs measure 2 1/4" in diameter. With a 5/8" shank. Spindles and screws are included. The bronze knobs have visible dents and small gouges and they could take some additional polishing. Some of the steel knobs have slight dents. They have been cleaned up but not been recoated.

This is a set of six 6 Victorian Back Plates. They are in as found condition They measure 7 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches They are a matched set. I am not sure of the metal. They are sturdy and slightly heavy. There is some surface rust on the back of some of these. The front of some of these have a copper finish or hints of a copper finish. They need some work. But this is a very nice matched set of 6. Set of antique door backplates. I think they are made of steel? There is a small amount of rust. Mostly on the backside; they could use some polishing or cleaning with fine steel wool. Three Mortise Locks by Russell & Irwin never used and at least 15 years old
These Russell& Irwin Mortise locks are in excellent condition. I bought them over 12 years ago and I don't think they have ever been used. I would guess they were made in the last 20 years. Two of the locks are for mounting in one direction and the third is for mounting the opposite way. The mortise face measures 5 1/8 x 15/16 inches. The lock is 3 1/2 inches high and 3 inches deep. Included are striker plates for two of the locks which are 4 1/4 inches long. I do not have keys for the locks. As the photos show the locks are finished in brass.

Large Metal Doorknob Plates - Hollywood Regency style
Please click on the large photo to open the window showing all the photos in the largest size. This pair of metal door knob plates is very Hollywood Regency in style. They came out of a Dallas estate from a very cool and glamorous house in a neighborhood of houses that were built in the 1940s-1960s. They are some type of very heavy metal. I don't know what kind as they have been painted more than once. As you can see. They are a bit different in size. I don't know if that is an artifact of them being hand made or what. They are close enough in size that they look fine together. Or if the slight difference bothers you, you could use them separately on a two single doors rather than on a double door. Or perhaps they are meant to be off size a bit to allow for the gap that naturally exists between two doors in a double-door setup. Perhaps ... morewhen they are installed, the small separation makes them look like they match up perfectly. If you know what I mean. I thought these were escutcheons but I guess escutcheons technically are keyhole plates. These are doorknob or door handle plates. This is a great antique Eastlake thumb latch door handle measuring 3 1/2" tall by 2 3/8" high by 4 1/2" deep. It is in what I consider to be very good condition for its age with only some typical wear(see pictures) I recently acquired this along with many other fine vintage and antique items that I am also offering here.
