set of hardware for a pair of antique pocket doors c. 1885. they are cast bronze. the 4 door plates are marked 6844 on the back. They are 4 3/4" x 2" have a recessed key well. one is slightly bent at the key hole but looks fine. the other pieces are a left& right insert for the doors edge, one is convex& one concave so that they fit together if the door is closed. they are made by norwalk lock co. the black box is just over 5 1/4" x just over 3" the long bronze front piece is 7 5/8" x 1 1/8" very nice set. original old patina remains, i did not polish them. i do not have the key. usa only. paypal. RARE Victorian Eastlake Door Knob Back FACE PLATES 1880-1905 ANTIQUE Escutcheons These are two hard-to-find Victorian Eastlake door plates. These escutcheons are cast iron originally brass plated. Circa 1870-1905. They are heavy cast door plates. Condition is very good. No rust. No paint or varnish. They still have a good deal of their original brass plating whick in its current state is a warm aged brass. One is missing the reducer in the center of the doorknob collar where the spindle goes through(easily replaced with a washer) The other has an original mold flaw on its square door knob collar. They are completely ready to install. These plates measure 5 1/2" tall by 1 3/4" wide. It is 2 1/8" from the center of the round part of the keyhole to the center of the doorknob well. Corbin CEYLON Antique DOOR KNOB BACK PLATES C1905 Antique Victorian Eastlake This are original P.F. Corbin door plates in the"Ceylon" pattern. This Ceylon pattern is heavier in geometrics than the 1895 Ceylon pattern and was featured in Corbin's 1905 catalog. These plates are pressed steel. Cond ition is excellent. No paint. No rust. No cracks or chips. Design is sharp and crisp. Perfect mounting holes. Clean door knob wells and key holes. No chips, tears or rough edges. These are thick heavy plates. They have minute original mold flaws common to hardware this old, it only adds to their character. These plates measures 5 1/2" tall by 1 5/8" wide. It is 2 1/4" from the center of the round part of the keyholes to the center of the doorknob wells. The key holes are 11/16" tall. The doorknob wells are 3/4" ... morein diameter. We accept Paypal. Pair Corbin Ceylon Bronze DOOR KNOB BACK PLATES 1895 Antique Victorian Eastlake
This is a pair of original P.F. Corbin door plates in the"Ceylon" pattern. This Ceylon pattern was featured in Corbin's 1895 catalog. These plates are solid. Heavy CAST BRONZE. Condition is excellent. No paint. No cracks or chips. Design is sharp and crisp. Perfect mounting holes. Clean door knob wells and keyholes. No chips, tears or rough edges. We love their patina, but because it is solid bronze it may be polished to your liking. These plates measure 5 1/2" tall by 1 9/16" wide. It is 2 1/4" from the center of the round part of the keyholes to the center of the doorknob wells. One key hole is 5/8" tall with a 3/4" diameter door knob well. Antique vintage Victorian ornate doorknobs & door plates backplates w/locks
these are vintage pressed steel backplates with matching door knobs. this complete set came from a turn of the century bldg. all items shown came from the same door. backplates measure 5-1/2 x 1-5/8 inches. the main latch/lock mechanism measures 3-3/4 tall 3-1/8 deep and faceplate measures 5-1/4 x 7/8 inches. no striker in this lot.
