Arts& Crafts style, pocket door pulls made by"Yale& Towne" of Stamford, CT around the turn of the previous century. They are made of stamped steel and were originally brass plated. Most of the brass has remained, but there are a few spots were it has worn away giving them a nice, distressed touch. The pulls were salvaged from central Missouri. At the point of salvage. The pulls were found dirty, lacquered, and heavily tarnished. Since then, we've cleaned them to the best of our ability, trying to preserve as much of the brass plating as possible. This is a pair of antique Victorian door knobs having an egg and dard pattern. One is of brass and one is of steel. The knobs measure 2 1/4" in diameter. With an 11/16" shank. There are slight dents in the face of the brass knob. They have been cleaned up but not been recoated.

There are 3 pair of antique Victorian door knobs. Two pair are of steel and one pair is most likely bronze but might be brass. All 6 have the same pattern. The knobs measure 2 1/4" in diameter. With a 5/8" shank. Spindles and screws are included. The bronze knobs have visible dents and small gouges and they could take some additional polishing. Some of the steel knobs have slight dents. They have been cleaned up but not been recoated.

This is a hard-to-find Victorian Eastlake design by P.F. Corbin. This is the"Canton" design. c1905. Very ornate. This is a pressed steel plate with bronze plating. The bronze plating is now warmly distressed. Condition is very good. No cracks or breakage. No chips. No paint. No rust to the face. But there is miniscule oxidation on reverse. No bending or warping. Design is crisp and clean. Door knob collars are nice and round(no bends/chips) key holes are clean without rips or tears. Measure 5 1/2" tall. They are 1 7/8" wide. It's made of stamped steel, and has a lovely oval form with beaded trim and a crown motif above the knob collar and acanthus leaf motif below the keyhole. Originally. The escutcheon was was completely copper plated and finished with a black lacquer(Japanned" However, some of the lacquer and some of the copper wore off over the years, leaving the parts with a nice, distressed, finish. The plate has been cleaned of paint. Dirt, and build up, leaving some of the patina within the crevices and around the details to enhance the beauty of its design. The beauty of the plate is only equaled by its impeccable condition! There are no breaks. Cracks, chips, dents, ... moregouges, or deep scratches. Penn Antique Restoration. Pair of 2.5"x10" Antique Cleaned Copper-plated Steel Push Plates. Elegant. Antique push plates salvaged from Northeastern Mississippi. They are made of solid wrought steel and have beveled edges. Originally. The plates were copper plated, but some of the copper wore off over the years leaving them with a nice, distressed finish. At the point of salvage. The plates were found dirty and rusty(see last photo) Since then, we've cleaned them to the best of our ability, trying to preserve as much of the plating as possible. Fantastic steel/antique brass door plate and knob set!
Here's a very handsome door plate and knob set that makes any door special. Set includes 2 knobs. 2 rosettes/back plates, with screw-on spindle that allows for different door's thickness. Lots and lots of bubbles in the glass knobs(pics 4 7 5) that measure a large 2.5" diameter, same as the rosettes. Knobs are embellished with decorative crowns(pic 2) a dramatic finish to this awesome set. These are heavy, weighing about 1.5 lbs or so. Penn Antique Restoration. Pair of 3"x12" Antique Cleaned Steel Push Plates. Handsome. Antique push plates salvaged from Northeastern Ohio. They are made of solid, heavy, steel and have beveled edges. These plates were removed from a big. Beautiful pair of doors(see last photo) At the point of salvage, the plates were found painted and dirty(see 2nd to last photo) Since then, we've cleaned them to the best of our ability. Considering that the pieces were probably touched hundreds or even thousands of times. They are in great shape. Both plates have slight scratches here and there, but neither plate has any breaks, cracks, chips, dents, or gouges.
