Up for bids is a very nice Estey Portable Organ Chaplain Pump Organ WW ll vintage 29 keys. Very nice estate find the man told me that he got it from his grandfather who said it was used in WWII. Still plays nice. One of the latches that keeps it closed is broke. The pins that hold it up don't look to great and one is missing also it looks like they were left open and it scratched the inside on both side where it folds. Please view photos. Vintage Peerless Pump Organ
The item you are purchasing is Peerless Organ Mfg. in Chicago by the Uoley and Williams Mfg. CO. it is a Pal Pipe tone action. This organ has been in the family for 70 plus years. And the owner had to go to the nursing homne and no one had room for it would like to fine a good home for it. It plays and has a great tone. Will need to pick up at my location.

Vintage 1871 Estey Reed Pump Cottage Organ Good Condition! Serial Number 33335
This is an antique pump/reed organ made by Estey Co. in Brattleboro VT. I have tried to figure out when this was made and have not been successful. It does have the number 5525 on the back if that means anything. I also do not know what kind of wood this is made of. But the wood itself is in excellent condition. And also has some pretty carvings, see the pictures below. The keys have yellowed over the years. This belonged to my great grandma and I hate to get rid of it but I do not have the room for it anymore. The only things I have done to this is replace the fabric on the pedals. Had new straps made for the pedals, but those have now come off and I have conditioned the wood many times over the years. It does work when the straps were in place but I am sure it needs to be tuned. Measurements are: 46" wide, 22" in depth and 38-1/2" ... moretall. Vintage George A. Prince & Co. Melodeon Pump Organ
George A. Prince& Company Manufacturers- 200 Main Street. Buffalo This is very good condition for it's age and is a working pump organ. This could be used at special events indoor and outdoor gatherings such as outdoor weddings. I did not see a paten date and i do not know the approx age. But i would guess 1920's to 1940's The organ works very good but the wooden rods that fit in the foot pedals don't seem long enough. maybe I was installing the roods wrong, I don't know) But I was able to test it to make sure the bellows work, and they work very well, the second I started to pump it made musical notes. This is antique so it is not in perfect cosmetic condition but is still in great shape for the age of it. When it was tested, every key worked. Karn portable pump organ from the 1880's/1890's. it is ready to play. it's a great looking museum piece.there are a few chips on the top and bottom. But i would consider that very minor for its' age. it is 4 octaves and all of the keys are level and they all work, no'weird sounding'keys. the foot pedals work and the volume levers work, though it is certainly primitive. it weighs over 50 pounds, even though it is portable. it folds into its' own wooden case and has a handle.a great little pump organ to play and display.Pickups are welcome!

Up for bids here is an amazing vintage WWII Estey Pump Organ. It is very. Very rare to find one in original condition. It still has the original olive drab green covering. A lot of the organs I have seen were used after the war and players would refinish them. This one looks to have not been used in 50 years, although it is functional. It still has its original Army markings. For the past few years it has been on loan to the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. Vintage Prescott Bros. 1860's Rosewood Melodeon (Pump Reed Organ)-working bellow
You are bidding on a beautiful vintage melodeon manufactured by Prescott Brothers of Concord. New Hampshire. For those not familiar, melodeons are small pressure type reed organs which were built in the United States around 1840 mainly by builders in New England. This means that as a reeded instrument, the melodeon is a"woodwind" The melodeon is the forerunner of the more familiar pump organ reminiscent of an upright piano case, and was built from about the mid-1840s to the early 1870s. Many of the larger ones looked like the small and typical early horizontally arranged square pianos. Some were actually advertised to be in a piano style case. These are wind instruments with brass reeds to create the sound of an organ. One characteristic of this type of instrument is that it only has one pedal to power the bellows system. The other ... morepedal exists to control the dynamic sound volume. The Prescott name goes back as far as the 1830's in America's organ and melodeon building history. Originally founded by Abraham Prescott in Concord. New Hampshire, the firm started out building organs and melodeons as well as various different strings instruments. During the mid-19th Century, sons Abraham Jr. and George Prescott became part of the firm and instruments were built under the name of Prescott Brothers. This melodeon is from the 1860's. And has its original manufacturers label from Prescott Brothers. It has a solid rosewood case, and measures approximately 38"l x 21"w x 30"h. With 61 keys(36 white/ 25 black) it helps date this unit as a predecessor to the organ, and is a fine example similar to the two that are on display at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston(http:www.mfa.org/collections/object/melodeon-548618) as well as the Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad, CA(http:www.museumofmakingmusic.org/organs) The fantastic news is that the bellows system appears to work. Vintage Harmonium Hand-Pump Organ in a Suitcase
Your bidding for a Used Vintage Harmonium hand-pump organ in a suitcase. The language is from India on the label so I would assume that is where it is made. Nice item that still works with a pump in the back and the keys to play with different air levers to adjust for different tones. Pump with right or left hand and play with the other. Organ raises out of the suitcase to play and the suitcase becomes the base for the instrument. Top Reed cover is removable for access to the reed levers and reed. A small circular watermark in the wood center about 3/4 of a circle the size of a glass. I could not buff it out of the finish, but you really have to look for it on an angle to see it. finish is still a nice shape and brite luster. Age is unknown I could not find a date on here. But research shows instrument to be of the 60's or 70's period ... morefor style and use. Compact size size suitcase model is 22 X 14 X 7 Minor scratches on the High Luster Polyurethane natural plywood case with Diamond plate edging. Sturdy handle with to locking latches and 1 key included. Bellows is in outstanding shape for the age and no holes were found when inspected. 22 white keys and 15 black keys 7 air levers on front of box. Spring load access to raise instrument out of the box and the suitcase becomes the base. Buyer pays for shipping 35.00 USPS Parcel insured package. Vintage Worcester Pump Organ & Stool
Worcester Pump Organ. Vintage, made by the Worcester Organ Co. Worcester, Massachusetts. 6 ft 2" tall 4 ft wide 23" deep Decorative piece on top is detachable and is held in place by two small pegs inserted into holes. 1 of these pegs is missing but the piece will stay in place with one or can be easily repaired. Really cannot guarantee the working condition. We did try pumping the pedals and could make some sound come out but sorry, we are not organ experts. We are including the book Restoring and Collecting Antique Reed Organs by Horton Presley for your reference. Organ looks like walnut. But maybe that is just the stain used on the wood. Also the original stool is included with the organ- it may have been reupholstered along the way. Vintage 1950's/60's Orcoa Electric Pump Organ, Made in Italy, Reed Instrument
I am listing this as parts or repair. It is fully functional. However a few of the keys are slow to respond and not as loud as they should be. This is a real unique instrument. It has a motor that spins a turbine under a shroud that draws air through the individual reeds for each key. The keys are like that you would find in an old concertina squeeze box. The majority of the keys are just fine with only a few not correct, and the ones that are fine sound like nothing that can be duplicated by any modern digital organ. Cosmetically it is in great shape for it's age with a few melt marks on some of the keys. The brand is Orcoa and is made in Italy. Look at photos closely. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ON THIS. This auction is for a United States Organ Co. pump organ in good condition. I couldn't get some of the high keys to work. But most of the keys work and sound good.
