The inside is marked Antonius Stradivarius Cremona Germany faciebat Anno 1720 and has a A/S logo. It is made of a beautiful tiger stripe maple wood. It has a signed bridge but I cant make out exactly what it says it looks like Okeshen or Qkeshen possible that the k is an r. Absolutely beautiful sound the tuners seem to work fine some light age wear but overall in good condition for its age. In a GSB original coffin case with original paper it has some age wear shown in pics. It also comes with a nice bow in also good vintage condition. I am not an expert so please take a look at the pics and feel free to ask questions. MAHOGANY CHIME TREE POSSIBLY ONE OF A KIND. SOLID MAHOGANY WITH ORNATE BRASS METAL WORK There is no evidence of a maker or date on this chime tree but i believe it was made somewhere around the turn of the century. The workmanship is well done. Showing beveled edging on the base and a tapered cap at the top of the column. The finish of the wood is original but has a little discoloration at the mid-section of the main column where perhaps someone tried to clean it years ago. This surface condition is in no way objectionable and blends in well enough that it hardly warrants a need to mention All the measurements given are approximate This chime tree consists of six 1” diameter solid brass tubular chimes that are cylindrical in shape. Each tube has different lengths starting from the longest which measures 18-7/8” long to the shortest which ... moreis 13-7/8” Each graduating down in size loosing 1” each in succession the chimes do not show any dings and have beautiful functional sound Height: 6’ 2” tall. Column: 2-3/8” square. Base: varying from 16-1/2” to 21-1/2” respectively due to its unique shape. Very Rare Handbells, This auction consists of 10 brass handbells made by the Mears Co. Which is known as Whitechapel Bell Foundry today. The Mears Family ran this business between 1781-1865. Seven of the bells have the Mears name and three may not(can't see the mears name) The leather straps have the Whitechapel logo. One of the leather straps needs to be replaced. All of the bells need to be cleaned. One of the bells is missing a leather piece that contacts the inner bell, its in the photos. I am not a musician or very knowledgeable about these items. I purchased a full set of strings but never had them installed. The harp would need to be refurbished to hold fully tuned strings. This"HARTMAN HARP" is one of only four ever hand crafted by the Hartman family of Germany. Marlene Hartman was born in Germany and migrated to the United States in the 1800's. There she met and married Frank J. Holtz. A native of Frankfurt, Germany. Music was an important part of the Hartman family and upon a return visit to Germany, Marlene, ... morean accomplished harpist, was given one of the family heirlooms, the"HARTMAN HARP" It was lovingly created by one of Marlene's ancestors known for his exceptional craftsmanship of fine musical instruments. He was known to produce only four such harps. The location of the remaining three"HARTMAN HARPS" has been lost to history. This"HARTMAN HARP" was rediscovered after languishing for years, forgotten in a descendant's attic. The Harp has remained in the possession of one or another Hartman/Holtz family member for the last 200 years. It now waits restoration and is offered to an aficionado of fine antique harps. This monochromatic harp is very solid and intact. It is in excellent antique condition. It holds 54 strings and measures approximately 62"high. 32"wide, and 16 1/2" deep. It is framed in a solid wooden frame. The frame is gold colored and is very sturdy. The piece measures 37” wide and 22” high.

This sale is for a highly detailed and fancy. Possibly Victorian era, antique metal piece. I'm not sure what it is. At first I though an andiron but there is no evidence of a log holder ever having been attached. Perhaps a stanchion for something like a music stand maybe? Whatever it is, it's quite old and appears to be hand done. Hopefully the photos will show enough. It stands about 19 1/2" high and weighs 8 1/2 pounds. The gold circle at the top is not rust. It's a gold colored metal. The center is a Doric column and below that are detailed figures of cherubs playing various musical instruments. The feet are highly reticulated claw feet. The only mark I could find is a number etched on the side of the base.

There are three medium size described as follows: all have 11 holes and each weight approx. 1lb. embossed on them is C6, D5( E4, I believe it must indicate, pitch or sound. The small size also has 11 holes and is marked C1 or 4, hard to read. Lastly, the large Ocarina has 9 holes and is marked I7 or 17 and is approx. 5lbs. This is a pair of antique gilt and enameled opera glasses by Le Maitre of Paris. Circa 1900. The body is enameled in deep royal blue with hand painted cherubs holding musical instruments( on the front and musical trophies of a mandolin and a bagpipe( The signed eyepieces are mother of pearl. The gilt brass is very good with no major wear. The optics are good with some separation on the periphery of one field lens but not affecting the use. They measure 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 inches. I will be selling a collection of approximately thirty five opera glasses. Spy glasses, prospect glasses, and monoculars over the next few weeks. This is an original china fairing which is a little box with musical instruments on the lid. These little pieces were souvenirs from fairs in England and were usually made in Germany. It has no marks as to its origin. It has the remnants of gold decoration n the front of the base. There is a little chip on the underside of the"lute" which shows in the photo of the upside down lid. Otherwise it is in good condition. It is 3" tall with the lid on and 2& 3/4" across the base.

Antique Fireplace Front - Medieval Renaissance Musical Instruments
This is a beautiful cast iron"summer front" from the late 1800's. They were popular to close off the fireplace opening when not in use. The image is of two medieval or renaissance musical instruments. Probably a lute and a lyre. It is 20" wide by 25" tall, weighs 22 pounds and has a sturdy hook on the back for display on your wall. The casting number on the back is 262. The finish is black paint, but could be stripped to reveal the original finish if wanted. Usually these fronts have an ornate flash finish of bronze or copper.

3 Antique C.MAHILLON BRUXELLES Musical Instruments Euphonium?Baritone?Trumpet?
This listing is for all 3 musical instruments found in one estate. I am not a musical instrument type person and am not exactly sure what they all are. I did research a little. But please do your own to verify. All are marked C.Mahillon Bruxelles w/ Voglas. I think marching band type from Brussells. All are marked with an"H" which I think is a date code for 1908 but please check. The smallest is approx. 18 1/2" long and is marked#15. The medium is approx. 22 1/2" long and is marked#151. The largest is approx. 23 1/2" long and is marked#360. The insignia on each instrument is I believe the coat of arms from Brussells so maybe they are possibly military marching band. All have scattered small dents, the 2 largest really not that bad at all. The worse with dents looks like the smallest one. Two of the instruments have ... morebrass mouth pieces and one does not. To me they appear to be plated over brass, I saw just a few spots where the plateing was worn off. a magnet does not stick) There were no cases. A couple buttons are sticking down but I don't think it's a big deal. A friend did blow into the 2 with mouth pieces and there certainly was no problem there, I included all 12 photos you can enlarge, please take a look at them all,enlarge them, and that should answer most questions. Early Antique 1800's Brass Tuning Fork for Musical Instruments VERY OLD!!
Antique Tuning Fork Here is a super old antique brass tuning fork that I would guess was from the mid to late 1800's. I did not see any maker's markings. Or any marks to indicate what key it is in, anywhere on the tuning fork. There is what appears to be an old price sticker from an antique shop? on the handle which is marked: Curio Centre- Rs 45/ No. 749" There is a US $5 bill in the pics to give you an idea of size. I have other vintage items also listed. Please note: item came from a smoker's estate if you have allergies. Very nice condition with nice old patina to the brass.there is one small piece broken off of the handle just where the forks meet the handle that must have broke off long ago since the spot where it is broken is very dark and smooth(see pics for condition) Tuning fork measures approx 7 inches long. SET OF 10 ANTIQUE CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS. ANGELS WITH MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS, MADE IN GERMANY This set of adorable angels or cherubim playing musical instruments feature an amazing amount of detail. They were created from plastic. Or more likely, bakelite. The hair, faces, arms and legs all appear to be hand painted, plus there is gold painted trim on the wings and parts of the instruments. There are variations in facial expressions and hair styles, too. Some of these are slightly soiled(and I'm afraid to clean them! but otherwise these ornaments are in wonderful condition, with no cracks or chips. A couple of these are marked"Made in Germany Western" as opposed to"West Germany" or even"Western Germany" I believe that means they were made in the Western Zone of Germany right after WWII. Sometime between 1945 and ... more1949. The sizes range from 2" high to 4" for the ones with the glitter stars attached. I found these charming ornaments at an estate sale.
