Vintage Harmonica, AKA ..."French Harp", collectable
This ventage/ collectable harp was made in Germany. In the USA zone most likely 1945-46 era when the defeated Germany was split up after the war into three zones, United States, England and the Sovet Union. Plays well but the metal case is SLIGHTLY rusty. The wood part is in good condition and the reeds seem to be good also. In one of the pictures you can still see the Germany- USA- Zone. There are two small(bumps? on each side easely fixed. I don't know if the rust can be removed or not. Shipped only within the USA.

Extremely Rare Antique Myanmar Saung Gauk otherwise known as a Burmese Boat Harp. These particular instruments rarely come up for sale and this one probably dates to the 1950's or earlier with all original silk rope and silk string. Later instruments used nylon. Overall condition is amazing with no damage or cracks to boat or neck. These instruments are very important to Burmese culture and when available make for great decorative pieces. After more than 4 years, this space has not shifted or increased at all. It has not affected the sound, nor the sturdiness of the instrument. I have owned this harp for several years and it is in fine. Playable condition. The best features are the beautiful wood and the rich sound it produces. It only has about 100 hours of playing time. You will be able to enjoy playing it for many years to come, and it makes a wonderful show piece in the home. I have very much enjoyed it, but decided to focus more on piano. This auction is for a VINTAGE PARAMOUNT HARP. Condition: This harp is vintage and used. It shows its age with some minor wear and tear but I don't think whoever had it was much of a"harpist" I'd say it was toyed with a bit and then put on a shelf. Then lots of time passed and somebody found it and brought it and sold it to us! There's one noticeable'scuff' on the top left of the yellow note label piece. This is visible in one of the pics. I'd also say that the bottom is not originally the way it is supposed to be. But I'm just guessing. There are two screws and it just doesn't look original to me. Gibson Kalamazoo Model 2 Tube Amp w Orig Dustcover 1965 Low S/N Harp Amplifier
Up for sale is my Vintage 1965 Gibson Kalamazoo Model 2 Tube Amp. Serial# 1908, with what I believe to be the Original Dustcover. This is the lowest serial# that I've ever seen for this model. Indicating that it was one of the first ever made. I've had this for some time and was planning on giving it a full refurb- replace the capacitors, any out of tolerance resistors, etc. but given the very low serial# I thought it best to first offer it in the condition in which it came to me, except for a quick shot of DeOxit to the pots. You'll note that the early production used a lot more Black Beauties than later models, for example- that's one reason I decided to leave it as is. To test it. I brought it up slowly on a Variac, with no surprises. It powered up and worked well, nicely amplifying the two test signals that I gave it(from ... morea Hi-Z mic and a DeArmond pickup) There was some intermittent hum and the tremolo worked great at first but then cut out- I didn't want to leave it up too long, so I didn't get to see if it would cut back in. If I were going to keep this and use it, I'd definitely replace the electrolytic filter caps and I might swap out one or more caps in the tremolo circuit- but that's up to you: I thought it best to give you the choice, rather than making it for you. Cosmetically. It's in very good condition, mostly due to the dustcover. There's the minor wear that you'd hope to see, some dings to a couple of corners. A little tarnishing of the metal handle covers and some minor lifting of the Tolex covering on the base- easily remedied. The dustcover is dusty- which it should be and shows a little wear, but overall both amp and cover are in splendid condition for their age. This model is loved by guitar players but is especially popular with Harp/ Harmonica players. It's not the best harp amp that I own- that would be my Masco ME27. But it's the best one that I'm prepared to part with right now- I've been waiting over a year to have my fun with

Vintage Gibson Falcon Amp 1968 Amplifier -Tube 12ax7 6BQ5 12 " guitar / harp amp
Heres a nice little amp that you don't often see. A Gibson Falcon. It makes a good guitar amp or harp amp. Its not super loud. Maybe 10-15Watts, but it has a great vintage tube sound. It has reverb and tremolo, and theres a foot pedal that pulls out to control both effects. The speaker is a newer Fender musical instrument speaker- 12 inches. Amp is in great shape for its age, some scuffs on its faceplate, some scuffs on its tolex but nothing major. PLEASE BE SURE TO READ: I have given the amp's good points. Now I want to point out its bad points. As you can see, one of the knobs is not the original, just wanted to point that out if you hadn't noticed. Also, the tremolo feature doesn't work very well. It produces a small amout of tremolo as apposed to none at all, but I do believe it should be deeper. It may need its tremolo ... morecircuit looked at. It may be as simple as the control itself or the oscillating transistor but I have not invested any time into it. Amp uses 12ax7 tubes and 6Bq5 tubes for finals. Obviously not a powerhouse so do not expect to keep up with the band with this little amp alone or you will be disappointed. Hope to find this a good home. Just got this little powerhouse National amp circa 1958/59. Needs a more serious clean-up. Works and sounds great with no bad noise, just some intermittent crackling on one of the input jacks, easy fix. This really surprised me when I tried it out, wasn't expecting such good volume and overdrive when wide open.

Here's another JiveBomber guitar amplifier: a fully refurbished and modified Knight tube amp chassis in a solid-wood cabinet with a great Knight(ElectroVoice) 12" 20 watt loudspeaker. The amp is late 1950s vintage. With a pair of Sylvania 7025/12AX7s, a pair of G.E. 6V6GTs, and an EZ80/6GW4 full-wave rectifier. The amp is hand-wired, featuring point-to-point circuitry. It's been upgraded with new capacitors and resistors, 1/4" jacks on the amp face for both input and output, and a grounded power cord for safety. The output transformer is multitapped for 4, 8, and 16 ohm cabinets; it's currently set to 8 ohms to match the cast-frame EV speaker. It's a shame that the Knight name has passed into history; their electronics were superb, and the fine construction of the amp reflects that. The entire package is roughly ... more17 inches square. And 11 inches deep. The tone is TWEED- the two 6V6GT tubes produce a great smoky blues tone, loud enough to gig with on a small stage. There aren't a lot of clean tones in this amp except at low volumes, but the overdrive is defined and thick-sounding. With your eyes closed, you'd swear it was a F*nder amp from the 1950s. Put a reverb pedal in front of it, and heaven is at your fingertips. My friend Mike Sabatini. Of MGS Sound Technology in Oregon(a tube amp guy with 40+ years experience and an E.E. degree from UCLA) reviewed my work on the underside of the chassis. He tested all the tubes, and pronounced them near N.O.S. and better-sounding than any new production glass. The entire cabinet except the baffle is built from solid western incense cedar. Which is lightweight, strong, and very resonant. The baffle is laminated solid wood with a real walnut veneer. I won't swear that the amp would survive being dropped off a 6 storey building, but it should last a long time, and look good every minute. This Triplett 30 is a Celtic harp built of walnut and is a wonderful sounding instrument. Reminiscent of the bell-like sounds of Patrick Ball. The harp's range is from low C to a high D. It comes from the factory with phosphor bronze strings, but is currently strung in yellow brass. Included is a standard factory set of bronze strings. It has cast bronze sharping blades on each string. And includes a sheepskin lined Colorado case, as well as a good supply of extra brass string. The harp is in nearly perfect condition. truly a beautiful instrument and would make an incredible present or wonderful investment for the person who wants to get into traditional Irish wire harp. Kanoune for parts or display or restoration. Kanoune is a string instrument found in Near Eastern traditional music based on Maqamat. It is basically a zither with a narrow trapezoidal soundboard. Nylon or PVC strings are stretched over a single bridge poised on fish-skins on one end. Attached to tuning pegs at the other end. Kanoune used in Turkey have 26 courses of strings, with three strings per course. It is played on the lap by plucking the strings with two tortoise-shell picks, one in each hand, or by the fingernails, and has a range of three and a half octaves, from A2 to E6. The kanoune also has special latches for each course, called mandals. These small levers, which can be raised or lowered quickly by the performer while the instrument is being played, serve to change the pitch of a particular course slightly by altering the string ... morelengths. While Armenian kanounes employ half-tones and Arabic kanounes quarter-tones, typical Turkish kanounes divide the equal-tempered semitone of 100 cents into 6 equal parts, yielding 72 equal divisions(or commas) of the octave. Not all pitches of 72-tone equal temperament are available on the Turkish kanoune, however, since kanoune makers only affix mandals for intervals that are demanded by performers. Some kanoune makers choose to divide the semitone of the lower registers into 7 parts instead for microtonal subtlety at the expense of octave equivalences. Hundreds of mandal configurations are at the player's disposal when performing on an ordinary Turkish kanoune. Aoyama 32 String Harp
This harp was used in the Harrisburg Harp Orchestra. It is a harp for all ages and is one that is good as a starter harp. It is missing one lever in the upper octave. I have never had a need to replace this lever because it is such a high note and is rarely used. Besides that the instrument is in great condition. With the harp I am including the stand. Vintage 1950's Premier 120 Amplifier. I am told this was primarily used for harps. We tested this with a guitar and it worked fine. All tubes do glow. When turning the knobs you can hear a bit of static. I have no idea the last time it was serviced. There are inputs on the back of the amp for multiple instruments and mic. I do believe all parts to be original. But I am not sure. There is a bit of peeling to the handle and the case. The back cover of the amp is not secured. Measures 22 x 16 x 10.
