For a 106 year old piece of music. Used to advertise Sterling Pianos, this is in very good condition. The fold is just beginning to separate and there are some rips along the edges, but the front cover images are very clear. Use the Zoom feature for a closer look at the music's condition. I wonder if there was a piano roll version of this music that could be played on Sterling player piano. Antique ca. 1920 JP Seeburg Piano Motor for Nickelodean or Orchestrion Pianos
I purchased this JP Seeburg electric motor at an auction over the weekend. It was made by Emerson and the plate indicates that it is a 1/6 HP. 110 volt, 60 cycle, 1150 rpm, MO9733. And under type it says"73620BE" single phase motor. It is dirty but does run and runs pretty quietly at that. To test it. I did add the white wires that go to the starter winding(see pic) as there was nothing attached to these terminals. I would estimate the motor is from the 1920's as Emerson was the premier fractional HP provider for a number of automatic piano companies. Including Seeburg. There is an adjustment knob on the case and I am not sure what this is for. Perhaps RPM's? If anyone knows. Email me and I will add it to the description. The title is BOOK OF COMPLETE INFORMATION ABOUT PIANOS. size is 11.25" x 11.5" It was published in 1916 and has 139 pages. It has many color. Full page illustrations of different models of the Wing Pianos and many black and white illustrations also. There are a couple paste-ins of price lists and they also put in loose leaf"spy-tube" with which you are supposed roll up and look at the color illustrations through. INCLUDED! For your consideration is an old advertising fan for Kohler& Campbell Pianos. It has a great old picture on the front and advertising on the back. I believe that the frame of the fan is some sort of silk screen. Very smooth. It is in very good condition. There is a small stain at 12 o'clock. The edges are in good condition with a few minor imperfections. The size of the fan is 9" down and across and 14" with the stick.

Mailing folds, some wrinkling of paper on right sides, one has blue ink graphics and the other, either a very dark blue or black. Both are in VG condition in our estimation for their antiquity and as seen in scans which we consider part of our description so please review before bidding. Blank on back but this is a thin, high quality and transparent parchment like/rice paper so you can see the graphics/writing from the backside as well. Measure about 8.5 x 11 inches. Antique WM A Miller Piano Co Sign William Miller Pianos 1852-1860's New York
This is an antique cast iron sign for the Wm A Miller Piano company. This company was around from 1852 to in the mid 1860's. He was a maker of very fine Pianos in New York at the time and for a year he was with the Haines Piano company before going out on his own. This sign is 20 1/2" long and 3 1/2" at the widest. It is in nice shape for its age with the black on gold coloring. I do not think it has ever been repainted. It has no chips or cracks some wear, which is consistent with age. This would have hung on the front of the Companies building mounted by the two holes that are in it with bolts to the wall. Wonderful Antique Advertising Measuring Tape. This is TAYLOR'S MUSIC HOUSE OF SPRINGFIELD MASS. Front show a view of the showroom displaying a Grand Piano with many other piano's on display. Primary colors are brown. Green and white. On the back it says CHICKERING PIANO" The oldest in America The Best in America" 168-170 State street Springfield Mass. No Makers name. Measure 1 1/2" across. This is a very clean. Very sharp image. No damage. The tape is in strong and measurements easily read. Tape will go back into case, but sometimes it needs to be done more than once. Chickering Pianos was established in 1823 with many changes of members remaning the Chickering name until it was sold in 1908 to the American Piano Co.
