Up for auction is a Krakauer Bros. player piano made around 1907 I believe. Some of the keys are sticking and not sure if it will play on its own because I am not sure on how this piano works. It does need some TLC. Hinges on the top are missing. Some of the keys are chipped and looks like some of the keys have been replaced. The lady that we are selling this for had around $5,000 worth of work done to it about 8 years ago. Witmark& Sons(artists own roll, the artist's own hand playing cut in the roll. All three are in good, used condition with slight wear from age. I do not see any major damage to the rolls. The boxes are worn on the edges. You can see these in the photo. All of these look just as the photo shows. The artist's roll box is alive with detail. Kimball Upright Player Quartersawn Oak Piano Offered here is a 100 year old piece of history. This player piano was manufactured in 1912/13 by Kimball in Chicago and bears the serial#245720. It was specially ordered by a local family who wanted to sing around the piano together. It remained in their farm living room until we purchased it in the early 1980s at their estate sale in Grenada. Minnesota. It was tuned right after purchase in the 80s and still isn't terribly discordant. It has a responsive touch and action. I find it easy to play. The case stands 57" tall and is in remarkably good condition. The finish has never been touched and the ivories are in perfect shape without nicks. Chips, or cracks. The player parts all function, but for the air tubes which drive the mechanism. We have the tubes for this repair but have not done ... moreit. There is one roll of music in the piano as visible in the photos. It is being offered with the stipulation Pick Up Only being a heavy piece of furniture. Written in 1855 by Louis Moreau Gottschalk He was born in New Orleans and had a Creole Influence from his Mother. In 1855. He signed a contract with publisher William Hall to issue several pieces, including The Banjo and The Last Hope. The Last Hope is a sad and sweetly melancholy piece, and it proved hugely popular. Milwaukee, vertical Grand French Repeating antique Player Piano with numbers on its interior reading 240728 40 and 74247. Waltham. Established in Milwaukee. Wisconsin. In 1885, was known for building exceptionally well made pianos, with emphasis on musical quality over aesthetics. Their player piano line was especially impressive, as they incorporated many highly innovated design techniques that were usually found only in higher quality conventional pianos. The Company built several brand names including Warfield, Waltham. Wilson. Electotone, Kilbourne, Auburn. Lincoln. Shorewood, and Oakland. In their last years. Waltham became part of the Netzow Piano Co. Before being discontinued in 1931. This player piano has a functional ... morekeyboard(last tuned about two decades ago) and piano roll playing capability, and has what appears to be a mahogany cabinet with some veneer in places. It is in, what appears to be, very good condition for its age other than a dusty interior, some chips on its legs and on the rear vertical edges including two small damaged areas on the bottom rear edges on both sides, a small horizontal chip in a strip of molding on the right side front above the keyboard, and damage to the left side rear caster position when it was moved to its current location in a dry finished basement. Antique 1921 Victor Player Piano w/ 101 Player Rolls
Beautiful upright antique Victor Chicago player piano made by the Bush& Lane Piano Company in 1930. Serial#47726. Piano was fully restored in January 1996 and is a gorgeous quartersawn oak finish. Player mechanism is both manual with foot pedals and electronic. System includes a transposer for pitch adjustment. All electronics are currently functioning. But the player system needs work(possibly the bellows) Wood finish is in great condition but does have some cracking in the lacquer on the end pieces only(see photo) All other surfaces are in near perfect condition.
