Up for bids is a very nice Estey Portable Organ Chaplain Pump Organ WW ll vintage 29 keys. Very nice estate find the man told me that he got it from his grandfather who said it was used in WWII. Still plays nice. One of the latches that keeps it closed is broke. The pins that hold it up don't look to great and one is missing also it looks like they were left open and it scratched the inside on both side where it folds. Please view photos. Other than that this is one of the nicest ones i have seen. All keys are in working order and no chips. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask. Estey 1904 reed organ
Antique Estey reed organ made in December 1904. It has been in the family since 1928 and still works. The bill of sale from 1928 and printed information for the organ are included. Also the round spinning seat. I played a few notes the other day and was shocked how good the bass notes sounded. One of the bass notes reminded me of some on Close Encounters. The movie. I think there is still some magic left in the old organ. If it doesn`t sell here, it may go to a small local church in need.

vintage 1966 magnatone mp-1. estey pro series era magnatone built in california. these amps were only made from'66-67. this amp was acquired from original owner and was a well taken care of amp.vintage point to point wiring with all orignal transformers. only modification was done as orignal power tubes are scarce 7189a's has been converted to el84's(this is a common modification on amps powered by 2- 7189's) with a fixed bias and solid state rectifier. preamp is 2- 7025's. reverb.Tremolo and phase inverter are 12au7's. 8 ohms output at 30 watts. has what seems to be original 12 inch speaker i believe it is an oxford number on speaker are: 12l6-xk516 and 328506.speaker sounds amazing and very strong. it has 2 channels. channel 1: 2 input jacks high gain and low gain with volume,treble, bass and reverb, footswitch input ... morejack. 2nd channel: mic input jack with volume and tone control. tremolo intensity and speed controls with blinking eye flashing for speed and footswitch jack. has normal and recording knob switch which in normal is full power and recording cuts the power or volume. has extension speaker output jack, off standby hum 1 and hum 2 control knob. also has dimmer knob for light behind face of amp. light does not function as common and replacement bulb is unavailable. has 3 prong power cord and back on amp has kickstand tilt back arm. serial number is missing as paper decal is long since gone.no tolex rips although bottom has wear and scuffs. faceplate of control panel has a crack in plastic where input jacks on 1st channel are located.this amp comes with rare original cover which is in good shape and still very useable. these amps were only made for 1 year and very rare. they sound similiar to an ac15. very clean and start to breakup around 5. knobs go to 8. also comes with original schematics. this is a vintage amp and in full working condition but being sold as is. sorry but i don not offer returns. please email with any questions. this item is being relisted as the winning bidde

ANOTHER CRAZY ITEM FROM SLAPPYS VINTAGE Magnatone 432 amplifier Description: Vintage Magnatone Tube Guitar Amp. by Estey Electronics Company. original Rola 12" Speaker Dates to 1966. 285645. pots Date to 1966, 304 66. please see all pictures. black tolex. original squiggle grill. all original an no modifications and in great shape for it age. Condition: Very good physical shape. Chassis is pretty clean and Looks nice. Stenciling in very good shape. original covering in great shape. no structural dammage or issues. grill is torn. the speaker has been repaired. amp lights up and works. But the reverb was not working- I noticed one of the RCA inputs was not plugged in on the tank so I plugged it in, when I did that it the amp made no sound- so the tank will need servicing- seems to work fine without the tank plugged in. the tremolo is working. ... moreit is an old amp so it has some pops and crackles. the pots are a little scratchy. I have not had this amp serviced so you may want to go through and clean up the electronics. Recone or replace the speaker- this amp is older than me so it may needs some filter caps or other service and if you do take it to an amp tech to check it out, guaranteed he will find something else wrong with it other than the reverb tank. it is his job to do that. So to recap. Very cool old unit- Hard to find, powers on and sounds good. may need service as it is old. VINTAGE 1960's ESTEY MAGNATONE 421 GUITAR AMPLIFIER AMP Description- Offering a vintage 1960's Estey Magnatone. Model 421 guitar amplifier. It measures approx. 19 1/4" long x 16" tall x 9" deep. Box is marked 30 watt but it has been suggested that this is a 3 watt amp. Sorry, but we have no guitar to test with. We were able to plug in a microphone& it did work however, there were some static issues. My guess is that it needs cleaned& serviced by a professional. Pictures show the 4 tubes in the back working. Knobs turn smoothly& switches flip with ease. There are a couple cosmetic issues to mention. The knob on the far right is missing the plastic decorative cap and the speaker screen is slightly loose at the bottom right corner& the top center. As usual w e know everything about this one. It has had a COMPLETE restoration by our top reed organ technician. In fact it is from his personal collection. W hen we restore something we do not want to go out on warranty repairs. We make sure that every piece of material that can deteriorate is replaced. That way we can warranty the antique instrument for one to five years and know it is VERY UNLIKELY that we will have to go see it for a free repair. The Philharmonic organ uses larger reeds than the standard organs and while they are not always louder they are fuller sounding. This organ has some major"Whomp" especially when you pull the Sub Bass on. This organ would be appropriate for a small church or chapel but would not overpower a living room. While originally this organ had a pump handle and a bellows system which used a second person to blow the organ as was standard 100 years ago. Decades ago somebody removed all that. They planned to add a vacuum cleaner to run the organ, which is never a good idea. Luckily he did not attach the vacuum cleaner which might have sucked out all the tiny reeds and damaged them. When Duane, my assistant got it he built new pedal feeders and reservoir just like an original would have had. Since the pump handle system was not there to restore, that has been left out. Vintage 1871 Estey Reed Pump Cottage Organ Good Condition! Serial Number 33335
This is an antique pump/reed organ made by Estey Co. in Brattleboro VT. I have tried to figure out when this was made and have not been successful. It does have the number 5525 on the back if that means anything. I also do not know what kind of wood this is made of. But the wood itself is in excellent condition. And also has some pretty carvings, see the pictures below. The keys have yellowed over the years. This belonged to my great grandma and I hate to get rid of it but I do not have the room for it anymore. The only things I have done to this is replace the fabric on the pedals. Had new straps made for the pedals, but those have now come off and I have conditioned the wood many times over the years. It does work when the straps were in place but I am sure it needs to be tuned. Measurements are: 46" wide, 22" in depth and 38-1/2" ... moretall. YOU ARE BIDDING ON SPLENDID Antique WWII Oak Estey Folding Chaplain's Pump Organ. It appears to be all original. It is approximately 12" Wide 32" Tall and 32" Long. It amazingly all folds into a 12 x 13 x 32" oak self contained wood box. This organ has 29 white keys and 20 black keys. The bellows appear to be all original& in fair condition. The organ does work when pumped. But it takes a bit of pumping so it seems some air must be leaking from the bellows. Original Estey lettering on the inside keyboard cover says"Estey Organ Co. Brattleboro Vt USA" This organ has wonderful quality dovetail construction. This organ was lovingly used by the chaplain. The left side of the top board has an old repaired crack on it also the under board which flips down to create the rear lower brace board has been repaired(see ... morepics) The keyboard is in very good shape with no chips or cracks in the keys. There is a small piece of wood missing on the lid(approx. 1/4"where one of the side brackets was attached. All in all. It is a nice period piece. This is a music book for portable cord organs. Published in 1965 I believe. It is in 8.5 x 11 format, softcover, with 80 pages. The book is in very good all around condition. It has a half-inch tear on the right edge of the cover, but is otherwise intact and glossy. All pages are well bound, clean and without tears or markings. The tablature pages with 72 pop songs show the music along with chord numbers and chord letters in circles. Please see the photo of the contents. For sale is a lot of Antique Pipe Organ Parts from an Estey Organ. These were salvaged from smaller organ. I was told it was a traveling unit. Everything pictured is included in this auction. Front plates, knee swells, pedal band rollers and one other part I am not sure what it is? The plate with the Estey printing is approx 2-1/2" w x 39-3/4" long. If not sure on a repair would make a nice sign display. The other plate with the holes is approx 3" wide x 39-3/4" long. The knee swells also have the original mounting brackets. Utilizing a pair of 7189 power tubes, one 12AX7 and one 12AV7, producing around 20-25 watts through a 15" Jensen C15P speaker. The simple volume-Tone control/ High-Low input design does not muddy the tone and produces excellent headroom with(about the same as a Deluxe Reverb) superb tone and break up. The amp is in very nice condition and just received a light servicing(pots, jacks, sockets cleaned) So, its ready to enjoy when it arrives. A great sounding amp. Estey portable pump organ. Organ is from 1940's and is in very good condition for it's age. Estey name upper left on music stand. Huston Baldwin Stores in lower right. The 2 knee levers are working. The keyboard is in good condition. There is a small round ding between 2 keys, see pic 8. The small cloth strap that held the music stand upright is missing from the left side, I have put something behind it to hold it upright in pic 1. You have to pump fast to get music out, bellows are leaking. Not very loud because of this. Pedals and straps good condition. Fabric covering has minor nicks and scratches(see pic 11 for worst tear in fabric) I believe the wood is oak but am not positive. It is certainly heavy enough. I have not seen an Estey portable organ in this good of a condition but I have only seen 3 so not a wide sample I'll ... moreadmit. Here we have an very elaborate Estey Walnut Reed Organ made in Barttleboro. VT in the late 1870's or very early 1880"s at best. If there is a serial number in the back it should not be too hard to determine the age of this heavy, heavy carved reed organ. Reed organ companies during this era made such massive cases as evidenced by looking at the very unusual side handles of this organ! Seller has never seen such handles like this. Organ will need complete redoing of its innards. The case should be rather easy to buff and polish up as it is probably the original finish. Original finish on furniture is the modus operandi these days as the days of stripping every antique in site and putting on the wrong finish. Is OVER! The internals of the organ have obviously all been removed but the pumps remain for decorative effect. Bookcases were first introduced in the 15th century and with few changes along the way to their design. The history of bookcases is indeed a simple and short affair. What cannot be argued with however is that books are as still supremely valued today as they were in the time of the Tudors but whether an organ has ever held books so competently is somewhat open to debate. For over 100 years. The Estey Organ Company manufactured organs large and small in Brattleboro, VT. Jacob Estey founded the Estey Organ Company in 1846 in Brattleboro, Vermont. Estey could sense a change in the American people, and was anticipating a shift towards a more music-centric society. When the company was first started, they specialized only in reed organs until 1901, when they hired a new organ builder and opened up a pipe organ branch. These included some 520,000 reed organs, 3200 pipe organs, and, at the end, a foray into the area of electronic organs. The humble bookcase turned on its head. 1898 Estey Pump Organ - No Reserve
1898 Estey Pump Organ Made in Battleboro.VT. This is a pump organ that is in beautiful condition for being 115 years old. I have seen a similar model on eBay with an asking price of $1200. The pumps and bellows are in perfect working order. It plays without any problems. It has a few minor problems that can be fixed; it does not have the piece to hold the sheet music. But you could easily have one made; a few keys(I believe 2 or 3) will need new plastics; you will need to buy/make/or find the stickers that go on the knobs(they were missing when I purchased this piece) there are a few nicks on the wooden cover for the keys(to be expected with the age. Other than those few minor details,it is in immaculate condition. My wife says we need the space. Due to the size this is local pickup only. The top can be removed for easier hauling. Estey Piano 1913
HI I have got a old Estey piano that I need to get rid of. It is 100 years old this year it works but some hammers stick and it is out of tune. I would love to fix it up but don't have the money to do so. Had a repair man look at it and he said it would cost about 150.00 to fix it and make it playable, he said that it was in good shape for it's age no cracks in the bridge or anything.

Up for bids here is an amazing vintage WWII Estey Pump Organ. It is very. Very rare to find one in original condition. It still has the original olive drab green covering. A lot of the organs I have seen were used after the war and players would refinish them. This one looks to have not been used in 50 years, although it is functional. It still has its original Army markings. For the past few years it has been on loan to the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History.
