This is a genuine Keith Prouse flute from the 1800s. Made in London. Good condition except smallest section(the one with the makers name on it) has an outside crack that runs about 3/4 the length of this piece. I felt with my finger inside and cannot feel the crack on the inside. This would be an easy repair at a woodwind repair shop. Pieces fit snugly together. The engraved piece reads: KEITH PROUSE Co. This listing is for a late 18th or early 19th Century dram drinking glass. It is blown of clear non leaded glass. And has a very slight pink tint, and tight horizontal striations. It has flute cutting on the bowl, and a double, annulated knop stem. The foot is slightly domed, and has a polished pontil. The vessel is 4.6" tall, and 2.5" across the top and foot. The Haynes Flute Co. Antique Wooden Piccolo w/Case. Black wooden piccolo(half flute) with plastic velvet lined storage case. The piccolo has a bit of a worn body. The keys look nice, no obvious damages to them. The keys also appear to be silverplated as they have a heavy patina to them. There are visible pieces of corkwood to the interior side of the windhole This measures apx. 13.5" Long. The s/n looks like it reads as: 921 T he entire trill key appears to be missing. In addition. Someone has informed me(a possible buyer) that he contacted Haynes directly about this year and type of piccolo, they said its a low pitch type, they couldn't be specific, but I wanted to share this with anyone who is interested in using it for creating music. Its a rare piccolo, I doubt another will be available for awhile, and I researched these early ... moretypes. Antique (c.1900) Ebony Piccolo Flute
This appears to be a Nach H.F. Meyer flute. But there are no visible markings on the flute. The pads appear to be in decent shape, the fit between the barrel and body joint is slightly loose. There is a crack in the head and barrel, but the body is free from cracks. The pipe below the head and barrel is not cracked, only the outer cover. The tuning cork is in good shape and moves freely.

The fife has 2 large holes. 2 medium holes and 2 smaller holes. The fife is stamped with an unusual bird and what looks like a CG under the bird.at the bottom there appears to be etched bands with a design. This looks to have been played as the patina around the holes is wonderful. This measures in length a scoch over 12" There are two small( we do mean small) dings which looks like they happened at the same time as they are alike. Antique Silver Flute Early 1900's by famous French flutemaker, Isidore Lot
This beautiful. Vintage flute has been in my possession since the early 1960's. A gift from a family friend, the flute is engraved"I Lot" with a lyre symbol above the signature. Isidore Lot was the nephew of famed French flute make Louis Lot who died in 1896. My research indicates this flute is early 1900's.It is stored in its original case and has not been refurbished. I have left it in its original condition to preserve the antique value.

Antique/Vintage Wooden Chanter? Snake Charmer's Flute? Reeded Instrument
Here is a very old musical instrument that I cannot identify. Perhaps an old wooden chanter for bagpipes. Or snake charmer's flute? This should be of interest to the musicologist/collector. It is about 13" long, made of turned wood with old black stain/paint. The pictures will show it has 8 bored finger holes each with metal reeds, a metal band around one end; a turned bell at the other. It sounds somewhat like a harmonica. I don't know if it is missing a mouthpiece or some other parts. It appears to be jointed at one point but I cannot pull it apart. Superb condition for age. The occasional surface scratch commensurate with age. No cracks or splits. All keys move freely. And I can play a three octave chromatic scale from middle C. However, the flute would benefit from a service. I am uncertain on the key material. But I suspect its silver. Age wise, I suspect the flute is circa 100 years old- perhaps a little older. Great opportunity to own a top class example of a blackwood Boehm flute manufactured by this important German instrument making family. The flute comes with a very tired old case. Brass wax capsule and a modern cleaning rod. Any inspection welcome prior to bidding.

Gorgeous Antique Penzel-Muller Silver Flute
For sale is a beautiful turn-of-the-century handmade solid silver flute from the Penzel-Muller Company of New York. I believe this flute was built around 1900 as it more closely resembles the high quality handmade flutes of the latter part of the 19th century than the more mass-produced instruments of later years. This is a truly amazing instrument with some of the most beautiful keywork and hand engraving that I have ever seen on a flute. The flute itself so closely resembles an Emil Rittershausen flute that I owned a few years back that I believe that this flute is either a close copy of a Rittershausen or was actually made by Rittershausen in Germany and then engraved and sold in the U.S. as a Penzel-Muller Like other flutes of this period. The sounding length of 588mm makes this a high-pitched instrument, but the placement of the toneholes ... moreso closely resembles that of more modern flutes that with the headjoint pulled 8mm, I was able to play it at a=440 with decent intonation. I lined this flute up against my early Haynes wood flute, and the keys appear to be in identical locations! This instrument is really in superb condition considering that is over 100 years old. Apart from a few dings on the finger support. The tubing and keywork are virtually unmarked. My photos really don't do this flute justice. The mechanism is smooth and quiet, and its tone is sweet and full. It plays much like the highly-prized silver Rittershausens it resembles. Comes with the original leather case in really nice condition for its age. A flute of this caliber comes along only now and then. This is your chance to add a great-playing. The fine item you are considering is a Vintage Antique Early 1800‘s.Large Wood Flute. I have lots of photos below. So be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this page to take a better look. This beautiful, very well made, antique flute has no maker’s name that I can find, but from the style of the flute and case, I’d say it dates to the early or mid 1800’s. The flute measures 27” long overall when assembled. The instrument has some issues, these being a very tight hairline/grain crack on the mouthpiece section, which looks old, is tight, and isn’t going anywhere, and it looks like there are a few springs missing. Of course, I can’t guarantee the pads on an instrument of this age, but overall the flute is solid and makes a great impression. Today we are offering a great antique Peruvian sterling silver cigarette case with a wonderful Llama and flute player sitting in the sun on the front side and a blank back side. Inside the case there is the original holders that I believe are nylon but i could be wrong. The case is in good usable condition measuring 3 1/2 inches length by 3 inches tall.It is marked on the inside PERU 925 and has a mark that i do not know that is a G with a six sided star on each side.
