Great sounding violin with bow and case included.
Hello. Thank you for looking at this violin. Im selling one of my violins from my collection. I acquired this violin from an elderly violinist after he retired. I played it for a couple of years and found very responsive and with great tone and projection. It doesnt have a label so i cant say what it really is, but the old man said it was a Guarneri hed bought a while back. Its a very fine violin but i dont use it that much since i have others. The strings it has right now are Red Label super sensitive, could use new better quality ones. The bridge will need replacement since its old. The pegs are complete, the only damage on this is a small part on the right side of the F hole and some fading on the back plate. Aside from that its in great shape. The violin comes with its original case and a bow. Again thank you for looking and good luck.

The winding or lapping is silver, and it has a new leather grip. The button is silver and ebony. The bow has been thoroughly cleaned, and the varnish refreshed to it's original sheen. It is perfectly strait, and has good camber. The lined bone tip is in good shape with no cracks or chips. There are no cracks to the stick and frog. She played it from the time she was a 6 years old until she passed away last year. she was 68 years old. I comes with strings, tuning harp, original key, two bows, and two things of rosen. My mother last played this in an orchestra in MO. She was very proud of this! It sounds really good, has all the strings and comes with the case and the bow which are in excellent condition as well. The violin doesn't have a single scratch, looks completely new. I originally payed around $400 for this violin. It's an Antonio Strads Model 4B.

I have here a violin and bow with case. The violin measures approximately 24 inches long. 8 inches wide at the widest part, and approximately 2 1/2 inches at the thickest part. Everything appears to be in working order. The label inside the violin: Conservarte Replica Antonius Stradiuarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1725 018 China. The bow measures 29 inches long. It is marked GLASSER on the end. I know nothing about violins. I did put the bow to the strings and was surprised that I was able to make an almost pleasant sound. It does come with the case which is in good used condition. The latches are all in good working order. This would make a great starter violin for that budding musician.
