The barometer is a Carrington. Which was made in England. And appears to be in working order. The copper starboard oil lamp is a Tung Woo, which was made in Hong Kong. And is in excellent condition for its age. Since there is a small light bulb installed in the oil lamp, I am also including the original oil burner for the starboard lamp. The 3 way light switch controls both the lamp and lantern, so one can light both lamps or just one of them. Vintage Very Large"Perko" Ship Lamps Port& Starboard Red& Green Fresnel Matched Pair Maritime Marine Boat Lamps/Lanterns Here's a matched pair of nautical lamps made by Perko of Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Brooklyn N.Y. U.S.A. The red and green fresnel lenses are in excellent conditions with some great bubbles from when the glass was formed. They are made of galvanized sheet metal with brass or copper tops and openings on the bottom. The galvanized metal is very solid with very little areas of surface rust. nothing major. These are original vintage Lamps dating from somewhere between the 1930's to the 60's based on their websites timeline. Actual manufacture date is unknown. The lamps are 18" tall. 22" tall with the handle extended, 10" wide and 18" across the front. I purchased ... morethese lamps 28 years ago with the intention of wiring them. They've been carefully stored indoors waiting for the project to begin. I never got around to wiring them. It's time to pass them along to a new owner. Bulbs and wiring or burners are not included. Lighted Bulbs were placed inside the lamps temporarily for photographic purposes to show how the lamps may look when illuminated. The gas burners weren't with them when I acquired them. Up for bid is a vintage bow marker light fixture complete with oil burner made by Kilborn-Sauer Co. Out of Fairfield, Connecticut. The body is galvanized and top is brass. The top has written on it KILBORN-SAUER CO FAIRFIELD CONN U.S.A. The body is in good condition. Near the top rear the lip has small tear. The brass top has a small crack where it attaches to the galvanized metal. No cracks visible in glass but both pieces have several chips on the external ribs. The burner looks to be in working order and the wick screws up and down. You can use kerosene or bottled lamp oil that is easy to find. The tank appears clean and dry( I have not added oil to it. Large Antique Nautical Lantern Vintage 5-way Green Ship Lamp Port& Starboard Used- Antique Nautical Lantern This lantern has some discoloration around glass and on seams. Pictures reflect a bent spot along one of the upper seams. Approximate size is 14.5" tall including carry handle by 9" wide. This lantern has NOT been converted to an electrical light. I have included the lighted pictures so you can see the brilliance of the green glass. Glass does not have any cracks or major scratches in them. The glass does not have any marks in the glass, other than what appears to be consistent with how glass was made during that time. I do not know the exact age of this lantern. However it is the only one I have seen with 5 semi-globe sections. I was going to convert this Kerosene/oil lamp into a lighted lamp and clean it up for my nautical ... morethemed room, but never got around to it. I now am moving and liquidating some of my stuff. I did pay quit a bit for this lamp due to its unusualness and size, however I am willing to take any reasonable offers. I don't know anything about these as they were found in an estate clean out. I was told they are Perko lamps but found no markings- please do your own homework. Both look to have been rewired based on the 12v sticker inside. Now they have 110v wiring, one is missing a plug. Look to be made out of brass and galvanized, and the exterior of the galvanized is painted a flat black. Both lenses appear to be in great shape and are stamped'Perkins C/L 3 Side' and'FIC259 Mould No 3' They are approx 12" x 6" x 6" each and weigh about 3 3/4 lbs each. Vintage Nautical Barometer Lamp, Ship in Bottle & Starboard Copper Lantern
A rare vintage nautical barometer lamp with a ship in the bottle and an antique copper starboard oil lamp with a blue glass lens. The barometer is a Carrington. Which was made in England, and is in working order. The antique copper starboard oil lamp is a Tung Woo, and is in excellent condition for its age. The 3 way light switch controls both the lamp and lantern, so one can light both lamps or just one of them. The vintage ship in the bottle has a chain attached to the cork, which is anchored to a brass post on the base of the lamp. The base of this lamp is bordered with fisherman's rope, as is the barometer. The wood on this vintage lamp may have some scuff marks from its long journeys, but appears in great condition for its age. The lamp stands 30” in height, 20” in width, and 10” in depth. TD. Red Light! A96-0.83 3 also has 26.5 on it. Has 360 degree thick glass with tiny air bubbles. Has both hanging and suspending brackets. Has been electrified and has a large red light in it. Perfect for a collection. On a porch, next to a fish pond. So many options. Will be wrapped and probably double boxed and insured. 16 1/2" tall without the handles and at least 11" wide. Gorgeous Port Light Lantern. Lantern measures approx. 10 inches tall(not counting the pail 3.5" type handle) by 7 inches wide by 6 inches deep. I have sold a half dozen nautical lamps and this is by far the fairest of them all.inside 7 out. It has a beautiful patina. Only one very small dent, no scratching or chips. There are two layers of curved glass.the exterior glass(Barcelona Glass) is clear and a red internal curved piece. Both pieces excellent.no chips or cracks There is an opening. Surrounded by a rubber gasket, going into the lamp. Not sure what it is for, maybe a lead light. I placed a small light in the body to show what this lamp can look like. Could be electrified quite easily with the hole already there. Great looking lamp. Would look great all lit up out on a boat dock. By the pool or on a patio. Could be hung, attached ... moreto a wall bracket or just set on a shelf. Excellent Condition. There is some type of mounting bracket on backside. The lid is also very tight with solid hinges. I gently eased the top off with a screwdriver to open. You must remove the screw all the way to open.it slides into a hole as shown in pictures. There are 4 little feet on bottom with holes for air circulation. Would appreciate any info you might have as to maker as there is no hallmark on the lamp. Believe it's early 1900's.
