This would have been one of a set. One red, one green for the starboard and one deck mounted light for the clear light. Base is 5 1/2" x 10 1/8".

Well designed for interior or exterior use. Each light weighs over 6 pounds. From the top of the wall mount to the the bottom of the globe cage. Each light measures about 10 inches tall. When mounted to the wall the light will extend out from the wall by about 6 1/2 inches. The wall mount measures ... more4 inches wide and has four mount holes. The brass cage spins on and off to give access to the undamaged glass globe. The glass globe also spins on and off to give access to the bulb holder. The globes are true red and green glass, not clear glass with paint. We have installed new bulb holders in each light. The bulb holder and new wiring was made by Westinghouse electric and is stamped"UL LISTED" The new bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 65 watts or less. The wiring and bulb holder will work with any voltage under 250 volts. this is a very old metal signal light of some sort. Crumpled metal label on back reads PERKINS MARINE LAMP& HDW CORP. Brooklyn NY so I assume it is a boating or navigational lamp of some sort. 11 1/2" tall. About 6" wide and 9" deep with the flap that separates the two ridged glass lenses, one is green and one is red. Lenses are held in with copper or brass fittings and cap is same metal. The metal body is rusted out on about the bottom 3/4 inch and fits over somekind of lighting mechanism but I don't know what kind. this could be used for parts for another lamp of the same type or possibly restored, I don't know. back has a flat mount of some sort. don't know if it goes over an electric or gas light on a post, or how it was used. It is a good one because it is highly detailed with cross bars and green glass(it has an outer pane of clear glass and an inner pane of green, it is not thick green glass) It also has a functioning oil lantern that can be taken out fron the bottom. 4 VINTAGE BOAT LIGHTS RED & GREEN GLASS
Up for sale is this set of four vintage boat lights. The one large chrome one seems to be a cover or something because I don't see any hole for wiring. It is marked Henry Bramer Inc Keyport NJ. I can't read the Bramer. So I am not sure if that is what is says. I does have a small chip at the middle of the seam and has clear glass. The chrome has some pitting and needs cleaning. The smaller chrome light has red and green/teal color glass which is marked N.M.L. CO. The red portion of the glass has a chip in the center that you will see in the photos. The chrome is also pitted and dirty. The third light has paint that will need to be cleaned and has red glass that reads Kilborn Sauer Fairfield Conn, and has a chip on the right side of the glass which appears to be ground. The last is just a brass colored frame. See photos and ask questions.

We offer you this Nautical Gem, an Original Antique American 19th century to World War 1/ WWI US Naval Kerosene Search Light, in near mint condition(see condition description) As found condition, comming with other military lots we have listed up for Penny Auctions right now. This type of search light was used by all branches of Navy, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine. Impressive specimen, this one guarantees it was made for a more important/ wealthy clientelle. Equiped with all original pieces, dissasembles as you can see in the last set of photos. Canister on bottom unscrews, so does the top, and the very top(reticulated mushroom ... morevent cap) The gmagnifying glass in the front is present, and nice, held in by the"scissor" mechanisam safety(round) wire, which comes out the side, end by squeezing them together, realeases the glass. On two sides of the glass are two magnificent large jewels, one Green and one Red, signifying the traditional"Starboard" and"Port" side. Below the head of the lamp is a lever which could go three ways, as the signes say to"off" to the left, water" in the middle and"on" to the right. Lever moves like a charm, and it has a saw bracket above, to hold it in place at desired strength. Below the lever is the Mounting Clamp going outward on a slight angle, which is made of different much stronger metal, and displays different aging(slight rust) Bottom canister is fine, unscrews like a charm. Size is large 7.75" tall, 5.5" deep with the clamp, 3" deep without and 3.5" wide. Glass rim is 3.5" and glass is 2.5" diameter. Large antique Perko ship lantern metal/Green glass
This lantern is from my Grandfather's collection and unfortunately he's unable to give me specifics on it. This is believed to be a ship lantern but the globe has"PERKO" near seam. Measures approximately 20" tall and 10" at widest point. This lantern is solid. Weighs approximately 12 pounds. Needs to be cleaned up, it's dirty from years in storage. My Grandfather said it worked when packed up years ago, this is being sold UNTESTED. I have not taken this apart or done any extensive cleaning. The Globe appears solid but looks like there could be some deep cracks although the surface is smooth. The glass has a few scratches and chips. I've photographed all imperfections. Facial damage consists of chipping on outer edge of ribbing, back-side edges and corners show usage chipping, mostly flea-bite size. manufacturing air bubbles The chipping is shallow(is not missing large chunks of glass) with only 2 spots being dime size and the remainder being various pea sizes and smaller. While it simply needs an experts touch. This item has been in storage near Mobile Bay, Alabama and previously belonged to my grandfather who worked at and retired from the shipyard in the early 1970's. The finds are sporadic at times, and not grouped or labelled. This lens sat alone wrapped in paper and reinforced with cloth electrical tape that had stiffened and lost its sticky. To an untrained eye it has the characteristics ... moreof being one of the oldest lens' of that group. Antique Brass Two Color Boat Lantern Found in upstate New York. I am told that this is a lantern from the barges that they used on the Erie Canal. The lantern has a flat back and a rounded glass shade in the front. The glass is divided in the middle by a brass shield that extends from the front of the lantern- one side is colored green, the other side red, I guess to signal whether you were coming or going. On the top is a nice decorated piece that has little cut out heart shapes and a ring handle. On the bottom, there is a flap that can fold out showing the inside burner. Vtg Perkins PERKO Marine Boat Lamp Starboard Bow Green Red Glass Light Lantern
This listing is for a vintage Perkins PERKO Marine boat Kerosene Lamp. Finding one in better condition than this one will be a challenge. The lamp is made of Galvanized metal and has a Brass Top/Finial and the Kerosene lights hardware is made of Brass. The Dark Green and red lens are made of Glass and are chip and damage free. The design of this lamp is different than most others. The inside hardware is accessible from the bottom of the lamp only. It has ingenious spring loaded tabs of each side. If you want to pull out the hardware you simply squeeze the tabs and pull the hardware out. As you can see from the photo's the Brass hardware is in excellent condition and includes what is probably the original wick.I think this lamp has spent most of it's life indoors. The outside Galvanized Metal is also in excellent condition. Nothing ... moreis loose. All corners etc very tight construction. The top finial piece with hanging loop is made of Brass. I did not clean this. Left the original patina. I did however clean the Brass Perkins/ Perko identification tag because I could not read what it says. Early 1900's Marine Lamp (tugboat) W/ Green Lens MACBETH - EVANS GLASS COMPANY !
Up for auction is a great antique marine lamp with a green top and clear bottom lens. There is a 2" raised spot in the green lens part(probally how it got damaged) Could have been for a tugboat I was told from the previous owner. Name on the glass lens reads MACBETH- EVANS GLASS COMPANY MACBETH PITTSBURGH. It measures 12.5" across the front lens x 19.5" tall. In overall good condition. There is a crack in the lens. And a couple small bruises. THIS IS A RARE EARLY MARINE LAMP, the damage in the lens hurts, but still almost impossible to find these! Other than that, the exterior brass around the lens and the cast iron bracket and housing is in great condition other than some wear from age and use. VINTAGE PERKO BRASS/GLASS BOW LIGHT VINTAGE PERKO BOW LIGHT Up for sale is a nice estate find vintage Perko bow light for a boat/nautical vessel. It is made out of brass and has one side with green ribbed glass and the other side with red ribbed glass. There is also a divider made of brass that separates the two colors from view of passing ships on the high seas(sometimes seen missing or damaged on other lights) The brass has a nice patina from many decades of life. There is a decent size dent on the slightly-domed top(please see photos) The side of the light is marked with Perko's logo and company info. Being made in Brooklyn,NY. My guess as to age would be from around the 1930s or 40s. It could be even earlier-back into the 20s or so- but I'm not certain. The glass is in good condition. With no major breaks, cracks or scratches. ... morethere is normal wear consistent with age on both red and green glass(in the center particularly- please see photo) Also. Each of the red and green also have a very small chip in one of the thin ribs that runs laterally across the glass. Overall this is a really nice piece of maritime/nautical memorabilia, that could even possibly be used in a full-blown restoration of an old Chris-Craft or something. Here's a neat vintage item with red glass on one side and green on the other.several small chips. I believe it is brass. see photos for a better condition insight. It is dented on back of lamp and missing one screw. it appears to be adjustable. I have not truly cleaned this item. The base is almost 4 1/2" in diameter and is stamped. S&J. This is STEELE& JOHNSON(boat,house) I'm not sure what year it was made(30's,40's? although it is from an old estate. the height is about 7" at that angle. I don't know if it could be wired? We do not know what they will fit. 2) are real old and cast metal which I chrome plated. These glass lenses that look"Fresnel" style. The other(1) is more modern. The only marking on one is a"Scorpion" sticker on the largest one which does not look original. The chrome is pitted on all of them. Offered as is and found.
