I have no idea where these originally came from. They measure approximately 5" in height and 2 ½” 2 ¼” diameter-these measurements do not include the handles. Each weighs approx. 7 oz. The handles which are made distinctively different on each one. And are sturdy and firmly attached. They appear to be watertight with no holes or leaks but I didn't feel them with water to test. The craftsmanship is primitive and modest but graceful They are an extraordinary pair of heavy copper mugs that will be a great addition to any collection! They have a unique in/out copper glow. Navel Type No. 66 ROSE MANUFACTURING– circa 1905 This is an antique copper/brass searchlight manufactured in the early 20 th century. Around 1905, by the Rose Manufacturing Company, 911 Arch St, in Philadelphia PA. It was attached to“The Neverout Safety Gas Producer” and was lit by Acetylene gas. It has a hinged circular door with colorless glass lens and a B& L silvered reflector. It is labeled with a brass plate inscribed with the Neverout trademark and the following words: SEARCHLIGHT PROJECTOR. NAVAL TYPE NO. 86, ROSE MFG. CO. PHILIDELPHIA, U.S.A. The burner is in very good condition. The lens is cracked down the middle, but is intact. A small darkened area is due to the loss of the silvered backing. The lantern has been retrofitted with an electrical ceramic light socket although it does not come with a cord. Beautiful globe- would be a wonderful light fixture for any collector or nautical buff. Vintage Antique STERN Nautical Hong Kong Copper Brass Oil Navigation Lantern 9"
This lantern was probably acquired in Singapore where my father-in-law operated a salvage diving business in the 70's.he was US Navy Diver. Who spent a lot of time on boats-and then driving ships, once he retired. The wick is trimmed, slides securely down and there is a reflector that slides in behind it. The wick cap does not click securely to the oil reservoir, though. The thumb wheel turns the wick up and there is one to open the hatch to pull up and refill the reservoir. The top clicks down securely where the ring is positioned. I have some better pictures but am having some trouble uploading from that camera. Email me if you would like to see more.

Antique/Vintage Brass/Copper Nautical Maritime Oil Lamp with Beveled Glass
This antique brass/copper oil lamp is in excellent condition and has a beautiful patina. Only 2 tiny dings at the very top of the chimney about 2mm wide. It measures 13.5"H by 7" W. I can not find a makers mark. But I don't want to polish it to find out. Many antique dealers prefer brass or copper items in there natural aged state. The glass is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks and is beveled. Still has the original oil container with wick and the wick turner does rotate.
