This Tung Woo lamp was originally a decorative feature on a Knob Creek electric table lamp that we bought at an estate sale. It was not altered for the wiring of the Knob Creek lamp. It was merely attached to the lamps wood base with three small wood screws(see 7th pic) that we removed. Since it was only a decorative feature on the Knob Creek lamp, this Tung Woo lamp is in pristine"never lit" condition. Early. Copper& Brass Starboard Side Ships Lamp. This antique lamp was found at an estate sale in Henderson. NY on the eastern shore area of lake Ontario. The lamp is being offered as found for parts or refurbish or keep as is. The lamp stands 8.7/8" tall as is. The soot catcher or chimney cap is missing. The copper housing shows a lot of aged patina. There is a crack in the copper in the pierced trim that goes around the chimney(see image 9) The bottom door also has a split or crack(see image 5) The curved, green glass is in excellent condition for its age, just a few fine scratches and some dirt. Auction is for an Old Japanese Copper Kerosene Lamp. These were used along time ago by Japenses fishermen on their boats. The lamp measures 8" across and 5 1/2" in height. The outer housing is copper& the interior is lined in brass. With a brass lamp. The top is hinged& clasped with a chained hook. Measuring 22" tall(not including handle) width of about 11" The piece is painted but as far as I can tell the most or possibly the entirety of the piece is made of copper. The lantern is a forward facing type with mounting rings on each side, an access door on the back an a top hatch that looks down into from the chimney above. Inside the back hatch, the burner assembly is on a track and is removable. It appears to be an oil/kerosene burner with a large reflector. The glass globe appears to be intact. There are three attached metal labels or tags on the front. I will try to decipher them for you, due to age and paint there are partially legible. It is marked"No. L688" and"Not Under Command" The lantern is mostly made of brass and copper. The glass in the middle is in good shape with no chips or cracks and has a red lens inside signifying that it would have hung on the port side. Overall it is in good shape except for a dent in the copper lid that looks like it could be easily popped out. Comes complete with the removable oil reservoir and and burner. This is a copper lantern that measures 18" tall and 6 1/2" wide across. It has 6 glass sides with cut stars and vines? There is a glass oil lamp base, no wick or top that is fitted into the base of the lamp. the door opens at 2 two panes on a copper constructed hinge and latches closed. all solder joints in decent shape for its age, just one cracked pane of glass. It is copper, and is 10" down each side, 11" across the back, and about 10" tall, not including carrying handle. Has a glass insert red on one side, and green on the other, top finial is gone, and top vent has some cracks in it so handle should not be used to carry or hang. Vintage copper and brass lantern in good working condition. Measures 16" overall. It weighs almost 4.5 lbs. The glass is thick. Works well. Vtg Copper Sealine Sea Line Hanging Ship Nautical Fresnel Type Lens Oil Lantern
This is the classic solid copper anchor lamp used on sailing ships for hundreds of years. The lamp is hand machined in pure heavy-gauge copper with brass trim. Comes with burner and a bit of wick. The Fresnel style lens is made to magnify the oil lamp light to be visible for 20 nautical miles. The Anchor lamp is named for it's use. A 360 o white light is required to be displayed at the highest point(the tallest mast) on all vessels at anchor or under way at night. These oil burning lanterns were made to be lit. Hoisted to the top of the mast with one rope tied to the handle and a 2nd rope tied to the bottom bail to keep it from swaying as the ship rolls with the sea. A very nice lamp. Ready to use. This lamp measures approx. 10" high x 5" wide.

They also have quite a bit of wonderful green patina. The Port one has a disconnected hinge. The big one is missing the door on the back. Has a small crack in the front rim and a dent in the bottom. All of the glass is intact with no chips or cracks. The clear one has some imperfections in the finish. They are all missing the oil or Kerosene burning assembly from the inside. Please look at the pictures carefully for anything I might have missed. This may seem like a lot but none of this detracts from the great vintage look! Offered for sale is a vintage nautical navigation light. It has an internal. And removable ABCO oil lamp. I believe that it is made from copper and solder-joined. The only markings on it are on the oil lamp adjuster. ABCO 1) The chimney has a swivel top to allow access to the lamp globe. I believe this to be a vintage ship/nautical/maritime oil lantern in good condition. Made of copper, brass and a amber/yellowish tinted globe shaped glass w/ no cracks or chips. The lantern measures 11"H x 7.5"W and has a small removable oil lantern that enters the lantern through a small hole in the base of the lantern. I left the metal the way I found this piece and only cleaned up the glass globe. I do not see any reason why this lantern would not function properly. Two vintage copper Penco oil lamps. These charming working lamps are mint condition. And have never been used or filled with oil. Vintage Antique STERN Nautical Hong Kong Copper Brass Oil Navigation Lantern 9"
This lantern was probably acquired in Singapore where my father-in-law operated a salvage diving business in the 70's.he was US Navy Diver. Who spent a lot of time on boats-and then driving ships, once he retired. The wick is trimmed, slides securely down and there is a reflector that slides in behind it. The wick cap does not click securely to the oil reservoir, though. The thumb wheel turns the wick up and there is one to open the hatch to pull up and refill the reservoir. The top clicks down securely where the ring is positioned. I have some better pictures but am having some trouble uploading from that camera. Email me if you would like to see more.

Here we have a very nice quality matched pair of ~ COPPER NAUTICAL BOAT LANTERNS ~. These Vintage boat lights were recently acquired out of a private estate. They are solid copper with glass lenses and appear to be very nice quality lamps. We believe that these were made in the 1960's era as replacements for the original antique lamps. I would imagine that they were very expensive to purchase when new. They measure 9 1/2 inches tall" not counting the bail handle" by about 6 inches wide. They are in very nice condition with only a couple fairly minor little dents. The ne burner has the chimney and the other burner does not. These Vintage boat lanterns would make a nice addition to your collection or look great on your Vintage boat.
