Antique Maritime Marine Perkins Ship Kerosene Red Globe Lamp Lantern Large 19"
This is an antique globe lantern with globe red glass. The fuel canister unscrews from the bottom. The internal parts appear to be complete. All parts fit together perfectly. Please see photos for details. Measures 19 3/4" tall x 12 1/2" across. The beautiful red glass that appears to be hand blown reads"Perkins 10" Frederick Perkins founded the Perkins Marine Lamp Company in the late 1800's in Brooklyn. His lamps were hand formed and soldered from brass. Copper and galvanized steel. About 1922, the trademark name PERKO was introduced and their products were marked with PERKO instead of PERKINS. This lantern predates 1922. Old Antique Brass Ships Kerosene Light. T his piece is in g ood condition for its age. Shows some signs of use though. T he very top of the lantern has a dent in it and the handle has a light bend i n it. There are a few small dings on the out side. The glass in good condition no chips or cracks as far as can be seen. T he burner is in good condition as well. We aren't sure if this is the original burner. The burner comes out of the bottom of the lantern to refill it. T he burner is also missing 1 of the 3 clips that holds it in. W e are not experts on sailing lanterns but this is how it came to us. I t also looks like it can be hang or hung by the brackets in the back as shown in the pictures. T his is a nice peace of old time sailing history. For Auction: Rare Perko De-lite Maritime Red and Green Kerosene Lantern Lamp. From the 1939 Perko catalog. This is described as a"Perko De-Lite Combination Bow Light for boats under 26' Designed for boats going up and down a channel or river. The divider divides the red and green light and gives you a clue on which side you are passing on. Base is 5 1/2" by 5" 7" tall. Copper over metal. Original Condition- Red and Green Glass are good. Both doors open. The Green door latch is a little tight. But it does open. The red door latch is not original, and looks like it has been replaced. The kerosene can inside is empty. The Original wick is still included. The wicker turner still turns just fine. It won't raise the tope part of the wick. An antique boat lantern in good condition. All original patina. It has a kerosene/oil? burner with adjustable wick. Red glass on one side and green glass on the other. I do not see a manufacturers name on it. I don't think that the top is the original top. But I could be mistaken. There is a small dent on the left side and some of the green glass is chipped as you can see in the last picture. It measures 10" high and 5" wide. 1914 Eli Griffiths & Sons Birmingham Brass Kerosene Wall Mounted Lantern
The burner of this lantern slides out and on the side of it is stamped Eli Griffiths& Sons Birmingham 1914. The Clip at the top of the lantern is stamped EG& S 1916. The brass lantern is intact and has not been restored. All the parts appear to be present. The slide which covers the opening to the burner adjustment needs to be reattached. The lantern is 16" high. 8" across the back and 5" front to back. Behind the burner is a white enamel reflector which is in excellent condition. The lantern is extremely heavy.

It measures 14" tall and 7" Diameter amd weighs about 5 lbs. Not sure if it is an original or reproduction. If it is a repro. It is a good one because it is highly detailed with cross bars and green glass(it has an outer pane of clear glass and an inner pane of green, it is not thick green glass) It also has a functioning oil lantern that can be taken out fron the bottom. Antique 1869 Scottish Clipper Ship Brass Nautical Lantern Kerosene/Oil Lamp-1255-Dumbarton Scotland I just purchased this nice antique piece at a local estate auction. It is is very good condition considering its age! It has a very nice patina to it and all of the glass is still intact. It also has all of the reflector plates on the inside lid. This is important because there are reproductions out there and they do not have the reflector plates. Reproductions also don't have the lead flaps at the tops of the glass panels to hold the glass in. The other thing to look for is the data plate. Reproductions are usually thin and cheesy looking. This lamp has the nice thick data plate. I did my research before buying this at the auction and am 100% confident that this is an original. In fact there is still some soot in the corners of the reflector ... moreplates to indicate that it was used. Measurements are 24" tall and 14" across. This is a nice old brass ship's oil lantern. Each side has glass. With an X in brass on the outside. The top is hinged and is held shut by a large screw. The Wedge burner is removable and still has a wick and functioning knob. The top piece has some dents as pictured. The height is 9-1/2 inches and it is 4-1/8 inches square. antique chas c Hutchinson co maritime kerosene lantern. I did a little research and found out this was a company who produced maritime products on state st. in boston. Ma. they were in business in the mid 1800's the frame is in good overall condition and has the original burner assembly which is good condition. as stated above I do not have the glass for it. I am sure it is probably interchangeable with other lanterns. if you have the globe I have the rest.i will always combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever it is reasonable to do so.

Antique Nautical Maritime Brass Ship Cargo Kerosene Lamp Lantern Vintage Heavy
This lantern is approximately 5.5" x 5.5" x 14.5" and weighs almost 6 lbs. All glass in intact with no cracks. It has a wedge burner. I have not tried to use it. It has been used in the past as there is soot at the top. Please see pictures for further condition. It appears shinier in the pictures than it really is. I have not cleaned it or polished it.

Vintage Starboard Ship Kerosene Lantern Light Lamp Port Blue Glass Brass 21" BIG
Vintage ship's starboard lantern in a unique tri-plex shape. One of the largest I've seen at 21" from base to finial. 11" x 11" square with the typical curved front. Thick blue glass(not an interchangeable light filter) with horizontal grooves. Brass trim and a brass finial with hanging ring. Great"keyhole" vent holes throughout. Suffers from an untidy paint job and is in need of some updating. Missing original kerosene lamp and has been converted with a light socket. Needs new electrical cord. Brass has a lovely patina and there is still some vintage kerosene soot on the inside of this lamp. There is a small spot on the bottom by a switch of some sort that corrosion has eaten through the metal. But it's repairable and not endemic to the rest of the lantern. Glass is free of cracks or chips.

Working hinges and sliding latch. Original interior flat-wick lantern mounted inside. rectangular lantern exterior has an affixed plaque reading"Chief Light/ No.3509/ Great Britain/ 1935" housing measures h. 15-1/2" w.7-1/4" d. 7-1/4" with handle raised 18” high.
