The cord is 10 feet long and in decent shape, but is a little stiff from age. As shown in the photos, the cap flips open to access the bulb.

This offering is for an Antique Kilborn Sauer Fairfield. Conn(marked on the red glass lens) Red Lens Port Side Boat Running Lamp. This early Nautical Boat Light/Lamp/Lantern is in very good. Yet rough condition, the red heavy glass lens is in excellent condition(just a little dirty)no chips or cracks. See pictures to assess for yourself the condition of this rare maritime collectible. The Lens door secures tightly and their is no looseness to the lens or to any of the housing-very well made. I am including a small metal oil burner that is obviously not the original. The glass is perfect. The housings themselves appear to maybe have been repainted black at some point. The fuel tanks are missing, as you can see they are basically just the housings. We shone a flashlight underneath them to show how lovely and rich the blue and red lenses glow. Nice for a restoration project, or even just for nautical décor. The lens was made by the now defunct Durkee Marine Products Company of Staten Island, New York. The company went out of business in 1920, so this item was made no later than that date. This is for one vintage– antique red glass lens for a boat light. Ship light, shore light or lantern. It is in the shape of half of a cylinder. The lens is in the shape of a Fresnel lighthouse style lens. It is red glass through and through. Not just red on the surfaces. It is 7 3/8 inches tall and 7 7/8 inches wide at it's widest. It has an inside diameter of 6 9/16 inches. It has a molded in rabbit or stepped edge for mounting in the lantern on the top and bottom. On the top edge it has"Corning Made in U.S.A. molded in the glass. The side edges have grind marks from making it flat there. There are some small chips on the edges. There are no cracks or repairs on it. It came from Duluth, Minnesota. Duluth is at the west end of Lake Superior and has a large ocean going ship harbor. May have had a thin brass coating at one time. 12" red glass lens is in great shape and is pebbled inside. Entire light measures 23" tall and is 15" front to back. There are three large clip hinges that hold the lens rim in place. At the top of the light you can see the two small stationary hinges(one is broken) so that the lens and trim ring can be lifted up but remain attached. Even though one of these is broken. The lens and trim ring are held securely by not only the remaining hinge but the three much larger ... moresnap hinges at the top and sides of the light. The light has an iron base with four big screws for mounting. There used to be a mercury glass reflector that fit the back of the light's interior. Only shards of it were left when I found this light. The gentlemen I purchased it from said his mother had aluminum foil inside for a reflector. She had it mounted on their boat dock and they used it to find their way home. The light has a long industrial electric cord on it and works great(see pics) Light has a great look! Or half lens, for either the Mast or other part of a nautical vessel in very good condition with minor chips, scratches and what looks like a crack on the bottom, but after close inspection its not a crack and is from the molding process. The lens measures 6-1/2"H x 6"W x 3"D(inches) with the glass being 1/2" thickness. There are no makers marks. Or marks of any kind found on the item. It resembles a lighthouse lens. Extremely Rare Brass 1928-34 Dee-Wite Red/Blue Boat Bow Light Glass Lens
A very rare near impossible to find Dee-Wite bow light from between 1928 to 1934. In very good solid non-restored condition with no damage. Made to hold a flag pole. Glass lens are near perfect except a tiny nibble on the blue lens that you cant see in the pictures. I believe originally this was nickle plated but all the nickle plate has been rubbed off. A few traces can still be seen here and there. There is no wiring and this is just the brass housing with red and blue lens. Measures 7 1/8 inches long at the base and stands 3 3/4 inches tall. An absolute must have to finish your Dee-Wite restoration or just to add to your collection. I have not to found another up for sale. I can only find them still on a Dee Wite Runabout. Facial damage consists of chipping on outer edge of ribbing, back-side edges and corners show usage chipping, mostly flea-bite size. manufacturing air bubbles The chipping is shallow(is not missing large chunks of glass) with only 2 spots being dime size and the remainder being various pea sizes and smaller. While it simply needs an experts touch. This item has been in storage near Mobile Bay, Alabama and previously belonged to my grandfather who worked at and retired from the shipyard in the early 1970's. The finds are sporadic at times, and not grouped or labelled. This lens sat alone wrapped in paper and reinforced with cloth electrical tape that had stiffened and lost its sticky. To an untrained eye it has the characteristics ... moreof being one of the oldest lens' of that group. It does have some damage, one chip on the inside of the bottom rim and 2 others that are on the body of the lens in line together(see last 3 photos) Please look closely at the photos. The Perko name is recognized on waterfronts around the world. They no longer produce the old traditional styles. And oil lights no longer meet Coast Guard regulations, so these old lamps are getting hard to find. High quality PERKO stern light manufactured during the second quarter of the 20th century. Features thick clear glass Fresnel lens there are two visile small cracks that are pointed out in the photos. The body is galvanized metal with brass chimney caps and bail handle. They retain its original snap-in wedge burner that are fitted into the bottom of the light. The two clips are intact and operable. Early 1900's Marine Lamp (tugboat) W/ Green Lens MACBETH - EVANS GLASS COMPANY !
Up for auction is a great antique marine lamp with a green top and clear bottom lens. There is a 2" raised spot in the green lens part(probally how it got damaged) Could have been for a tugboat I was told from the previous owner. Name on the glass lens reads MACBETH- EVANS GLASS COMPANY MACBETH PITTSBURGH. It measures 12.5" across the front lens x 19.5" tall. In overall good condition. There is a crack in the lens. And a couple small bruises. THIS IS A RARE EARLY MARINE LAMP, the damage in the lens hurts, but still almost impossible to find these! Other than that, the exterior brass around the lens and the cast iron bracket and housing is in great condition other than some wear from age and use.
