This listing is for a vintage brass gimbal lamp with milk glass shade. It's marked: Pascall Atkey& Son Cowes. The lamp measures 8.5" to the top of the socket. 5.25" across the shade ring, 3.75" across the bottom of the base, and about 10.75" to the top of the shade. The shade is 3.25" high, 5" across the bottom and 3.5" across the top. No cracks or chips in the glass. The lamp has been tested, and it does work. The switch is in the cord, and the lamp uses a Christmas tree size bulb. The brass needs polishing. Overall, very nice condition. The lamp is heavy, 5lbs before packing. Cracks or scratches. There are 2 chips on the flange which will never be seen. When this piece of glass was made, some specs were incorporated in the molten glass and those are the spots you see in my pics. I have no concept what this lens was used for.
