Yet rough condition, the red heavy glass lens is in excellent condition(just a little dirty)no chips or cracks. See pictures to assess for yourself the condition of this rare maritime collectible. The Lens door secures tightly and their is no looseness to the lens or to any of the housing-very well made. I am including a small metal oil burner that is obviously not the original. Nautical Lamp Handcrafted Ship Wheel with Lighthouse Clock great for Boat Cabin
This lamp was handcrafted by my husband who is a licensed electrician. The base of it is made of Teak Wood trimed in decorative cord. The ships wheel part is made of silver colored metal and has a battery operated clock in it(1 AA included) The picture in the center is of the Point Judith Light House in RI. It has a blue fabric shade also trimed in decorative cord. The base of the lamp has two screw holes just slightly under the cord for permanent mounting in the cabin of a boat. Would also be great in a little boys sailor themed room or even at a beach house. It is 15 1/2 inches from the base to the top of the shade. Late 1800's Small Boat Signal Lamp Description: This late 1800's Small Boat Signal Lamp is in excellent condition for it's age and use. There are scratches. Marks, small impressions and the normal signs of wear you would expect from an instrument like this. On the top vent there are two small holes as seen in the photographs. These small hand held lamps were used to signal in Morse code. This one is roughly 7& 1/2 inches tall, has its original belt clip and folding rear handles. The front opens to reveal the removable lamp which is in excellent condition, and has P&A MFG CO. WATERBURY CONN embossed on the wick knob. The lens is roughly 2 3/4 inches wide and is firmly affixed. This one is very sturdy and weighs 1 pound 5 3/4 ounces. The paint is black and in excellent condition again considering it's use and age. For sale is a"PERKO" brand glass globe for some sort of nautical light or lamp. It is light purple/amethyst in color and is marked"PAT. PEND" in tiny letters on the side. It measures about 2 3/4" tall. The diameter of the bottom is about 1 7/8" and this is the outside measurement of the very bottom edge. The globe is in very nice shape with no damage and just slight wear. The glass is ever so slightly cloudy on the inside but perhaps this can be polished away? Vtg Glass & chrome sail ship night light lamp nautical marine boat
Very nice nautical sail ship night light. Fair shape for it's age. No chips or cracks in the glass bottom. Glass bottom has chipped paint and chrome needs polishing. But it looks so cool lite up! The green and red colored plastic on the deck is cracked on each side, but not very noticable. All sails are there but strings need reattched in a few places. This is a very different table lamp I got it at an estate sale I know it is older but not sure of the year. I also don't know if it is factory made or home made. The metal I don't know what it is but its very sturdy. It NEEDS A CLEANING I don't do that I sure don't want to mess anything up.It does sit on a wooden base. As you can tell by the pictures it does have some rust on it.If its home made the person did a good job. There are no makers marks that I can see. Boat or Dock Light* This is a vintage maritime nautical Fresnel Lens Lamp that was previously being used as a dock light in Austoria. Oregon on Oregon's North Coast. It appears to be brass or copper metal(do not know if solid or plate) It has a glass fresnel lens. It measures approximately 7 1/2" tall to top of hanger and 4 1/2" in diameter at the base. It is wired to take a standard electric light bulb. The metal top and bottom attach to fresnel lens with thumb set screws. It is as found and well weathered from years of use although it is still functional. We have not cleaned the metal or glass and there are deposits from the elements on both the metal and glass. It could probably be cleaned up but wanted to leave it with ... moreits original weahered look. Other than the the weathering from the elements it is in good vintage condition and the glass fresnel lens does not have any cracks or chips. There is supposed to be string run thru and up and down to replicate a ships sales but has come loose and I know nothing about how to make it look right. I'm not sure what kind of animal. Unlike many of these lanterns this one still has the original Perko lamp inside as shown in pictures. The sliding hatch mechanism still works on this piece. It was used as a display piece in the house and they had a screw in the base of the signal to hold the sliding hatch open. This is the most complete piece of this kind that we have seen on eBay and a great addition to all maritime collectors. This auction is for a very nice vintage brass nautical/maritime table lamp. The lamp has a 3 way lamp switch for dimmer or brighter light. There is an interior lamp light that provides a light glow through the glass globe. The glass globe is marked with GGG. The lantern has a nice brass finish and a boat rope that is wrapped around the wooden base. The lamp is marked Ankerlicht. The lamp comes with a burlap style shade. The bottom base is lined in felt.
