I cannot find any others to compare it to on ebay and there are no markings on the light other than on the socket inside the lamp and on the side as shown are the letters P&O. I am not sure if this was a gas type light or not. Although it has a socket where a bulb or something would have fit but on the side of the light it looks like a flint or sparker. The light will need the chrome trim cleaned.Sorry I am not much help here, please see the pictures and maybe someone out there can tell me more. The works are mounted on a nice piece of oak and there are exposed wires etc on the back. It appears the glass is missing however the clip holder to hold the glass guard in is in the metal hood. The metal hood is hinged and has holes to let the heat escape. The light measures 11" long x 5" wide and weighs unpackaged 3-1/2 pounds.At the top of the light is a knob that can be turned to control the brightness i am guessing. Antique Brass Nautical Light Ship Lantern This is a heavy(7-1/2lb. antique brass ship lantern. It is in good condition with the exception of several dents and a bent section of the guard. Please see photos. The internal lamp part is missing but a big 22oz Yankee Candle fits inside perfectly! Candle not included. The fixture is ventilated on top and bottom. It was designed for a flame burning oil lamp originally. The patina is nice. The glass lens is in great shape. The silver colored reflector inside is also in excellent condition. This could have been a cargo lamp. Steaming l ight. Anchor light, or a stern light. Not really sure. Somewhere on it's journey it was electrified and has a bulb inside and the burner is not present. It has a thick Fresnel lens that is turning purpl e with age and it has a crack in it that is stable. Doesn't detract much from the old lamp. It is fairly weathered and has some rust on the inside. But it looks really cool. Also, there is a small crack on the top in the front(you can see it in the first photo) Light/ Lamp is not included. It is approximately 12" tall, 6.5" wide and 5" deep. It weighs 2.5 pounds. This is an antique globe lantern with globe red glass. Measures 15.75" tall x 9 1/2" across. The beautiful red glass that appears to be hand blown reads"Perkins 10" Frederick Perkins founded the Perkins Marine Lamp Company in the late 1800's in Brooklyn. His lamps were hand formed and soldered from brass. Copper and galvanized steel. About 1922, the trademark name PERKO was introduced and their products were marked with PERKO instead of PERKINS. This offering is for an Antique Kilborn Sauer Fairfield. Conn(marked on the red glass lens) Red Lens Port Side Boat Running Lamp. This early Nautical Boat Light/Lamp/Lantern is in very good. Yet rough condition, the red heavy glass lens is in excellent condition(just a little dirty)no chips or cracks. See pictures to assess for yourself the condition of this rare maritime collectible. The Lens door secures tightly and their is no looseness to the lens or to any of the housing-very well made. I am including a small metal oil burner that is obviously not the original. HUGE Brass Nautical Spot Light / Daylight Signaling Lamp Nautical Salvage

You are bidding on the great nautical spot light shown above. This is a huge brass nautical spot light/ daylight signaling light. Weighing in at 80 pounds and standing 27 inches tall as shown in the photo to the left. The base mount is 10 inches wide and has 6 mount holes. The shutter work freely using the side handle. This light was made in Japan in 1974 and recovered in the fall of 2012 at the ship breakers of Alang Indian. The front window is plexiglass and shows a little wear but has no cracks or holes. The light tilts up and down and spins almost all the way around on the base mount. This light was found with a 1000 watt ... morebulb. The voltage stamped on the side of the light is unreadable. But most of the others we have ever found showed the voltage to be 110 volts. We have not re-wired this light, so it has the original wiring that has not been tested for safety or function. The bulb originally had some sort of adjustment that was controlled by the knob by the power cord. This knob is no longer turns, so the bulb is fixed in the same position unless you take the time to sort this out. The front shutter housing is held in place by four rods and wings nuts. One of the four rods is broke, but the housing is held in place just fine with the three remaining holders(see photos) We recommend re-wiring if you plan of lighting this monster up! This is a hard to find item and it displays very nice! If you do not want to ship this items. It can be picked up at our Pauline South Carolina Warehouse. It measures about 2 3/4" tall. The diameter of the bottom is about 1 7/8" and this is the outside measurement of the very bottom edge. The globe is in very nice shape with no damage and just slight wear. The glass is ever so slightly cloudy on the inside but perhaps this can be polished away? The metal is either BRASS or BRONZE and EXTREMELY HEAVY! The red and green lenses look to be very old. ORIGINAL and quite THICK! The red one has a few dings in it as pictured, but the green one does not. Looks like it would have been mounted on a pole at the bow of the boat or vessel. GORGEOUS AUTHENTIC and OLD!
