From what little I’ve been able to learn. The light was created sometime in the early 1900’s to the 30’s. I read online that is was patented in 1907 but I don’t place a lot of stock in online information. This light was pulled off a lighthouse in Northern Michigan some years ago, while it was undergoing renovations. The light stands at about 13 inches tall with a metal grate surrounding the glass itself. The Crouse Hinds name is etched into the glass fixture& on the metal below. The grate unscrews but I was unable to remove the glass as it is screwed in rather tightly. It does have a ceramic light fixture and is quite heavy for its size. I’ve never tested this light ... moreand has been stored in a dry place for a number of years. WW2 VINTAGE LIGHT HOUSE TRENCH ART LAMP ARTILLERY SHELLS No Reserve
Lighthouse Trench Art Model American: Brass 15 x 3.75 inches. Overall. Trench art model of a lighthouse. The tapering tower of the lighthouse is cleverly made of brass artillery shell incised with lines to create a brick pattern. The artillery shell is set within a round brass stepped base. And is surmounted by a platform with a railing, a cylinder representing the light, and a conical copper roof, incised with two concentric lines top comes off to be able to change the bulb. The lighthouse was probably made during or shortly after the end of World War II, perhaps by a member of the armed forces. PLEASE TRY THE MAKE AN OFFER IT WORKS!

This is an interesting group of items we picked up from a gentleman that salvaged large boats parts. We dont know alot about them. But will describe them to the best of our ability. The tallest item appears. To us, to be a brass housing piece for a light. It is approx. 9" tall and 8 1/2" wide(including handles on each side) The top is marked BETTS MACH CO. Warren. PA Model B-30 US Pat. 27077417 Can. Pat. 522093 In looking up the US Patent it appears this is a J.J. DE FREES Sealing Means for Lamp Housing Closure. Filed Sept. 7, 1951 There is a brass item(widest round in photo) stamped"PILOT HOUSE CHART ROOM" It has a lid with a handle. When lid is opened it is hollow. Dimensions: 5" wide x 3" tall(not including handle) The lid handle is approx 2 1/2" long. We also have another brass item that is stamped on ... moretop: PILOT HOUSE RADAR OPERATION OPEN BRIDGE This item also has a similar lid as the other. It is 4" tall and 3" wide(not including lid hinge) The lid handle is approx. 2 1/4" long. When opened. This one too, is hollow. Lastly. We have two(2) nautical door stops with latches. The larger is 4" tall and would attach to the floor. The smaller is 3 1/4' long and would attach to the wall. Both still have the padding and both have hooks. Automatic lamp changer for Brass Buoy Nautical navigation marker Light house
DESCRIPTION FOR AUCTION: This is a very unusual find. It is an original automatic lamp changer that would go in an old brass buoy lamp light navigation marker or light house light. I have a brass marker lamp listed this week and this is a second mechanism. It has a wheel of sockets that holds 4 bulbs. As one burns out. The mechanism rotates and lights the next bulb. I can't find the manufacturer name on it. There are just some serial numbers. The mechanism measures about 5 inches across the base and about 6 inches to the top of a bulb. There are currently 3 bulbs in this one. It is a 110 volt mechanism. I attached it to a 12volt power supply. The lamps didn't light but the mechanism rotated when a bulb was removed.
