Vintage Nautical Light Lantern -- Huge Oakford Blue Lens Light
For yourconsideration is this huge Oakford Blue Lens Light. This lantern is from a large Nautical Lantern collection that I am currently working through. I am not sure what its intended use was. The blue glass has a sort of purple hue to it. There is the expected external wear, but the interior is nice and clean. RARE Antique New England Whale Oil Ship's Lamp With Blue Fresnel Lens
This beautiful ships lamp measures approximately 16in.x9in. and was found in a seaside barn in Massachusetts. The lamp has a heavy blue/green fresnel lens in two pieces joined by some type of fiber caulking. The body and lens cage are made from a heavy metal and are painted aqua-green. There are a couple of chips in the seam of the lens but is otherwise fine. The overall condition is fair with some rust and pitting that could be cleaned and reprinted if desired. There is no sign of wiring so I assume this was meant to be lit by oil. I have never seen a similar lamp and can find no maker's mark. Here is an antique ship's lantern made by Universal Metal Spinning and Stamping Co. New York. The manufacturer is stamped into the side of the lantern. Also. Markings on the top say"Starboard Classes II& III" The triangular shaped lantern has a hinged door, vented top, and a handle for carrying. I believe this is a brass lantern, but I am not certain. The metal is non magnetic. The lens is thick and'ridged' and is blue in color. There is no burner in the lantern. The lantern and lens are dirty, but I do not see any cracks in the lens, or any dents/dings in the lantern. Lantern measures about 10" tall(not including the handle) and is about 7 1/4" wide from corner to corner. In searching the internet, I have seen a very similar lantern set(both port and starboard) by the same manufacturer, sell on liveauctioneers.com, ... morefor $350. We are offering for your consideration a large antique ships lantern manufactured by A WARD HENDRICKSOM& CO. of Brooklyn NY. The lens is a beautiful cobalt blue. The lantern is large. 16 inches tall 10.5 inches deep and is 13 inches wide including the holders for the rope handle. The lid is solid brass and screws on and off well. The body of the lantern is hand soldered throughout, galvanized tin. It has been painted a bronze color a long time ago; it may well be original to the lantern. It is quite heavy weighing a little over 16 pounds. It has been electrified at one time and it does light well. There is one very small chip in the lens about 1/4 inch square.

Antique Wilcox-Crittendon & Co. Huricane Tested Marine Light---Rare Blue Lens
This is a very old Wicox-Crittendon& Co. marine lamp. The burner is missing and the wire bale at the hinge point is loose. It has a blue lens that is rare. The top cap is brass under the tarnishing. The brass plaque is intact and looks beautiful. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will do what I can to help. It is about 12 inches high to the top of the hanger loop and measures 5 inches on the straight sides.

Extremely Rare Brass 1928-34 Dee-Wite Red/Blue Boat Bow Light Glass Lens
A very rare near impossible to find Dee-Wite bow light from between 1928 to 1934. In very good solid non-restored condition with no damage. Made to hold a flag pole. Glass lens are near perfect except a tiny nibble on the blue lens that you cant see in the pictures. I believe originally this was nickle plated but all the nickle plate has been rubbed off. A few traces can still be seen here and there. There is no wiring and this is just the brass housing with red and blue lens. Measures 7 1/8 inches long at the base and stands 3 3/4 inches tall. An absolute must have to finish your Dee-Wite restoration or just to add to your collection. I have not to found another up for sale. I can only find them still on a Dee Wite Runabout. Up for auction is this vintage dock lamp made by the B& B Engineering Corporation of Norwood. LA, U.S.A. The dock lamp is a model NL6601 that takes a normal 1" diameter 100 watt light bulb and has a chain pull on/off switch and wiring that comes out of the bottom. The light weight wiring needs additional length to hook up to an outlet. The 180 degree blue grooved lens is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damaged whatsoever as seen in the photos. The lamp measures 9 1/2" in diameter by 13 1/2" high including the tripod base that has three holes to mount on either a dock or boat. The physical condition is very good and ready to be hooked up to the buyer's dock, boat, or anywhere lighting is needed outside. Weighs 10 lbs. before packaging.
