Antique PERKO Brass Adjustable Marine Spot Light Boat Search Light Nautical
This is a really cool old Perko marine spotlight or searchlight. It is solid brass and I think the light holder is a cast red brass. I couldn't find anything on the light that a magnet would stick too. It seems to be structurally in good condition. The brass could use cleaning and polishing as there's a lot of patina to the brass. The thin strip around the top and bottom of the light have some small slits. Maybe for fitting the brass around the body of the light. The light is also adjustable to be able to aim the light. The half label on the back is a Perko label. Heavy and well made. It has a GE bulb and I was told it works. The wiring is frayed and you should definitely have it checked out or rewired if you're planning on using it as a light though. See the pictures for more detail. Up for auction is a antique bow light. I am unsure what boat this was off of but it was definitely removed from a boat here on long island. It appears to have a brass body and blue/ red glass. It does come with a wooden mount. The only issue with this light is it is chipped in the blue portion of the glass. Other then that it appears to be in nice shape. This was used in conjunction with another one to signal to other ship captains that the ship was not moving and not under active command of anyone. This has a great patina! This has what appears to be the original light socket and looks to be in good condition- but I'm no expert. There was once another tag welded to the top of this lantern. But probably removed when the current tag was placed. The glass lense is not cracked and the red insert looks good as well. This is an old bronze Perko bow light we found at a local estate sale. It measures 7+7/8 inches long. 4+3/4 inches wide and 3+3/4 inches tall. This one is in used condition. It needs rewiring and has no guts whatsoever. It has a small crack in the bronze on the front of the light and the plug on the back is missing. The lenses are perfect with no chips or cracks. Vintage brass bronze boat quadrant pulley ship anchor
Not quite sure what this is but it is well made. I believe it is a boat quadrant but I could be wrong. I believe it is made of bronze or something like it. It is not steel. You could see some very shiny areas poking through so I believe this would shine up nicely. It is about 11" x 11" There was also a bronze key attached with it but not quite sure what it is for. Living on the Coast of Maine. I often find myself in the oddest of places. This week I had the pleasure of picking an old boat house on one of the islands that make up the town of Harpswell. Maritime Tug Boat Ship Solid Brass Wall Industrial 6LB Antique 3pc Lighting Lamp
Overall this is 10 1/2" and the glass globe. Case and brass lamp do not show any damage. It is a wall mount and the round wall mount area is 6" across the center. The elder estate seller(100 miles north of NYC) said his Uncle lived in Brooklyn NY and owned a tug boat decades ago and this is from the old tug boat. It is very heavy weighing 6 pounds without packageing and box. It was very hard to read but the globe has letters and numbers that look like"9S4971-L" but not positive of the numbers as they are in lightly raised glass. The brasss cage or basket area has no breaks and it reads numbers that look like"24CGH" or something like that is raised brass. The case also reads"R&S CO. which stands for the Russell& Stoll co) There is no other writing anywhere on this 3 pc set so I have no idea how old ... morethis actually is but it is very industrial. It has an extended piece on the side but no knob to turn it on or off and it looks like it never had one and would have been wired and utilized with an on/off switch from the wall(just guessing on that) Thank you for your patience with me. Stands about 15 inches tall and 7 inches round Was originally oil lamp was converted to electric No holes where drilled but oil tank has cracks in the side and top vent has some cracks or splits and base has one splits all from heat and age.And glass has a small bruise spot on the edge didn't even see it till i cleaned the glass some.Most of the cracks you will never see unless you are looking for them.Still a nice original cool lantern for your man cave or hang out side.

Pair Large Solid Brass Marine Nautical Signal Lights Boat Lanterns Lamp
These are a great pair of Marine Nautical Lights. They are solid brass with heavy ribbed glass shades. They have been rewired and are in working condition. One of the lights has its original red insert so it can be used as a signal light. The 1st picture shows the lights with the red insert in one and a green light bulb in the second one if you wanted to use these that way. Or you can take out the red insert and have both lights clear as in the 2nd picture. Or put in any color bulb you choose. The lights are very heavy. The one with the insert is about 15 lbs and the other 13.5 lbs. These lanterns have handles that you can use to hang them or just for carrying. One of the lanterns has a little more copper tone to it then the other one and has 3 little feet to attach to a deck. The tops can be removed or slid to the side with the screws on ... morethe top to replace the lightbulbs. The globes are marked with a makers name. One of the shades has 2 small internal fissures at the bottom of the globe but they don't go all the way through the glass. There are a few dings and small indentations here and there typical of their age. See pictures) Other than that. They are in good condition and could use some cleaning. Vtg PERKO SHIPS NAUTICAL BOAT LANTERN LIGHT VERY HEAVY BRASS & THICK GLASS
This is a very thick brass nautical light made by Perko. The red glass is original& also very thick. It was rewired for household current& works. The wire is very short& bared at the end& has a cut in it. So it probably should be replaced. It stands 9 1/2" tall. It has two open threaded fittings(one on bottom& one on back) It also has a smaller hole that the new wiring was ran through. I'm not sure if it was on a ship or maybe even a bridge. It is heavy duty, I put it on a bathroom scale& it registered 10 pounds. The glass is still in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It was found in an old estate in northern Michigan right on Lake Huron, so it probably has some history. Unfortunately I do not know the history of it. This is a brass spot light off of a Columbia River Gillnet boat that is very unique as it is a vintage 12 volt light that is very rare. The lens says'Per Lux 200T' it belonged to a friend of mine who could not tell me the vintage only that it was"OLD" He has used it for many years long ago on his commercial fishing vessel. I do not know if the bulb lights or not as I don not have a 12v system to plug into. Either way it would make a great piece to add to your nautical collection. Vintage Electric Maritime Boat Ship Light Red Nautical Glass Lens Brass Works
This is a Vintage Nautical Ship Maritime Red Lens Electric Boat Lamp It does work. The red paint is chipping. The Brass housing for the lamp is not damaged. It is about 9 inches tall and is 5.25 inches across at the bottom. There is no damage to the cord. The bolt top(nut) to a post is missing. It looks like a post has been replaced.
