This is a VERY HIGH Quality brightly polished VINTAGE BRASS NAUTICAL SHIPS CARGO LIGHT OIL LANTERN and VERY VERY SOLID. Measures 10" tall with top loop standing up straight and approximately 4.5 inches at it's widest point. Classic design. Heavy thick brass. Bottom unscrews where oil and wick can be placed. Glass Globe is a 1/4" thick glass. This lantern weighs a surprising 1 pound and 14.1 ounces(almost 2 pounds) Nothing thin and cheap. All heavy duty quality. We think it was made back in the 1950's. It has a Perko Style Look. But no signatures and actually it bit better quality. One heavy 3/8" gage loop on top with 2 small side loops on bottom to hold in down secure at Sea. Large Vintage/Antique Brass/Copper Ships Reflector Oil Lantern. The lantern itself is 24" tall(with chimney) and about 15" wide. With the handle it is about 32" tall. It appears to be complete with burner and glass chimney. The hinges need to be soldered(they are barely hanging on) There are gray paint splatters on the lantern and plenty of patina. It has a place on the back for wall mount(I think) The handle is bent and dented but the lantern itself is in pretty good condition. The handle and possibly the chimney will be removed for shipping purposes. Antique Brass kerosene Ships lantern R C Murray Glascow Nautical Marine
This auction is for an antique ships lantern with a makers label that reads R C Murray limited 37 Cavendish SI Glasgow. Which is in Scotland. This was a working lantern and has seen some use. It has been lovingly repaired and shows some tarnish. I have tried to show all this in the pictures. I have not attempted to clean it or change the batina. It stands 18" tall. It is missing one pane of glass which could be easily replaced. This is a very unique and collectible nautical item, very rare to find in this good condition because these lanterns were used at sea and exposed to salt conditions over long periods of time.

Hi. Up for sale is a vintage brass ship light that has been converted to a lamp. It looks great but has some wear and issues. It has some rust around the seams. There are a couple small chips in the glass. The glass globe is upside down. There is a screw missing off the back. There is no lamp shade. The lamp shade holder is loose. The dimensions(without the lamp extension) are about 16" to the top of the handle. It is about 10.5" deep and 10.5" wide.

Vintage Meteorite Copper and Brass Nautical Ships Light
This is a untouched original unrestored METEORITE ship light which measures 17" in height and 11" wide and deep. The light is made of copper and brass and has the original fresnel lense with no cracks. The are two chips(one very small and one about 1/2" on the lens edges. The original socket is in the light. The serial number on the front tag is II 442. There are a very limited supply of these lights. This is not a reproduction but and original vintage light right off a ship.

Tung Woo Trawling Oil Ships Lamp Brass and Copper
This beautiful Tung Woo Trawling Oil Ships Lamp Brass and Copper is very nice and has NO damage. Glass is perfect. The Red. Bluish Green and Clear glass is very nice. There are no dents, dings or other signs of heavy wear/use. There is some salt damage however slight and there is residue from Brasso. Lamp has been professionaly mounted on a piece of 3/4" oiled mahogany wood with a routed edge. The lamp mounts are screwed to the mahogany using brass and copper fasteners and the hanging wire is 1/8" stainless aircraft cable with nicopressed eyes on the ends and screwed to the mahogany using brass eye screws. The lamp in no way has been changed to accomodate it's mount. The mahogany is 6 1/2" wide and 10" tall. The lamp is 7 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide including mounting rings. I think no oil has ever been put ... morein the lamp and the wick is unlit. Lamp comes from the home with no kids. No pets and no smokers. The work on this is museum quality. Antique ships lantern lamp copper brass large look
This is a Large(approx. 17 1/2ins tall and approx 12ins wide) heavy( approx. 15lbs) vintage ships lantern. Which has a thick glass Fresno. It is metal which looks like brass and copper( see pics) and has a wooden base. It is electrified and has a place for a small bulb inside. I tested it with a working bulb but it did not light I imagine that it is either the switch or the wiring so it will need fixing The lamp came from an Estate sale and whilst I was not able to get a history on it I was told by the agents that it had been in the family for a long time. As you can see it has not been polished and is a little dusty( as were all the items at the sale! The glass is very thick and appears to be old with imperfections and bubbles. I found one minute flea bit chip in one of the ridges, I tried to show it on the photos but it can more be felt ... morethat seen. It is being sold as- found. Antique Brass Ships Lantern E. Miller & Co. Boston
This is a very different antique brass lantern. Probably used in the cabin of a ship or on a wall mount. The glass globe is not original. And not even old. But it does fit. I have never lit the lamp and is in as found condition. I am not near the coast anymore and figured someone may like it who is closer to the Ocean. It has great patina. I have never polished it. The fill cap has coinded edges and does unscrew easy. The wick adjustment does work and reads E. Miller& Co. Made in USA And then the large word Boston is on two sides of the lamp. Being all brass it was ment to be on or near the salt air. The inside is clean. I have never put fuel in the lamp. The lead on the bottom of the lamp was done I do not know when or what fore. Brass ships running lights tri color oil kerosene lantern WEDGE true antique d/l
This is a true nautical antique from the 1800's(or possibly earlier) It was used long before ships had electrical lighting. It uses an oil or kerosene lamp which illuminates the 3 glass lenses which have no cracks or damage. The lamp is marked WEDGE and the lantern has a hallmark which reads D over L in a diamond shape. This would make a great gift for the collector of nautical gear or a nautical museum. There is a wick attached but the turning wheel is frozen. The lantern in good condition for its age. In need of a tin burner of course.
