Antique Vintage Tung Woo oil lamp boat lights Port Starboard copper brass
These old boat lights are in very good original condition. The Port light is marked Tung Woo Hong Kong and the Starboard light isn’t marked but is an obvious match. They would look perfect in any maritime or nautical themed decor. Each measures 4 1/ x 4 1/2” x 8 1/2” high. Antique Maritime Oil Lamp Gavlvanized appearance but may be Brass
This Nautical Antique Oil Lamp has a galvanized appearance but I feel this is a patina created by use. I feel it may be brass or chrome plated brass as a magnet is not attracted to it. I did not want to disturb the surface as some of my buyers may appreciate the natural aging. It is 8 1/2" tall not including the top ring and 4 1/2" wide. The bottom screws off to access the oil. Container and wick. The globe in design looks something like those found in a lighthouse. As you can see from my description this is not my field of expertise, but this little lamp obviously speaks for its self to the maritime collector.

Here is a brass oil lamp is marked but is written in German I think please see photos.the The lamp looks to be in very good condition. It may be off of a ship or train. It has a bracket to mount it to a bulkhead or a wall that is with it. Just mount the bracket to the bulkhead or wall and the lamp just slides into the bracket so it can removed to refuel the light. This antique brass/copper oil lamp is in excellent condition and has a beautiful patina. Only 2 tiny dings at the very top of the chimney about 2mm wide. It measures 13.5"H by 7" W. I can not find a makers mark. But I don't want to polish it to find out. Many antique dealers prefer brass or copper items in there natural aged state. The glass is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks and is beveled. Still has the original oil container with wick and the wick turner does rotate.

Vintage Nautical Weighted Oil Lamp, Gimbal-Mount Brass Boat Lantern w/ Chimney
Antique Brass Ship's Oil Lantern. Looks like it was never used. Very nice condition; only one small dent in the wick assembly. And that can probably be pushed back from behind the guard very easily. There is no maker's mark or logo on the lamp. But there is an"RV" and an anchor on the wick turn knob. The glass chimney appears to be original to the lamp. Dimensions: 12 7/8" overall. 5 3/4" from back of mounting plate for the gimbal to the outside of the lamp. Chimney measures 6 7/8" in height and is 3 1/4" in diameter, the lamp body measures 7 1/2" tall and is 3 1/2" in diameter and 4 1/4" total width including the gimbal mounting pins that project 3/8" from either side of the lamp body. Pat. 1890 Tarnished Brass Marine Oil Lamp Lantern Light, much rarer than Perko
Beautiful darkly tarnished 10" tall brass marine lantern with no stress cracks. See 360 degree images. Heavy glass globe is damage free and has 3/4" dimple cast in it as some sort of focusing device{see image with flame} Spring clips that retain the oil font have 1890 patent dates on them. Good working burner uniquely flips up for refilling. Bottom of font is dented and has a large solder repair on in but does not leak and rest correctly in lantern base. Beautiful display piece or rare design with a great patina. Quite heavy.

This beautiful Tung Woo Trawling Oil Ships Lamp Brass and Copper is very nice and has NO damage. Glass is perfect. The Red. Bluish Green and Clear glass is very nice. There are no dents, dings or other signs of heavy wear/use. There is some salt damage however slight and there is residue from Brasso. Lamp has been professionaly mounted on a piece of 3/4" oiled mahogany wood with a routed edge. The lamp mounts are screwed to the mahogany using brass and copper fasteners and the hanging wire is 1/8" stainless aircraft cable with nicopressed eyes on the ends and screwed to the mahogany using brass eye screws. The lamp in no way has been changed to accomodate it's mount. The mahogany is 6 1/2" wide and 10" tall. The lamp is 7 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide including mounting rings. I think no oil has ever been put ... morein the lamp and the wick is unlit. Lamp comes from the home with no kids. No pets and no smokers. The work on this is museum quality. Vintage ~ Antique Pair Brass Nautical Oil Lamps with Gimbals(no glass shades) ~ heavy and solid. Each weighs 3 1/4 pounds, counting the gimbals ~ height is 8 1/4" ~ width at widest point is 3 1/2" Please view my photo's. As they are part of my description. These unrestored lamps are in nice condition. I have not polished them. No dents or dings. Wicks are present and will move up and down. All parts move freely. Both burners are hinged. This is an Antique PERKO Solid Brass Marine OIL Lantern Towing Lamp with RED lens. This is a very old original Marine lantern. I believe off of a Tug/ Tow Boat. It is an OIL lantern. The bottom detaches a Oil lantern. The Glass lens has NO cracks, but the red film has spidering, see pictures. Glass intact. It is labeled with PERKO- Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corporation- Made in Miami, Florida. It is about 18" tall, the flat sides are 10" across and about 15" across. The large brass lantern has Great Patina! This is all original vintage,oil lantern, no electrifying. Collector's take a close look- You won't find one with this age and in this condition often. The oil lamp has National Marine Lamp company stamped on knob and is in good condition but, should have new wick installed. The hinge to bottom is missing and should be repaired. Old Brass Whale Oil Gimbal Swinging Lamp
Wonderful turned brass whale oil lamp with hinged cover and saucer base. My understanding is that these were used on ships as the top would pivot as the vessel swayed. I think it is missing the interior wick holder and as I look at my photo. The saucer may be slightly out of round in one area. There is also a very. Very small area on the outer rim of the top part that is filled in with a pewter colored material(mentioned for brutal honesty– I don’t know what the point of this would be) Measures 5-1/2” to top finial.
