ANTIQUE Stag Horn Gimbaled Handle Ship Oil Lamp This auction is for a Very Rare Hallmarked Antique Stag Horn Gimbaled Ship Oil Lamp. This little old lamp. Gimbaled to balance on a ship, is in great antique condition with some patina. It stands approximately 3 ¾” high and is approximately 9” to the end of the horn. The hallmark appears on the gimbaled portion of the handle. It takes a 3/16” round wick(not included) The base of the lamp appears to be brass, the flame cap copper and we are unsure of the metal in the wick holder. The glass is melon shaped and very heavy. This is a great antique nautical find This is a ships table lamp light. Keyhole on bottom attaches it to table or wall to hold secure and yet can be removed. Comes with an extra long cord with a toggle switch for turning on and off. Older cord may want to update if using or leave original cord for collecting. It has a blackish finish on the base and on the shade might just be aged patina doesn't appear to be paint. It has a gold scfroll design on both the base and shade. Shade and base have some dings but in overall good condition. Shade attaches to bulb. Lamp does work and has a 60 watt bulb(not included) Shade has some tiny white paint dots. Large Antique Nautical Lantern Vintage 5-way Green Ship Lamp Port& Starboard Used- Antique Nautical Lantern This lantern has some discoloration around glass and on seams. Pictures reflect a bent spot along one of the upper seams. Approximate size is 14.5" tall including carry handle by 9" wide. This lantern has NOT been converted to an electrical light. I have included the lighted pictures so you can see the brilliance of the green glass. Glass does not have any cracks or major scratches in them. The glass does not have any marks in the glass, other than what appears to be consistent with how glass was made during that time. I do not know the exact age of this lantern. However it is the only one I have seen with 5 semi-globe sections. I was going to convert this Kerosene/oil lamp into a lighted lamp and clean it up for my nautical ... morethemed room, but never got around to it. I now am moving and liquidating some of my stuff. I did pay quit a bit for this lamp due to its unusualness and size, however I am willing to take any reasonable offers. This would be a great old kerosene o conversion lantern to put in a parlor, back porch, sitting room or make great lighting for movie night. I prefer the green over your normal red port lights because it is a little softer and not as aggressive in nature depending on your usage or if you decide to use it for a child's night lantern for sleeping. This listing is for a large solid brass ship's lantern marked"PERKINS MARINE LAMP& HDWE CORP. It measures approximately 14-3/4" tall(excluding handle) and has a base diameter of 7-1/8" The lantern has been painted black over the brass which shows through in several places(see photos) The lantern is an estate find and we do not know if the paint is original. The high quality of the paint job prompts us to wonder. The glass globe has no cracks in it and the original tank plug is present. The glass is marked Perko 31-L-17A. The oil burner is missing. The lantern takes an oil burner with a 1-3/16 ID thread. Antique Vintage Ship Cabin Tabletop Lamp With Bell Rare Nice Works
This is a genuine old nautical tabletop bell lamp that was designed not to turnover in rough seas. It also has a working bell at the top. I suppose the bell would ring as the seas became rough enough to rock the lamp around. Thus waking the sleeping occupant of the cabin and alerting them to the conditions(just a guess on my part) Either way. This is one cool and rare old lamp! It appears to be in original condition. The cord is old and frayed and probably should be changed. But I did not want to alter the originality. The lamp does work. As you can see in the photos. It has a switch on one side. Frosted glass shade and a bell on the top. You can't knock this thing over! It just rolls until it comes back to its upright position. Please review the detailed listing photos. I cannot find any markings but most of these were made by the famous Perko Marine Lantern Company of Brooklyn. New York. This handsome old lamp has a brass top with ring. Two separate red and blue GLOBES with divider, and a hanger on the back. It is about 10" tall to the top of hanger and 8" wide at the divider. Pair of 2- Old Brass ship lanterns. Made by the PERKINS MARINE LAMP CORP. out of Brooklyn New York. Brass Has a beautiful natural aged patina. The original glass lens is starting to turn a very slight amethyst color. The lanterns inside were made by E. MILLER Co. And are marked. Look at the pictures closely. This is exactly the way I found them. I think they would polish up nicely. They measure about 17-1/2" tall(including the bail) and each weighs close to 9 pounds. In excellent condition. And would clean up nicely if you choose to do so. Both show expected wear. And have a few dings. Overall in Very Good Condition.

2 ANTIQUE BRASS SHIP MARINE NAUTICAL LANTERNS ELECTRIC LAMP BIRDCAGE PERKINS
I apologize for the length but I wanted to be thorough. Up for sale are two antique nautical oil lanterns that were converted for electrical use. After some Internet research I found a match for these lanterns. They are not stamped but identically match the Perkins Marine Lamp Corporation models made during 1916 to 1931. These were considered a"standing light" and were used aboard US Naval torpedo boats. Battle ships and destroyers of the WW1 era, according to"Lanterns That Lit Our World" book 2 page 120 by Anthony Hobson. Size is 17.5 inches tall and about 9 pounds each. These may or may not have been used in that capacity but they due seem genuine even thought they are not stamped with a company name. In any case as you can see one is red and the other is green. The coloring does not seem to be original according to ... morethe research but you can decide whether to keep it that way or remove the paint. Both lanterns have colored bulbs that will come with this auction. Condition The paint on the red lantern is about 50% missing. It was difficult to get a good picture that represented how the red lantern looks with the bulb on. But there is a picture taken from inside the glass to show the condition of the paint. The red lantern also has 3 vertical seams and do not appear to be cracks. I believe the glass was replaced when they were converted since the lines are straight and do not appear to be damage related. The red lantern also has two screws in the bottom, see pic, to hold the bulb/lantern housing in place. The green lantern has a dent in the top, see pic. The"hanging hooks" are a bit out of square as seen in the pictures. I have not found any cracks or holes in the brass housing that should not be there. Both lights have pull strings to turn lights on and off without unplugging. Both have old two prong style plugs. The oil lamp bases are original aside from the electrical retrofitting that took place. There is some soldering and repair work on bulb housing but it cant be seen unless yo

This listing is for a pair of Vintage Antique Perko Nautical Marine Ship Port and Starboard Oil Lamp Lanterns. Both lanterns are marked Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Perko Brooklyn. NY, USA. The lanterns are in good shape for their age and the lanterns themselves stand about 9 inches tall. They do have some dents and dings towards the tops of the lanterns but the glass has no cracks and is in good shape. They do have alot of oxidation, minor on the outside and major on the inside. I was not going to clean them because I did not want to discolor them but they will hopefully clean up very nicely if cleaned properly. In the last picture you can see one hinge is slightly bent so it is a little harder to close and open that side of the lantern but each opening on the lanterns do lock.
