Extraordinary Antique Art Nouveau Cast Iron Fireplace Cover & Surround NSC47
Stunning antique Art Nouveau three-piece fireplace cover and surround. Circa 1890’s. The cast iron set is framed with an elegant, looping Art Nouveau motif with stylized flowers, and features a hammered texture throughout. The top insert is ornamented with a pierced and convex medallion at its center composed of interlocking bands. Below, the bottom insert features a complimentary pierced design with a pattern of curling foliates. This set is in very good antique condition with some rust as pictured. Antique Cast Iron Fireplace Surround and Summer Cover- Native American Scene
This Antique Cast Iron Fireplace Surround and Summer Cover features a fantastic Native American Scene of two seated Indians- one holding a bow on a stump. At a campsite shootin' the breeze after a successful hunt with a fire in front of a teepee, their beached canoe from the river in the foreground all in a dense woodland. All matching numbers on all four pieces of 474. Good shape with the cover having some copper plate loss and oxidation. With no repairs what-so-ever. The knobs are original with one being slightly dented. The surround has been repaired and welded and has been touched up with paint. The surround is common, where as the cover is not. This measures 30 1/4" wide by 30" tall overall and weighs 47 pounds actual. Pictures were taken inside with this being bone dry- neither wet down nor oiled. With and without flash, ... moreand the truest color is the pics without flash. This will be crated for shipping and figured 10 pounds additional for this in the shipping calculator- if you're not in the lower 48. This will ship UPS ground insured. I have a nice solid antique fireplace surround for sale. It looks to be cast iron and its heavy enough to be. It looks to be at-least 100 years old. Its in good solid shape but needs cleaned up. This is an extremely rare antique mosaic tile fireplace surround from around the 1850's. It measures 56.5 inches wide by 38 inches tall. And the opening is about 27 inches square without the cast iron insert and about 25 with it. Its really incredible and super heavy coming in at about 200lbs. Complete original cast iron fireplace surround and cover. In very good condition with light rust in areas. It appears to be george and martha washington but not sure. Antique Victorian Ornate Figural Cast Iron Fireplace Front/Insert/Surround
Ornate late nineteenth century cast iron fireplace insert. Curved front with two faces surrounded by a garland. Overall in good condition, rust present but no irreversible damage(could be sanded and either repainted or powdercoated) 19-3/4" wide, 13-1/16" high, 3-11/16" at the deepest point.
