These Tongs are in amazing condition for the age. The tongs are hinged. And only one side moves. There is a hand hammered pin in the cast top piece that holds the hinge together. You can also see the hammer marks on the bends just beside the hinge. The tongs measure 23 inches tall and they're 3 inches wide at the hinge. The tongs were painted at some point and there is significant paint loss. No Rust though. Excellent Rare example here. Statue Of Liberty Smoking Stand/light Circa Late 1930's Antiques Brass Copper
This is awesome and the light works! It's been cleaned a bit and boy does it shine. It could use a little more TLC. What a find made in the late 30's early 40's it has etchings of many American treasures. It has four inserts up top. Two spining ashtrays. One canister with lid and one electric lighter which is all there and looks great but need to be worked on. I would but know nothing about this kind of repair. The switch is always on it doesn't turn off. Very easy fix, but I'm not handy. It copper and brass and weights at least 25 to 35 pounds and is about 30 inches tall. I tried to give many pictures, but please ask any questions. Please judge condition by the pictures. This is a very rare piece get it while its available. I can not even find this item availible I can only find where it sold in another auction and it ... moredidn't even have a power cord. So here is your chance for half of that price. Very Early American Hand-blown Carafe circa 1750 Appraised on Antiques Roadshow
This carafe was appraised and evaluated by Antiques Roadshow and dated circa 1750. It is hand blown and shaped. It valued at auction for $750.00. There are markings such as very small lines and bubbles within the glass that are specific to the very early Amerian glass blowers. There appears to be a tiny inner crack in the neck near the lip as shown in the third picture. It is a beautiful piece and remarkably well preserved. There are no chips or cracks other than what I have mentioned. The wear on the piece is all on the bottom as I have pictured. It is a heavy piece weighing 3.2 lbs. It stands 9 inches tall and the widest part of the bowl measures 6 inches across. I will pay insurance on the shipping since it is such a valuable piece. Thanks for looking!

This was purchased as an antique from Birks Antiques department in Montreal around 1960 and given as a commemorative gift to the master of a hunt club. And so engraved on the opposite side from the armorial. This is visible in the the photos. An interesting turn-of the-19th-century decorative old Sheffield silver-plate wine cooler. Ornate handles and grape-cluster rim. The three parts are all present and in good condition. Body, rim and liner, as the photos show. This basket looked a lot like the one on antiques roadshow Mine has no defects(the stain inside is where the hot rock sat during cookery.that's what this basket was for. So intricate and tight probably took 1 year to make. Held water. Acorn paste and then a hot rock was lifted from the fire to cook. Basket measures approximately 10" at its widest, and 6" tall. Antiques Standard-Werk #8 Food Grinder Circa 1930s
For your consideration and subsequent purchase is an rare Pre-WWII food grinder manufactured by the Standard-Werk Company or Germany-Austria. Add it to your collection or use it to produce ground meat. Dried corn, rice, coffee or nuts. This company manufactured the#8 grinders in very limited amounts due to the shortage of raw materials just prior to the start of the war. When WWll began their inventory was confiscated and melted down as they because part of the war effort from 1939 to 1945. When the war ended they began manufacturing food grinders and other household products again under a U.S. license agreement. This grinder works very well. Early antique souvenir lamp of St. Augustine. Florida. Circa 1890-1900. The only antique souvenir lamp of St. Augustine I have ever seen. Rare. In excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Available with or without the common shade. Likely made in Germany or English, with Staffordshire like decals. Mounted on a metal base. Ceramic lamp 9 inches high, with metal base 11 inches. Height to top of lamp where shade rests 19 1/2 inches. Width of ceramic base at widest, 5 1/2 inches.
