Complete with pendulum, winding crank and 2 weights. see photos. some normal minor nicks, bumps and wear, good veneer, very nice condition clock for being well over 100 years old. It does run and strike but may stop after a few hours, last night it ran over night. and the strike seems to be fine, striking on the hour. so selling as is. 30 hour time& strike movement, approx clock date of 1880 but may be older as the label maker is Benham who made a lot of labels in the 1850's, note label inside case. It is the columns that are unusual. They are rounded or curved but are not half columns. they are more of a fake column, perhaps a transition between the Ogee period and the Column period. see photos. Up for bid is a beautiful mirrored Ridgeway Bracket Triple Chime Mantel Clock in excellent condition. Inside and out. Its movement is a German Franz Hermle, serial 1050-020 made in West Germany, 2 jewels. The case is solid burl Wood face with glass"windows" on sides and the back mirrored so you can watch the chimes in movement. The glass door has an excellent magnetic hinge and clasp mechanism. The front door opens fully for access to the dial for ease of setting. The glass has no cracks or scratches and is solidly set in place. The glass and dial are in excellent shape. Overall it is a beautiful and solid clock. It chimes once every quarter hour. Every half, three-quarter and for each hour in succession as it advances through the day in a clear chime. Fabulous Deco Beveled Mirrored &Crystal- Boudoir/Mantel/ table lamps
One of the most special pair of beveled. wheel cut mirrored lamps as I have seen in my 24yrs. in the business. All mirrors are in great condition. No cracks.Chips or replacements. Crystals are also all there and in great condition. One on/ off switch has been replaced and wiring has been wear checked and tested. candle covers are vintage-not sure if they are original to the lamps but they are old and in age appropriate condition. Antique Ogee Weight Driven Mantel Clock Mirrored Door Parts Repair Restore
Up for bid is an antique Ogee clock with a mirrored door. The paper label on the inside is gone. So we are unsure of the maker. There are lots of signatures and dates on the inside of the door. The earliest date we can make out is 1854. It measures approx. 26 3/8" x 15 3/4" x 4 1/4" with a 8" clock face. We are listing this as a parts/repair/restore clock as there is some nicks/scratches/minor damage to the case, the minute hand is missing. And it is not working; it ticks for a minute, then slows to a stop, it may just need cleaned and oiled. This would make an excellent candidate for a beautiful restoration piece.
