Up for consideration is an antique lap desk. It is English with some nice brass inlay and is circa 1840. This piece came from the famous Henry Stern Antique shop in Louisiana. Henry Stern is world renown for his antique shops in the French Quarter and was one of the biggest collectors/dealers of his time.
