Nice undamaged set, shows some use, primarily on the shovel as you can see, some on the base, some on the brush but it is still pretty nice. Stands 19" ... morehigh. A short set, likely designed for a coal appliance. Includes the stand, shovel, brush, poker and forceps tongs. There are markings on the back of the stand setter but they are difficult to read. Looks like a combination of letters and numbers. Under the base is marked "Peerage England". The company did most of their work from 1910 to 1940 or so. I have included a couple of shipping options depending on where you might be. Packed carefully.

Rare H. Sims Vintage English Fly Reel Brass And Bone Handle Antiques Fly Fishing
Description: A scarce H. Sims of Newcastle 2 3/4" brass and ebonite trout fly reel. Horn handle, German silver rims, bridge foot, triple cage pillars, fixed check mechanism. RareH. Sims Vintage English Fly Reel* This is an H. Sims Newcastle English reel. It is all brass except for a bone handle. On the face of the reel is engraved H. Sims and on the bottom is engraved Newcastle. This Antique reel is a wonderful show piece. And it is still fully functional as a fly reel if you desire to dip back into nostalgia and use it. This is one of the first models of fly reels that formed the modern looking fly reels that we have today, so it is also historically important. I originally bought the reel to use with an old 1927 Leonard Bamboo Fly Rod, but I loved the antiquarian look of it too much to commission it, so here we are. So if you do decide ... moreto use it on the water. It will work just fine for you. It has100 yards of backing and a soft Cortland WF8F Fly Line seeded on it. This reel is a real diamond for anyone into fly fishing and antiques. So please ask any questions you have of this Vintage Antique H. Sims Brass Fly Reel. And I will do my best to answer you as quickly as I can. Because of the age and the rareness of this H. Sims English Fly Reel. There will be no returns on this vintage fly reel on this online auction. So please be sure of what you are bidding on and bid accordingly to receive this Rare Vintage H. Sims English Fly Reel. Only one did I find and that was sold in England and they would only say it was a very rare online sale. ~ Happy Bidding And Thank You For Visiting. PARNHAM PARK- ANTIQUE ENGLISH FURNITURE, TEXTILES, SILVER & ANTIQUES -Christie's
An Interesting Auction Catalog- Parham Park. Pulborough, West Sussex. Selected Furniture, Works of Art, Silver, Textiles, Costume, Linen, European Porcelain and Glass” The catalog to an auction held in London by Christie's on May 13-14. 1996. description continues below the picture- DISCUSSION: A selection of very fine antiques- superb English furniture. Silver and ceramics, and an extraordinary assortment of antique linens& textiles. Parham Park is an Elizabethan house in Cootham. Between Storrington and Pulborough, West Sussex, South East England, originally owned by the Monastery of Westminster and granted to Robert Palmer by King Henry VIII in 1540. The foundation stone was laid in 1577 by the two year old Thomas Palmer, and Parham has been a family home ever since. Thomas Bishopp(later Sir Thomas Bishopp, 1st Baronet) bought ... moreParham House in 1597. For 325 years his descendants continued to live at Parham House Estate until January 1922. Then in 1922 the Hon. Clive Pearson, younger son of Viscount Cowdray, bought Parham from Mary, 17th Baroness Zouche in her own right, and he and his wife Alicia opened the house to visitors in 1948, after the Second World War when it had also been home to evacuee children and Canadian soldiers. Off the Long Gallery at the top of the house there is a fascinating exhibition which touches on the period between 1922 and 1948, with many family photographs as well as photographs of the building works which took place during that time. Mr and Mrs Pearson, followed by their daughter Veronica Tritton, spent more than 60 years carefully restoring Parham and filling it with a sensitively chosen collection of beautiful old furniture, paintings and textiles, also acquiring items originally in the house. There is a particularly important collection of early needlework. What they created at Parham is a rare survival of mid 20th Century connoisseurship within a major Elizabethan house. Now owned by a charitable trust, Parham House and Gardens are surrounded by some 875 acres(3.54

English Brown Oak wood veneer 4" x 34" antiques 4493-24
MEASUREMENTS: 4 x 34 inches. Just a nice run of the mill veneer. Perfect for that small repair on that antique with a lifted corner. The price is per consecutive sheet or leaf. If you have any questions please contact me. SHIPPING: this item is $9.75 for the first sheet to the continental United States. Please note: If you purchase from 2 or more different bundles I will do my best to combine items into one package. Simply shop until you are finished. I will send you a invoice that reflects the shipping cost. Remember if purchasing items from 2 or more bundles do not pay until you are invoiced. The veneer sheets are approx 1/42" or.6mm thick. Payment by PayPal only. Shipping by USPS only. International customers pay for USPS Priority International rate. PHILOSOPHY ABOUT THE VENEERS I SELL: As a woodworker myself I only offer veneers ... morethat I would want to use myself. I look at each bundle veneer and think"What can I make from this? If I can't easily use it then I won't sell it. Are my veneers perfect? No. I do my best to describe any flaws such as end checks, voids and knots. I do not consider short repairable grain splits as flaws but just part of the normal handling of raw wood veneers. Since I have the advantage of having the veneer in front of me I know what color the wood actually is. I like to use plenty of pictures so you can see what your buying. Other than a flash I don't alter the images to enhance their appearance. I will at times partially wet an area to reveal how nice the grain is when a finish is applied. REMEMBER.DISCOUNTED SHIPPING RATE WHEN YOU BUY 2 OR MORE ITEMS! I really do my best to combine items practical. Powered by The free listing tool.
