Beautiful antique Humphrey Radiant Fire gas heater. This phenomenal piece came out of one of the largest and most beautiful old Victorian homes in this area. I love the lines and the detail on this heater- wonderful old brass finials. Take a look at the pictures and use the zoom feature to truly appreciate what you are seeing. I cleaned this up a little bit. But you will want to give it a good detail cleaning to bring out all of its original beauty. My understanding is that is was working when it was disconnected. But if you plan to use it for anything other than display, I would strongly recommend having a professional look it over. Measures about 24 1/2" W x 22" H x 10" D and is very heavy. Aumphrey around 1917. The No. 20 Radiantfire gas unit retains the original ceramic inset or radiating element. The Humphrey Company was founded in 1901. As the General Gas Light Company in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Painted a shiny black finish with 2 black brass look finials on the top sides. Cermaic insert reads HUMPHREY RADIANTFIRE No 20.
