Probably post WWI/ 1920's from the glass, which has a great ... moreArt Deco look. The glass is thick and sturdy. The wiring looks like the kind you find in old knob and tube electrical and it would certainly need rewiring. It does have a great look and all of the parts appear to be here including the collar that fits to the ceiling and the chain and its hardware necessary to hang it. As for the metal. I believe it is brass or something with brass plating over it. Some spots show the wear on the surface and I would take steel wool to it as the underneath looks like brass also. There are also a few rust spots on the very bottom that could benefit from a good cleaning. Restored, it would make a lovely addition to a post Victorian, Art Deco building. Dimensions: 11" tall 15" across the widest points of the arms. 5.5" diameter of the collar. Will be ship as is with lots of packing material. Serious downsizing means that this and many other wonderful items must go so check out my other auctions for outstanding buys. There are lots of photos to show you every exquisite detail so please examine carefully. The photographs are of the actual item and represent not retouched photos that I have taken myself. The large outer ring and three upper concentric rings are decorated with acanthus leaf glass mounts. There are six missing acanthus leaves, and may be a few missing crystal chains, but we will be happy source and install any needed crystals prior to shipment. Central stem and upper and lower ring were recently regilded(excluding the wire mounted rings) and the fixture has been newly rewired and is ready for installation.
