Huge Victorian Blacksmiths Forge bellows, Industrial, Steampunk, Elm Wood, Prop
These would look stunning in an industrial interior. Perhaps convert to a coffee table or just create a great talking point. Also ideal as a prop for a film set or how about a fantastic steampunk project? They definately have a Jules Verne look about them! Removed from a blacksmiths shop these antique bellows are in remarkable condition for an item of this nature and age. Very rare to find one of these where the leather isn't in tatters. There are one or two small holes and some rubbing but really very good considering(more detailed photos to come) The woodwork. Which I'm fairly sure is elm is very sound and secure, a few isolated worm holes but probably long dead and I've treated it anyway for good measure. The wood has been scraped and sanded to reveal a nice grain and then finished with high quality Osmo oil. Most of the studs, ... morewhich I think could be made of lead? are in place and secure. There is as you can see some heat damage to the nozzle tip but all the metal surrounding is rock solid. It'd be fairly straight forward to weld a new cone tip on if you so wished. They do actually work as intended. at least in the fact they project a good volume of air when squeezed. I was told they where originally suspended from the ceiling and operated by a long pull down lever. Which is included(photo later) Haven't got the exact sizes to hand at the moment but will update later. I'd say approx 6ft+ overall length. Obviously very heavy and will take 2-3 people to lift. Here is a great old find! This is an antique victorian architectural drawing with floor plans and maps for a victorian house. These plans were drawn by Rorison and Key Architects. The plans were for a house on Normal Street in Ypsilanti Michigan for a Mr. De Cue. Each page is drawn on a coated cloth paper with paper maps attached on the back of each page. The maps are property owners names and how many acres they owned. The drawings include a south view of the house. Second floor layout, first floor layout and a basement layout. The drawings are rolled and attached to a wooden dowel covered with a heavy canvase. There are some rips, torn pages and other minor defects. Please review the photos for the item condition. This is an antique item and is not a reprint drawing!

Antique Victorian Counter Hotel Tall Service Bell w/ Acorn Striker Nickel Plated
This neat old bell measures 5 1/2" tall and is in working condition. The nickel plate is worn off of the button and the acorn shaped striker. There is some high spot wear on the base as well. This bell must have taken a tumble at some time- there is a nick out of the button base which does not affect the operation of the bell. If you look closely. Historic Wrought Iron Fence 1850 Victorian
Historic wrought iron fence circa 1850. This is a more desirable wrought iron fence and not a later cast iron fence. Photos from history book showing same fence. Fence by W.T. Barbee Fence Works. Chicago IL, Lafayette IN. Fence includes 7 fence segments which are 7 ft long(49 ft not including gate or width of fence posts) There are 4 large fence posts(one is missing decorative finial) and 5 smaller fence posts. There are also 2 tie rods and five anchor plates which I am not sure how they were used(would be optional to install to have a functional fence but are nonetheless included) The original owners who had removed the fence in hopes of reusing it couldn't remember either. The fence is straight and there are no noticeable bends on any finials. The gate has been professionally sand blasted and powder coated and shows the potential of ... morea restored fence. The white colored fence post has been sand blasted and primed but not painted or powder coated. The remainder of the fence is in original condition and should be restored before use. Fence gate works with a wonderful hinge(the base of the gate hinge has 2 vertical pins that rotate through the heart-shaped bracket on the fence post) Closure is by a tension bar with handle. The four large fence posts all have cast iron footings that are buried in the ground. They are removable and so for ease of photography I set one post on a construction stool instead of reattaching the footing in the photo of the gate. Fence has known provenance. A pair of late Victorian decorative cast iron brackets. 14 3/4" high, 11" length from wall. The decorative element reminds me of the type of"gingerbread" that you see on Aesthetic period bamboo furniture. The iron looks like steam-bent wood or bamboo that has been lashed in place with rattan. The surface is so crusty with old paint coats that I'm sure that more detail and maybe even a foundry name would be revealed when these are stripped. They have single mounting holes at the bottom and double mounting holes at the top. One mounting hole is broken off of one bracket but you are still left with sufficient holes to mount it securely. Vintage Drapery Hardware Painted Cast Iron 40+ Pieces Victorian
Hi. You are bidding on a vintage lot of(Victorian? decorator drapery hardware. The pieces seem to be in very nice condition and would look great in a house. I will try to accurately describe the pieces as best as I can. But my drapery knowledge is limited. You are getting 5 shield shaped pieces with garland on each side. These pieces have a back clip which looks like it attached to a rod. One of these has a tiny bit of damage along one edge. There are two fleur de lis like shaped pieces with large brackets on the back which I assume are the tie backs. There are 11 fleur de lis like shaped pieces which are flat with a spade shaped bottom like it sat in something else or probably went into a flat rod. There are 9 brackets(L shaped) which are painted to match the other hardware. There are 20+ rounded rings which I guess carried the curtains ... morealong the rod. The lot is painted a very nice old red. Gold and some green. The brackets are painted to try and replicate the same style. Each cast iron piece is marked Pat App. The brackets are metal and not cast iron. But they match style nicely. This is a very interesting lot which surely is from the early 1900's. These pieces could be used as designed. Or repurposed for something else. This lot is very heavy. 12 pounds plus and each piece will be individually wrapped, so plan for 13+ pounds shipping weight.

Antique Victorian Gothic fretwork tracery oak glass light lantern from a church
A beautiful antique Victorian Gothic Revival church lantern made from oak/ oak veneer and graduated frosted glass. The lantern itself is square profile. Measuring 6" x6" across the moulded oak framed top and 5.5" x 5.5" across the similar open base. The wooden structure stands 6.75" high, plus the hanging arrangement which is fitted to the original oak/oak veneer shaped central plate- this sill has its original tiny domed screws. The 4 original panels of frosted/sand-blasted glass are graduated from a speckled terracotta/rust colour at the top to colourless at the bottom, giving a lovely warm, mellow tone to the lighting. The panels are still held in by the tiny, original metal tabs and pins inside the oak frame. The gorgeous Gothic tracery fretwork panels are cut from what looks like an oak veneered board rather ... morethan solid oak(but I could be wrong) All this and the dark oak dyed& waxed finish are completely intact and original. There are a couple of tiny chips/ scuffs to the oak here and there which are inevitable given the age of this piece, but no faults to the fragile tracery and no splits, repairs or other problems. I bought this lantern from a church antiques specialist when I first moved into my Victorian Gothic house around 10 years ago and it has been hanging here and in use ever since. I had a very nice antique copper finish bulb holder with integral hanging hook fitted along with bronze coloured new(safe! flex and a very authentic looking Gothic style bronze finish chain with ceiling rose and internal electrical fittings for direct wiring to the household mains. It is 100% ready to hang elsewhere. Easily postable. I am aiming to keep the bubblewrapped, padded and strongly boxed lantern parcel to within the Royal Mail's'up to 2kg, medium parcel' rate. WOW! Amazing 1880s Victorian Spandrels- architectural salvage that has amazing spindles and corbels. There are 6 pieces total in various states. Mostly sound wood although a few minor cracks or dings in places, and some holes with dowels, don't know the function of these. One has been repainted or was in the process of being repainted, the others are original paint. These were going to be made into a gazebo but now we are moving and it is one of those projects we never got around to doing. These would look great on any porch(we have a victorian home) or could be used as an entrance into any room. Or unique decorative item. The bells, fixing plates, return springs and arms are all original but the flower decorations are good quality reproductions. Originally they weren't in great condition and had numerous coats of paint. All the bells, arms and fixing plates have been cleaned and lightly polished and both springs stripped cleaned and finished with an iron paste in the traditional way. Late 1800's Cast Iron Parlor Stove Pediment with Trent Stove Tile. Victorian parlor stoves were very ornate and often decorated with ceramic tiles that were custom made to fit into the cast iron. The 2-piece cast iron pediment exhibits stylized Gothic Revival motifs. It is nickel plated.With wear and surface rust.A little elbow grease with OOO steel wool may bring up more of the plating. The tile is marked Trent(Trenton,NJ) and has chips as seen on some high points,but no cracks. The crescent shaped notch is moulded into the tile at the factory to prevent round tiles from spinning,as it sits around a pin in the cast iron.
