Two original art nouveau pressed metal door finger plates they are 10.5" long and just over 2.75" wide the fixing holes are 9.5" and 1.75" apart there is some pitting to the plate but they are still in good usable condition we have left these unpolished as they have a lovely patina that has built up over time however. It has made it a little difficult to see what metal they are. They are definately pressed metal/tin not solid copper or brass. We think that the beading is a brass plate and the background is a copper plate but are not 100% sure I am selling more of these as well as some more in a different design and will happily amalgamate to save on postage POSTAGE IS CHARGED AT COST. Offered is a nice Vintage Hammered Copper or Brass Lavabo Indoor or Garden Wall Décor Planter. The top portion measures approx. 21” long by 10 ¾” wide at the widest point. And is approx. 3” front to back. The bottom measures approx. 15” wide at the widest point by 4 ½” tall. It is approx. 4 ½” front to back. This lavabo is in good vintage condition with no holes or cracks. There are a few minor dings here& there and a wonderful natural aged patina. Consistent with that of 75 to 100+ year old antique metal wares. It is crafted of copper or brass. Maybe even a combination of the two. 1920s Industrial Elevator Gate -- Copper and Brass
This industrial elevator gate came from a 1920s Otis elevator. It is all copper and brass except for the half-inch steel feet at the bottom. It is 40 inches wide by 88 inches high and weighs approximately 140 pounds. It consists of vertical copper pipes held together with brass linkages. With brass hooks at the top that would have allowed the gate to hang, and steel feet that would have slid in a groove along the elevator floor. It sat in storage with one owner for over 60 years. We have done nothing to it. We know what this gate is worth in scrap, and we will not sell it to scrappers. Local pickup only, local area delivery for a nominal fee.
