These are a set of Patina Blackened roses that have been in my collection forever and I am letting go. The aging on these roses cannot be duplicated because the weather has done it all. I have about 30 pairs I will be selling and each pair is a little different so when you receive them they may look slightly different. They are old and weathered with great blacks and other colors that make each pair unique.due to the exposesure of the elements.They have a great texture due to metal being aged. 2 1/2" round. 1 1/2" in height approx. These are wonderful for scrapbooking. Simply adding a magnet to the back and putting on your refrigerator, adding to a special craft project, or welding on gates, chandeliers ect. Description For auction is a vintage French Jielde industrial desk light in original working condition. This is a good original piece dating from the fifties not a modern reproduction. It has the riveted black etiquette label and finished in metallic green paint. With a heat resistant white inner globe. This classic lamp has 2 x 40cm arms and is fully articulated all of the joints are nice and tight. The globe has no dents and has the switch located on the neck. The base has a cable side entry groove and would be normally either screwed to a desk or to the wall. All Jielde lamps can be extended by buying more arms and contacts, they can also be mounted on car disk brakes to add stability when used as floor or table lamps. Condition is original and working however it will need a new lead fitting. I would not try to bend them straight as this could break a joint and anyway, this is part of their provenance. They have a cable entry/exit at both ends. The new internal light fittings are UK sourced quality brass. The 4 mounting points are in good order and set it off nicely. So there were not a lot of these bricks made, and the stamp they used back then to stamp McLoud was light so a lot of them are unreadable now making them even more sought after. This brick here is one of the best readable ones I have come across to date. Established in June ... more1895 the original town was destroyed by flood and rebuilt on higher ground 1 mile south. As of 2010 it had just over 4,000 people. In 1949 it was recognized as the"Blackberry Capital of the World" when the Chamber of Commerce sent a crate of blackberries to President Harry Truman. And I am still listing items from my antique store trip as well as the farm auction sale- there’s loooots of new items this week, and something for everyone! Some times the most simple items end up being my favorites. As is the case with this pair. I have no idea what they came off of- but they were clearly part of something larger at one point in time. They are old. 2-20's-30's is my guess, and they have the BEST original shabby deco green finish(I can see what I think are some peeks of white too, so they may have been white before that) You can see that that have been cut to the size that they are- both exactly the same size of 14 15/16" long and 15/16" diameter(so, just 1/16" shy of 1" ... morewide) Wouldn't they make great towel rods for you? There's so many things that I can think that you could do with them, and you can't buy this patina new! There's lots of shabby wear to it, where you can see down to the dark rich patins of the wood. Scratches, scrapes and general wear to the wood and finish along with some nicks, dings and random teenie holes to the wood. All that being said, I wouldn't change a thing- they are gorgeous, and they are in excellent solid and sturdy condition- totally strong. Each on weighs about 1/4 lb. Love them! 2 Vintage Coffeville. Kansas Vitrified Brick& Tile Co. Bricks/ Street Pavings These 2 paving bricks are what our roads used to be made of& they are in excellent condition. And why is that. Well these were never put down on the road so they were never driven across and wore down. These came out of an old building, and after about a week of cleaning all the mortar off they came out pretty nice. They weight over 9 pounds each. You just do not find them like this with the letters so intact. These would make great door stops or paper weights, or just excellent condition bricks to upgrade ones collection. Oak Stick & Ball Doorway Fretwork Spandrel Vintage 2 Sided Ornate Spindle Panel
Magnificent. Architectural fretwork in terrific overall condition! Solid oak construction& nicely finished on both sides. Pierced, see-through design brackets at each end and one in the middle. Tapered, repeating spindles with balls across the front. Mounting holes and small pyramid detail at each tip. It measures approx. 63 1/2 inches by about 18 inches. This is Victorian style and vintage age. One small crack, otherwise near perfection. Many other unusual, architectural artifacts listed. All questions encouraged and answered.
