Antique Bronze Rod Rail Holder Support
This is a very heavy metal fitting or support for something. I do not know exactly what it is. It does appear to be very old. And possibly handmade. It is certainly not made with modern tooling I think. It is very solid and weighs over a pound. The two brighter, silver colored bands might be welds, I'm not sure. This item is about six inches high and two and three-quarter inches in diameter at the base. The support area is curved. I guess to support a rod or pipe or something rounded, and is an inch wide and a bit less than two inches long. I can take more photos and I will answer any questions you may have about this item. FATIGUED FRENCH FINDS This is a pair of simply stunning antique French bronze legs for a console or furniture. They are in the Rococo style and are dripping with shells. Acanthus leave, oak leaves and other organic embellishments. They are hollow in the centre but very heavy. Each leg weighs approximately 2.800kgs. Each one is surmounted by a square piece of wood with a wooden dowel peg protruding from the top. One of the pieces of wood has a crack in but nothing serious and you may wish to re-finish the wood as there are scratches to the surface. At the narrow end of the leg there is a large solid bronze fixing plate with two screw holes. One of these plates has been bent slightly and will need straightening. They really are a stunning pair and could be used in a number of ways. Excellent Antique Railing with Bronze Handrail
This antique railing. At least a century or more old, fabricated prior to electric welding is assembled using banding and riveting. It has developed the beautiful surface pitting that comes only with age. Combined with the forged scrolls are flames flaring out. It is capped with solid bronze in a brushed finish that has been sealed. It is approximately 7ft long by 31" high.

Antique Bronze Bunny Rabbit Water Spigot Faucet from Detroit Mansion
This beautiful antique bronze rabbit spigot is not a modern reproduction. It was originally purchased at Doumouchelle's in Detroit. Michigan in the early 1970's. Doumouchelle's is Detroit's answer to Christies in New York. I was told that these were common on the mansions built in Detroit around the turn of the century. The spigot is made of bronze and features a carved rabbit on the handle. It measures about 6" wide b 6" high it the longest points. I have not used this since it was given to me. But the rabbit does turn freely and it appears to be in perfect working condition. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Here is an absolutely rare and very special opportunity to purchase an impressive late 19th to early 20th century American sand cast bronze fountain statue purchased by my consignors many years ago at a high end Charleston. SC area estate sale and enjoyed simply as a fabulous statue in the interim. It has an absolutely fabulous natural patina and is now verdigris bronze in color as shown. Finally ready to let this beauty go to someone in a position to put it to use as the magnificent fountain statue for which it was designed, this beauty is now available for purchase. This beautiful bronze sandcast fountain features a male and a female titan flanking a dias of reeds with waves of stylized water churning about their tails. The titans support a plateau on which rests a putti astride a dolphin. Titans differ from mermaids and mermen in that ... morethey have a bi-tail or a tail that splits in two with separate fins. And they are the legendary children of Poseidon, God of the Sea in Greek mythology. Water flows from the mouths of the two titans. From the mouth of the dolphin and from the shell the putti holds in his hand when this bronze fountain statue is connected to a fountain with water supply. The quality and detail of this fabulous large sand cast piece is phenomenal from the scales of the titans tails to the flowing robe of the putti to the creases in the knuckles and the fingernails on the hands of the figures. Look at the beautiful expression on the face of the putti and the marvelous representation of the titans from all sides. This is truly an incredible piece of art and is perfect for use in a garden or courtyard at the very nicest home or business establishment. This auction is for the bronze fountain statue shown only. For those less familiar with the sand cast process. Please know most of these molds are used just once and so there is a very good chance this piece is one of a kind. You can see evidence of this being an old sand cast bronze in the few small pebbles, from the sand, left embedded to the bronze.

Salvaged from a bank in New Jersey, this railing features a clean lines and a beautiful geometric design of fourfold cutouts; three perpendicular legs keep the rail upright. They are in the Rococo style and are dripping with shells. Acanthus leave, oak leaves and other organic embellishments. They are hollow in the centre but very heavy. Each leg weighs approx. 2.800kgs Each one is surmounted by a square piece of wood with a wooden dowel peg protruding from the top. One of the pieces of wood has a crack in but nothing serious and you may wish to re-finish the wood as there are scratches to the surface. At the narrow end of the leg there is a large solid bronze fixing plate with two screw holes. One of these plates has been bent slightly ... moreand will need straightening. They really are a stunning pair and could be used in a number of ways. They are 11¾” long and the widest part is 3” The wood at the top is 3½” by 3¾” There are touches of verdigris as shown in the photographs but this will polish off.
