Antique Late 1800's Pulley System Fence Stretcher Great Patina Farm Cabin Rustic
For sale is an antique pulley system with double hook and a clutch type brake mechanism. Other auctions indicate that this may be a fence stretcher. I am not an expert and don't know the exact date of manufacture, but there are a couple patent markings, one says Jul 9 89, and another which is not very legible but the last digit is 94, so was made most likely after 1894. All moving parts move freely but I have not tested this with rope. The pulley without the brake would be mounted at a fixed point and the other would be used to lift items in a barn or shop, but would also make a nice decorative piece. The patina is vintage and I do not see any major oxidation. The fixed pulley has brown paint on it which may be original or may have been added later. 1890 Sears Seed Plow & Planter (Catalog Included) Antique Industrial Farm Yard
This item was manufactured for Sears. Around 1890, and appears in their 1890 catalog. I am including a new reprint copy of that catalog with this auction. It measures 2 feet 4 inches long and stands 14 inches tall. I have had this planter for over 40 years. Found it at an antique shop. Saw it and fell in love with it. Paid around $100. for it then. I had the brass plaque made for it. And had it hanging on my wall with flowers in it, for many years. It makes an awesome conversation piece, and looks lovely that way, with flowers in the seed retainer, or it could be used for a very unique yard or porch decoration. I have never had it outdoors, and it came with the rust patina when I got it. It is very solid, with no rust though whatsoever except one small spot on the seed container. Which is a thinner metal. A couple pics make the seed container ... morerust look deeper than it actually is) However, t he seed container is thick and the whole unit is very strong. The rest of the piece is cast and has only extremely minor surface rust. The piano wire that you see on it is for wall hanging. As it swivels in the middle and this restrains it. Included is an L bracket that attaches to a wall, which it sits on and is almost invisible. Looks like it is just sitting on the wall by itself. This unit plows the row. Drops the seeds at a determined amount, and pulls the rows back together. Then the conve x rear wheel rolls the ground down. There is a brass indicator. see pics) for adjustment to different types of seed, for more or less seed droppings. This unit has a gear rear end that turns the seed planter as the front wheel t urns. Although I have never greased it up. It is all free and seems work as it was designed and could be functional with some grease and a bit of freeing up. PAYMENT: is via Pay Pal. Antique Louden? Double Hay Trolley Litter Carrier Feed Cast Iron Farm Barn
This is a rare antique litter carrier. It is a chain style track hoist similar to a hay trolley but is used for wider bins. It is unsigned but possibly a Louden which is the only manufacturer that I have found that makes these. It has moderate rust and does not work. It has been cleaned off and lubricated a little but the main bar does not rotate and is rusted tight where it goes into the hoist mechanism. Overall however it is in good physical shape and the two hook chains can be lengthen and shortened by removing a cotter pin and unwrapping the chain. Measures 65" long and 19" high(not including the chain) and about 13" deep. Sold as is. Thank you!

This is an old Nae number 148 barn pulley. The wooded pulley is 6 inches across and the total length is 14 inches. It still has the old red primitive paint on it. I washed it and cleaned it up and if the buyer would like I could put a clear coat finish on it. But I think it might darken it and it would have a shiny finish. This auction is for antique pump jack. It was made by the US Challenge Co. in Batavia. Illinois. I have the main part, the mounting plate, and the vertical piece that moved up and down. I believe I have it all but not sure on that. It is rusty but still solid. The pulley wheel moves freely and the pump goes up and down. It would make a great piece to restore. The wheel itself measures 17 inches in diameter. The main component measures approx. 32 by 13 inches by 19 inches tall, the plate 18 by 9 inches and the vertical piece measures approx. 53 inches long. It is heavy and so I have shipping for local pickup only. If you want it shipped I can work with you and take it to a shipping company that can ship it but I do not have the means to crate it and ship it myself. Old Antique Vintage Farm Grain Silo Conveyer Belt with 3 Scoop Metal Buckets
This is from an 100+ year old farm near where I live in Oregon. The last picture shows the 2 large wooden pulleys that were used to move these conveyor belt mounted"scoops" from the floor of the barn to a feed silo. The scoops would fill at the bottom and when they reached the top pulley they would flip for the ride down. Emptying the grain into the silo. The farm has fallen into disrepair, the equipment has sat idle for decades. I aquired the pulleys and the belt. But not before someone cut the belt into pieces, 3 scoops each. I plan on recreating the belt system here in my home, as decor. I am not going to use all the pieces, so I am offering a few here on Ebay. I do see another seller offering them as well. I will ask a considerably lower opening bid on mine. Your welcome. This conveyor was fabricated by the farmer. The scoops ... moredo not all match. May differ in sizes slightly, and may not be perfectly spaced. It was meant for work, not decoration. So, that aside, the piece being offered here is about 29 inches long, just shy of 8 inches wide. This is a Rare Antique Cast Iron& Wood Barn Hay Fork/ Hoist Claw from an old New York State Farm! The item has raised lettering on one side of the mechanism at the top that says“J. Farrell& Son– Newton NJ” And the reverse side says Patent Applied For. The item measures 45” across the bottom(when the claw is closed) and is 37 ½” tall. It has a toggle at the top so it can swing freely, and a spring activated lever that lets you release the hay by a connected line, when it is in the air. It also has a few iron hand holds& loops connected to the wooden strut that goes up either side. Because of the extremely large size, I Cannot Ship This Item! This is for an Antique Primitive Farm Franklin style galvanized wash tub or grain tub. It looks like a Franklin but is not marked so I am not sure if it is. It has rope handles and one is missing.
