These oar locks came off of a vintage Old Town Boat years ago. They have been sitting on a shelf in the barn for a quite a while and it’s time for them to go down the river. They are in great shape except for screw holes; some idiot opened them up for to be able to use bigger screws. The base plates measure approximately 1 ¾ inches by 4 7/8 inches. This set has a great patina and were manufactured when quality mattered. Each pair of oar locks were hand lapped in to make them operate smoothly. These are 7 old Victorian plinth blocks. They are not oak but most likely made from yellow pine. They are in original condition. The two extra blocks in picture one are not included.Four measure approx. 5 1/4 inches wide and 11 inches tall and three measure 5 inches wide and 8 inches tall. They are approx. 1 inch thick. They are in good condition for their age with a few cracks that you can see in the pictures. They each have the original nail holes. Five have been stripped and two have the original finish. Up for sale is antique architectural and gardening lion head wall mounted fountain recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area from the estate of an antique dealer. These items were packed away and remained unseen for over a decade. There are losses on the side and the bottom of the piece. The lions nose was pushed in a bit too. These came from a Victorian home that was demolished in Falls Church. Va. in the 1970's. My parents have had them stored and they intended to use them in their house. But new ones were used instead. There are 7 carriages total. They are a sturdy wood. I am not sure what kind of wood it is. Perhaps oak. These measure anywhere from 50" long to 63" long and are all about 11" wide. It helped with the weight of the snow on the roof and prevented large sheets of it from crashing down on those below. A large decorative antique plaster head measuring approx 13" x 13" x 6" 33cm x 33cm x 15cm) possibly from an architectural moulding or grand building. It makes a stunning feature or an impressive wall hanging. Its in good condition for its age- I believe it has been painted in matt chalk coloured paint a long time ago and there are a few small areas where this is peeling. But I think this adds to its vintage character, although you could probably strip the paint off if you wanted to get it down to the bare plaster. This is pretty heavy and being plaster. You can collect or I am happy to send it by courier.
