The entire mold is 8 by 6 by 2 inches and has a really lovely patina. The scroll part is 5 by 4 inches with not quite 1/2 inch in depth. There is a hairline crack running across the mold. The wood is checked but there are 3 layers of it and it's quite solid and sturdy. Weighs 2.6 pounds. Someone has put a sawtooth hanger on the back so this can be hung. It will also just sit nicely on its side.

We can help load onto a low flatbed t raile r. Items are in the Carbondale. IL area of Southern Illinois, about 2-1/2 hours southeast of St. Louis, 3 hours north west of Nashville. TN. The jug is a chocolate brown color. Approx. 60 inches high, 45 inches in diameter at the la r gest part. The diameter of the outer t op rim is 25.5" and the hole at the top measures 16" The inner diameter of the drain hole is 3.5" and its outer diameter is 5.5" Don't know the exact weight but would guess it at 600 to 900 lbs. There is a chipped spot on the inside of the top ri m. Company name stamped on the jug looks like"GAW" with the letter"S" across the ... morecenter. What appears to be a date code says. 9 17 18" This is a rare item. And in all our travels we've only seen one other like it, which sat in front of a restaurant west of St Louis. It is five foot high and stands abou t five foot 6 when installed. The fini als are all hand hammered and cut into spears. There are no welds what soever since this is original antique iron. The fence is all riveted. There are some bends which are repairable. There are al so some bottom rails which are missing which are also repairable. Antique Vintage Metal Kitchen Cabinets 'American' Sink + 5 Cabinets 1950's

Here is a suite of metal cabinets that were removed from a 1950's-era kitchen. Made by'American Kitchens' There is a sink with base, as well as(5) upper cabinets in different sizes. These will need a bit of work to be refinished, as there are some dents and rust present. The sink top is a stamped steel piece(not cast iron) with a porcelain enamel finish. All of the cabinets have a wood-grain contact paper on them, though it does peel off! The sink base is rusty where ... morethe water supply/drain was located. And the kick has some glue residue from the old rubber moulding that was removed. One of the doors is badly dented and one of the drawers has a slight ding(see pics) The porcelain is in decent shape except for a small rust spot and a spot of missing enamel in one of the basins(see pics) The faucet trim is slightly pitted, and the spout looks like a replacement. There is no sprayer, the hole is plugged(see pics) The valves open and close freely. One of the upper cabinets also has a slightly bent door. But the rest are straight. There is also a small flourescent light that's included that attaches to the underside of the smallest cabinet(it was directly over the sink) All of the upper cabinets have adjustable shelves. Here's an old clear glass"Visible Mail" mail box from the 1930's. This was found in the basement of an old uptown mansion here in Butte Montana. Embossed in the glass at the top front in small print is; George F Collins& co. patented 5-22-34. Below that; visible" in an oval, below that"MAIL" in large letters. Thie metal parts looks to have been painted along with the house at some time, the paint has weathered and light rust has come thru resulting in a patina only time can create. All metal parts are solid. The glass is aged with some light rust stains arount the metal parts, again, patina! This mounts with three holes on the back, the magazine or newspaper holder is the top mount. The mail goes in the top door and out the bottom and has a place for a small padlock. Sometimes I list items that I find in one of the 700 boxes that are slowly being unpacked. This item. Has a rather different story. I saw a unusual looking"thing" when I was looking at an old wood lathe I had seen on Craigslist. It was old. The barn it was in was old, the man who had used the lathe was so old he had died from old age. I asked what the"thing" was, and was told it was a hay"spear.harpoon. I asked what did that do? I was then told how"back in the day" the trolley system used to store hay into, and get out of tall barns. I decided I needed to get the entire hay"system" and put it in my office. Which has a high wood beamed ceiling, much like a barn. I bought the lathe, and the double hay harpoon. Then I had to find a trolley. I know they are on Ebay, but I wanted to find the old barn ... moreand get it down myself. this is one of those things where"be careful of what you wish for. is sooo true. I found the trolley. In the old 100 year old barn, wood roof had holes in it, wood floor on the loft was rotten. But.there was the trolley, and the railing. I drove the 50 mile trip home trying to think of a way to achieve the feat of getting at something 50 feet in the air. In a falling down barn. I began assembling my items I thought I needed. Description Matching restored set of 5 all removed from the same property. Probably dating from around 1880. The bells, fixing plates, return springs and arms are all original but the flower decorations are good quality reproductions. Originally they weren't in great condition and had numerous coats of paint. All the bells, arms and fixing plates have been cleaned and lightly polished and both springs stripped cleaned and finished with an iron paste in the traditional way. John Deere 1.5 HP hit and miss antique engine on original cart
Up for sale is a 1928 John Deere 1.5 hp"E" hit and miss engine on original John Deere trucks(cart) This is an older restoration I did in the last 1970s. It ran fine as of roughly 5 years ago but has been sitting in my garage since then. The magneto was rebuilt in the early 1980s. The end cap and rotor ends were replaced using NOS(new old stock) John Deere parts- those are the parts that commonly"rot" on these. Anyone who knows antique engines and magnetos would probably get the magnet recharged. The cart is original John Deere- at some point before I bought it. The rear axle casting had broken was welded by a past owner. Not very neat but it's been strong. The photos show the rear axle casting having been welded. The muffler does not have the cast"screen" with the holes in it. The muffler is missing the guts ... moreand has been that way since I bought it in the 70s. The fuel tank has been patched using an old oil can tin soldered to the bottom of the tank. Since it has been sitting for a few years I expect the check valve in the tank is gummed up from sitting. There is a cracked spoke on the crank-side flywheel. I show the crack in the photos. Although I've run it this way since day one- I highly recommend the new owner replace that flywheel. I can point you to someone who can furnish a good flywheel for it- they are not difficult to change. I have for auction a beautiful section of antique wrought iron fence. This fence came from a cemetery the person I purchased it from also said it is approx 120 years old. It has 7 sections of fencing that are each approx 5 ft long by 3 ft 4 1/2 inches tall from the ground to the top of the finial. We looked at the fence and there are enough brackets to connect this section of fence together with it ending with one section having an extra bracket and the other end will not. You will need to add your own bolts and nuts to connect them. They are topped off with neat old finials each measures approx 4" I have numbered each section so I can describe each one individually and I will try my best to describe it so you know exactly what you are buying. 1= has 8 top and bottom finials and every thing looks straight#2= has 8 top and bottom finials ... moreand it looks straight it has the one end piece is loose and has the top bolt but the bottom 2 are missing#3= has 8 top and bottom finials and the 2nd top finial has a bend to it approx 1/2" off center. Can also be used as a decorative wall piece or as a room divider when attached to the top of a half wall. I don't have any documentation for the piece to indicate age, but it was found inside a friend's 100 year old farmhouse when they moved into it many years ago. I am not certain of the wood type, but it is some kind of hardwood and is stained a medium brown color(I've seen a lot of oak pieces stained this color) There are 36 stick and ball rods and one swirly scroll cut design in the center. There are two dowel holes in the flat edge of the piece. Please inspect all photos carefully and ask any questions before bidding. The bottom has 2 cabinet doors with raised panels and carved embellishments. It measure 88.5 inches tall by 42.5 wide overall. Each side of the back is 32 inches wide.
