This is one of two very old ornate wood panel doors with folding privacy screens. After much debate. We determined that they were originally part of a church, perhaps modesty doors on a confessional. This is just our opinion since we have never come across something this unique. Hand carved oak leafs. Only the front is carved. Back is flush. Pegged tenons& ship lap joints leads us to believe the doors are 19th century or even earlier. They are solid and fairly heavy. Given the age. They do have several conditional issues and we'll let the photos address these issues. I consider all the issues expected honest wear. This door has a crack which is displayed in a close up photo. Otherwise ... moreit is structurally sound with plenty of character. The previous owner hung them for display and they have the hangers on the back but they could be re-purposed for any creative use. Nice antique wheel repurposed into a hat rack. Unsure of the wheel original purpose possibly from an spinning wheel. The wood frame and spindles are a hardwood and are undamaged. There are some slight separations at the joints. 7 old cast iron hooks have been added. This piece would be suitable to use for a hat rack coats would be a little heavy for it.
